The Little Cabin offers a mountain basecamp, getaway, vacation or over night travel stop 30 miles from LARAMIE, WY, I80, WY 130, US 287 & Co 125, 2.5 miles from Woodslanding/WY 230. No cell service but wi-fi available in the sunroom. Depending on the time of year there are various outdoor activities to enjoy. Hiking, Fishing, Snow Shoeing, Cross Country skiing. There are Mountain Lakes, Plains Lakes, the Big Laramie River, Snowy Range Down Hill Ski Area all with in a 60 mile radius. There is public access to the Big Laramie River across the highway where you can fish or walk the public access path that runs next to it. Saratoga, WY Hot Springs are about 90 miles west and makes for a beautiful drive. Snowy Range Mountain offers trails for hiking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing, Star gazing from the Little Cabin, Gazebo or hot tub is amazing. There is no light pollution which allows a view of the stars some have never seen.

We are in Wyoming, on Highway 287 between Fort Collins, CO. and Laramie, Wyoming. We are still building out our property with a General store, and Western Themed Town coming soon. We have campsites for RV’s or Tents. We have an amazing 1000 acres to have your own hiking, wildlife, birdwatching, adventure. We have great hiking and wildlife viewing, marmots, pronghorn, antelope, deer, elk, and an occasional moose. Birds of every feather gather here so bring your binoculars. Hikes include balancing boulders and rock formations. Wonderful stargazing, our stars are so bright it seems like you can reach up and touch them. We are a working ranch and do have livestock. Don’t mess with the bull!Firewood, for $7.00 per bag delivered to your campsite. The bags make a great trash bag when empty! Do not bring your own firewood, as we don’t want more pine beetles and noxious weeds. Due to the high volume of people coming in separate vehicles, after two vehicles per site, its $10.00 per vehicle extra per night. We have portable outhouses available.

There is a RV pad set to park a large camper or van on as well as a grassy meadow that would be very comfortable for a smaller camper or 4WD van. The property is a shady thick aspen forest with occasional clearings and undeveloped game trails. You can expect to see wildlife if you stay for very long at all. It's very common to see moose, rabbits, foxes, deer and all kinds of birds frolicking in the woods. The property is also about a 2 mile drive from 2 different national forest access areas both offering unique hiking, fishing, off roading , skiing, and exploring. Also, grand Targhee ski resort is only a 20 minute drive from the house. The Teton river " 30 minutes away" has world class fishing for everyone from kids to serious fly fisherman. We have 3 friendly labrador muts living on the property so if you have dogs that like to play in the woods and are friendly to other dogs, bring them! Campfires are not out of the question but are extremely dependent on weather conditions.
