Hi, we are David and Amanda Evans! We are excited to assume management of Barnyard Campground (Formerly Ten Sleep Brewing Co. Campground). We are located in a field next to the brewery and Signal Butte, a beautiful red cliff at the base of the Big Horn Mountains in Ten Sleep Wyoming. We are surrounded by beautiful vistas! One of the best is our neighbor - Ten Sleep Brewing Company. They make some of the best beer in the state! Each small camp site offers a shaded picnic table per site, the larger RV sites do not, but are graveled. We offer nearby port-a-potties, and trash receptacles and incredible vistas all around. A very unique and beautiful brewery camping experience! We offer a unique opportunity to unplug and relax. This campground is rustic and rural! No wifi, no electricity, no water hookups. Please note! It is important to look at each sites description when booking as some sites accommodate different sized camping rigs. Also please note we are located next to a Red Vista RV park. If you turn to soon you will be at Red Vista RV park which has concrete pads. SOOOO if you are at the concrete pads you are in the wrong spot. If you love to climb and experience the outdoors this is your place. Rich in history, this ranching town was the halfway point—or ten “sleeps”—between two major Sioux Indian camps. Surrounded by working sheep and cattle farms, today’s Ten Sleep, with a permanent population of only 260, Ten Sleep is a fun detour for those on the way to Yellowstone National Park, and to the nearby Bighorn National Forest. Ten Sleep is so close to the Bighorn Mountains that you can’t see them from most places in town—the striking reddish-hued foothills block the view. But you can’t help taking in Ten Sleep Canyon, which rises into the mountains starting about six miles east of town and has grown in the past couple of decades into one of America’s top summer climbing destinations, with more than 800 climbing routes! Mention you are camping at the Barnyard and receive a discount at the brewery!

Would stay again! You aren’t going to get much privacy, but this is a convenient, safe spot to camp for a night just outside of Bighorn NF. Definitely recommend a stop at the brewery for a beer, I didn’t have a pizza but they looked fantastic.

Overall, it was great. The site has a cool backdrop with the orange mountains and the brewery, and every tent site has a cute sun shade over the picnic table. The RV sites are interestingly lined up in a way I haven’t seen before, and it was empty there besides us. We had booked the site with the highest rating, and I realize this is a fairly new camp ground, so the rocks / gravel that were put down on the RV sites are probably all not settled. Long story short, we randomly heard a loud bang and after examining, one of our stabilizers had punctured through a hole with the pole into the ground, braking off the round piece which normally functions at the foot of the pole base. Unfortunate, so I’d possibly recommend not using stabilizers if camping with a large RV. Other than that, we loved it and the brewery was laid back with pizza and games to offer.

In fairness, I wasn't able to arrive for the originally scheduled reservation ...so I cannot speak to the camping experience. Both Amanda & I had communication disruptions that caused delays in our coordination. Hipcamp's app is often sluggish & 'buggy' ... I experience long pauses after a button press on my phone, taking far too long to load the host's property description, directions and rules. This quickly leads to frustration and is a DISINCENTIVE to continue using the service. I told Becky that I could NOT arrive on time and asked her to RESCHEDULE my reservation for the NEXT day. She told me that they were already booked up the next day... and asked if I wanted a REFUND. Now understand this ...I'm 65 years old and multi-tasking is not a strength. I am focused on navigating and safely DRIVING my RV and caring for a 14 year old dog, I CANNOT continuously remain in conversation with anyone. The obvious answer to: "Do you want a refund?" (particularly when my request to reschedule reservation to the following day is impossible) ...is YES! But did that happen. ...NO! Becky chose to KEEP the money, despite providing NO services to me. She provided ZERO proof that she had lost income for anyonr's planned reservation, due to holding mine OPEN even after we both saw my arrival wouldn't happen. Cue 'Dire Strait's "Money for nothing" song.

This was my second time tent camping here — this time in season! — and it was even better than the last. Last time I camped on my own in October, but loved it so much I had to show my husband. He liked it and we changed our 1 night stay to a 2 night stay!

A strict one car rule, no parking at the brewery allowed (!), plus exposed sites and big wind (so much dirt in our tents)... and an edm concert blasting until midnight. We didn't end up staying the second night! Next time I'll just camp in the nfs nearby.

The positives: Great location in Ten Sleep, WY - walk to the tap room for homemade pizza and great local beer! Port-a-potties are convenient and check the box for bathrooms. A water spigot is available at the tap room exterior. The negatives: No privacy (wasn’t expecting any for an in-town camping experience) The showers that are advertised cost $4 extra at the tap room and only one of the two showers was working The sites aren’t level

This was our second year to stay the Ten Sleep campground. Once again a wonderful time. It’s a perfect location, a short drive to Thermopolis and Buffalo. The brewery once again delivered great brews and pleasant atmosphere.

It’s a beautiful camp site & the people were extremely nice and friendly. I would recommend and I would plan to visit again. I only difficult thing is if your arriving after the sun has set it’s hard to locate where to go and find your camp site number.

Beautiful area just outside a nice quiet little town. The site was clean and well cared for. The brewery was far better than what I expected from such a sparsely populated area and had a really good local turnout the night I was there. Potable water was available and tasted great. I was slightly disappointed that the showers were turned off for the season, but understood. I will make that a camping spot on future trips.
