Decide if you’d like to camp on the banks of clear creek or on a top of a hill with a view. If you’re pulling a camper or driving an RV there are 2 easily accessible locations with access to power. Locations are near Clear Creek so you can enjoy playing in the water or take a hike through a pasture. There is a cafe and bar just 4 miles up the road. They also offer shower and laundry services. We are a real working cattle ranch and there is local wildlife to view. We have been blessed with this beautiful property and want to share it with others. We have been operating an Airbnb out of the old barn for 5 years now. The barn was the old feed store in Cody and was moved to this property. Buffalo Bill supposedly bought feed from the store. Lovell is known as the Rose Capitol of Wyoming with the climate being perfect for growing roses. The Pryor Mountain Wild Mustangs are just minutes from our place and we almost always see them out there. Starting summer of 2025 we are excited to be partnering with Tangle Ridge Outfitters out of Greybull Wyoming to offer horse trail rides. Ask for how to contact them to schedule your ride. Cody, only 50 miles to the west is a town loaded with history of the old west and features Cody Nite Rodeo every night of the summer from June 1 through August 30 as well as numerous museums and other attractions. Buffalo Bill Museum of the West will keep you busy for a couple of days if you are a museum buff. Just about everyday in the summer, you are likely to see a gunfight on the street in front of the historic Irma Hotel. There is also Old Trail Town, a recreated old west town. Further to the west just 90 miles from here is the East gate of Yellowstone open from the end of May until first of November. Thermopolis with their giant hot springs is just about 100 miles to the south of us. The Bighorn National Recreation is just minutes from Lovell featuring the 3rd Longest Canyon in the United States with breathtaking views of the Reservoir from Devil's Overlook. Further to the east are the Bighorn Mountains where you can frequently see moose, elk, deer and other wildlife. Learn more about this land: Traveling in your RV but don't want a traditional "trailer park"? At the Rafter JB you will be the only trailer here, you will enjoy a large landscaped outdoor space which is shared with an Airbnb rental, but there is plenty of room for privacy. The red bluff in the background was a very strategic vantage point for early Indigenous Americans for hunting game that roamed the creek bottom. The rest of this exciting story will have to be heard when you get here. The Redwater Creek is full of Brown and Rainbow trout. They are sneaky little buggers that can actually hear your footsteps when you are fishing along the bank. Daniel’s property was easy to find. The site was gravel, but it was level. Daniel was very accommodating with an adaptor for our 30 Amp camper, as well as a water hookup. The view from our site, overlooking Douglas, was very nice with a beautiful sunset and sunrise.

The landowners were super nice. Got me in late. And helped me get parked in the dark. They offered some delicious beef for me and 3 my dogs to buy which helped keep the doggies happy. Nice and private. Great communication. I recommend this spot !

Weekend Trip to Naked Acres WY

Our stay at Melissa’s Hipcamp site was incredible! The cabins were so nice and cozy, and the outdoor kitchen and shower were great. The property is beautiful and we were so happy we got to stay there on our road trip. I only wish we could have been there for longer!! We will definitely be coming back!

Cute lil cabin. Given it's on a working ranch, I thought it'd be a bit cleaner - lots of dead moths inside. Land and sunset were gorgeous. the owners were super nice and the homemade lemon Greek yogurt and beef jerky were absolutely delicious.

One of the many great sunsets you can catch on the right night, followed by amazing star views.

We stayed a couple of nights here and enjoyed it! It was easy to get to and directions to our spot were clear. It’s secluded and quiet, but also offers a small bar (dogs are allowed inside!) and general store. We will definitely be back!

Place is easy to find and has wide open spaces for setting up camp and viewing the Wyoming scenery and sunset... even spotted a pronghorn prancing across the property early in the morning. Host and hostess very friendly and welcoming.

Directions were very easy to follow and set up of campsites was logical and well spaced apart. We were the only ones there that night. Stayed at site 4. The toilet was a portable unit. Very clean. We got surprised that the water was turned off for the season but our host brought us water from his place which was plentiful. We recommend!

Eric was such a friendly host. There is no designated camping spot on the property so you can pitch your tent wherever works best for you. Eric supplied us with wood and gasoline to have a fire for the evening.

Daniel & Nikki were fabulous hosts! They were so welcoming and accommodating. It was a very relaxing stay and we had a beautiful view, overlooking grassy hills and having pronghorn come so close to the property. Next time we will bring the motorcycle with so we can experience some of the other adventures in the area. Looking forward to our next stay here!

Car is parked at end closest to incoming lane. This is the first, but most private, site.
