My homestead is located on 4 1/2 acres of pastureland that currently have no animals. You will turn on Powell rd to reach the back portion. The camping spots are located on the back part of the property and along a refurbished shed that includes 1 added 30 amp plug; interior electric, clean well water delivery or hose filling in warmer months as well as a separately fenced area for visiting canines (Please only non-aggressive breeds unless leashed at your camp). My Golden has an invisible fence and is not allowed to visit campers unless permitted. Fires are only permitted and shared on the back patio of my home. Activities for fun on site include corn hole, firepit on lower patio along with a propane weber grill. Only 2-3 mile from Frontier Park and an electric bike ride to downtown to tour the museums, restaurants and shops. Currently, new to hip camp and refurbishing the house and exterior so The Shed will be a working/congregating space with refrigerator/freezer, electric cooktop and indoor space with a fan so folks can escape their cars/vans. Wi-Fi is also available in the shed and the surrounding camp areas toward the building. This was my dream come true property and I'm looking forward to sharing it with road warriors like me. Weather is forever changing here and clouds roll by fast leaving the most fabulous rainbows. I just ask that no fires of any kind be set at your site because the field is a fire hazard in the dry plains.

So welcoming and accommodating. Got a text the day of my arrival asking for ETA so Paulette could meet me. My rig was having water pump issues but Paulette allowed me to use a shower in one of their properties. Great hosts.

Paulette was such a gracious host. Truly appreciated her checking in on us and the personalized service. We had a few questions about fuel and groceries and she had good recommendations. If we are passing through again, we would not hesitate to stay here again. Wonderful stay!

Host is the nicest person ! We got there way later than we expected, and she did not mind. She still helped set us up even despite being in the middle of the night. We will definitely stay again when passing through . The views are amazing and the animals are such a joy!

Great piece of US history to enjoy while camping at very level sites. Friendly staff and great buffalo burgers! Loved seeing the buffalo. Sad the restaurant had closed- I was really looking forward to one of their steaks.

We had a blast here! Even though it’s right off the highway, we didn’t have any road noise while we were sleeping. The space is GREAT for families with the bison train, animal boardwalk, and the Kids’ Corral with karaoke, sand volleyball (that’s lit up at night), horseshoes, and other fun games, plus two fun playgrounds. The icing on the cake was truly the staff working in the Trading Post. They were so welcoming and kind, especially Butters the cat. :)

We arrived late in the day but felt very welcomed. We were the only campers that night and my dogs were able to run off leash on the property. I ordered the extra - 6 fresh eggs which were excellent.

What a wonderful view of the rolling hills of Douglas, Wy with birds to keep you engaged while watching the sunset. The site is clean, level and inviting. Daniel, the host is a very kind gentleman who made sure my stay was comfortable. Highly recommend - I know I will return!
