The Virginia Dale Stage Station is about three miles away and the overland trail has several branches going through here. We are also a fifth generation cattle ranch. We are in Wyoming, on Highway 287 between Fort Collins, CO. and Laramie, Wyoming. We are still building out our property with a General store, and Western Themed Town coming soon. We have campsites for RV’s or Tents. We have an amazing 1000 acres to have your own hiking, wildlife, birdwatching, adventure. We have great hiking and wildlife viewing, marmots, pronghorn, antelope, deer, elk, and an occasional moose. Birds of every feather gather here so bring your binoculars. Hikes include balancing boulders and rock formations. Wonderful stargazing, our stars are so bright it seems like you can reach up and touch them. We are a working ranch and do have livestock. Don’t mess with the bull!Firewood, for $7.00 per bag delivered to your campsite. The bags make a great trash bag when empty! Do not bring your own firewood, as we don’t want more pine beetles and noxious weeds. Due to the high volume of people coming in separate vehicles, after two vehicles per site, its $10.00 per vehicle extra per night. We have portable outhouses available.

Camp site's 5 and 6 are secluded. They would be best for someone who is self contained, as they don’t have an outhouse nearby. Sites 7 8 9 have some seclusion. Site's 10 11 12 13 14 15 are perfect for families, where you can all be together but separate. We are a work in progress but we will try to accommodate anything you may need. Please talk to us! We have firewood $7.00 per bag delivered to your campsite. Do not bring your own firewood. We don’t want more pine beetles and noxious weeds. This property belonged to my grandparents. My grandpa and grandma ran cattle and sheep on the land and put up hay. They raised my dad and his two brothers on the place. My dad and mom built a house just West of the property, where I grew up, walking over the hill to visit Grandpa and Grandma. They sold the ranch when I was 10 years old. The place was sold 3 times before I was able to buy it back in 2021. The purchase included an RV campsite. My wife Lindsey and I thought, what a great way to meet people and share a little piece of our amazing Wyoming. There is nothing better in the world than waking up early in Rural Wyoming!

Open views of hay meadows, cattle, sheep and sagebrush. The area around the campsite is an open field with easy interstate access. There are neighbors within view and our home is approximately 1/4 mile away from the two RV camping spots. We have kids, horses, sheep, dogs, cats and rabbits. There are also antelope and deer. We do offer electrical, septic and water hookups at both locations. Both sites are immediately adjacent to one another. Just a short drive from Douglas, Wyoming and Natural Bridge State Park.

Check out the local bison herd (including its famous white bison) at Bear River State Park in Evanston. While there, walk around the Historic Depot Area and the Union Pacific Roundhouse and Railyards further to the west. The downtown stretch along Main St. is step back in time and the site of our local brewery (Suds). Up the road on I-80 is historic Fort Bridger. Fishing available at local reservoirs and Bear River.

We have 30 and 50 amp RV sites (each site has water) along with primitive tent sites. This property belonged to my grandparents. My grandpa and grandma ran cattle and sheep on the land and put up hay. They raised my dad and his two brothers on the place. My dad and mom built a house just West of the property, where I grew up, walking over the hill to visit Grandpa and Grandma. They sold the ranch when I was 10 years old. The place was sold 3 times before I was able to buy it back in 2021. The purchase included an RV campsite. My wife Lindsey and I thought, what a great way to meet people and share a little piece of our amazing Wyoming. There is nothing better in the world than waking up early in Rural Wyoming!

There are neighbors within view and our home is approximately 1/4 mile away from the two RV camping spots. We have kids, horses, sheep, dogs, cats and rabbits. There are also antelope and deer. We do offer electrical, septic and water hookups at both locations. Both sites are immediately adjacent to one another. Just a short drive from Douglas, Wyoming and Natural Bridge State Park.

Welcome to Big Sky Country with fabulous sunrises and sunsets everyday. My 35 acres sit at 7500 ft elevation with 360-degree views for miles around, including view of the snow-capped Uintas. No neighbors (unless you count the occasional cattle or sheep as it is open range). Starry skies, red cliffs, sage seas, junipers, howling coyotes: the Wild West at its best. Pull in your RV or pitch a tent.
Lots to see and do in the area. The Piedmont ghost town and kilns are 15 minutes away. The majestic Uinta mountains are 30 minutes to the southeast on the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway. Check out the local bison herd (including its famous white bison) at Bear River State Park in Evanston. While there, walk around the Historic Depot Area and the Union Pacific Roundhouse and Railyards further to the west. The downtown stretch along Main St. is step back in time and the site of our local brewery (Suds). Up the road on I-80 is historic Fort Bridger. Fishing available at local reservoirs and Bear River.

Linda's cabin was exactly what we were looking for - a place to get off our phones, relax and have fun with our pup. I spent most of the daylight hours outside wrapped in a blanket on the Adirondack chairs with my furry buddy at my feet.
The cabin is well equipped with a a heater, microwave, mini fridge and electric kettle. There is also a propane BBQ just outside the cabin which we didn't use this trip, but will keep in mind for future visits.
Our pup, Petra, had so much fun and I felt very comfortable having her off leash while exploring the property. She loved the treats Linda left for her each day!
We were very comfortable; it was the perfect getaway.

The cabin was a perfect mountain get away! Linda was extremely helpful, offering detailed directions, fresh cookies and fresh coffee in the morning. The property and view was breathtaking, pictures just don’t do it justice. The drive out is gorgeous and you get right into the mountains and backcountry. Amazing getaway for some peace and star gazing!

Very very very remote and quite site. We saw unbelievable stars and could hear a pin drop that night it was so quiet. We got in super late and because there was no GPS coordinates available had some issues finding it. The last instruction was a little inaccurate and it messed us up. The site was about 400 feet from the road and the instructions say 100 feet. Other than that it was good!
