Weekend Trip to Buford Canyon

This is a perfect retreat! Chas and Gail have made sure you have everything you need for a comfortable off-grid experience. The property is spectacular, the other guests were quiet and considerate, and the amenities are perfect. Because the cabin runs on solar, if you are a “coffee first thing” person, you may want to consider bringing a jetboil or similar, but that’s not necessary. Truly a wonderful place to stay and enjoy the quiet!

We absolutely love this Hipcamp property, which is obvious because this is our 6th time here in the past 4 years! The site is peaceful and the scenery can't be beat. Add to that an immaculately maintained property by the nicest hosts you'll ever meet. We'll be back, of course. It's a perfect place to stay for one night if you're traveling through, but you'll wish you stayed longer.

Very cool place. The cabin was very comfortable for 2 people and 2 dogs. There is another cabin and campsite on the property but still felt private. Surrounded by Wyoming state land which was walking distance from the cabin. Can’t recommend the place enough. Will stay again if passing through the area.

Do not miss a chance to stay here!!! I enjoyed one night in the South Crow Cabin while driving across country. I wish I had planned at least two nights. The cabin was cozy inside and out, incredible views for sunrise and sunset from the porch and plenty of land to explore. Book it!!

Weekend Trip to Hilltop Home

Daniel and his wife Nikki were accommodating and gracious hosts. I admittedly have trouble with attention to detail, and missed that our site didn’t have a toilet, and they were kind to accommodate us. We were given the choice of where to set up, and decided to forgo the electric hookup for the fire pit and a stunning view. We also booked the river float add on, and it was a lovely time and peaceful paddle. My son got a little hyper focused on charging our backup battery, and Daniel was super patient helping him find a spot to do so. We needed a spot to split up the drive on the way back from way back to Denver from South Dakota, and it was a great place to chill for a couple nights and see some gorgeous Wyoming sunsets before heading home.

We really enjoyed our night on Tanner & Lindsey’s land. They were helpful and pleasant hosts. Our camping neighbor was great too! Our older son is already asking if we can stay here again. Highly recommended. Thanks so much!

We loved staying at Blue Moon while traveling through the west. Chas and Gail's land was unbelievable and such a retreat from the road life. We were able to hike and enjoy the views, then retreat back to the cabin for meals and relaxation.

They have sun shades and a picnic table as there are no trees around. We were comfortable sleeping in tents and the site easily accommodated three tents. We live and work here full-time and absolutely love summers on the Southfork. We have 4 acres in hay and a huge garden. We don't yet have bathroom access set up for travelers, so we are offering only to self-contained campers and small RVs at this time. Site's 10 11 12 13 14 15 are perfect for families, where you can all be together but separate. We are a work in progress but we will try to accommodate anything you may need. Please talk to us! We have firewood $7.00 per bag delivered to your campsite. Do not bring your own firewood. We don’t want more pine beetles and noxious weeds. Spanning 310,000 acres, Grand Teton National Park is smaller than Yellowstone but is renowned for its stunning landscapes and diverse ecosystems. The park stretches approximately 40 miles north and south, ensuring that all its attractions are easily accessible from our location. Jackson Lake, the largest lake in the Teton range, measures nearly 15 miles in length. This natural lake expanded significantly after being dammed in the early 1900s. While the western shore is only reachable by boat, the eastern shore can be accessed from Signal Mountain and Colter Bay. Jackson Lake is a popular spot for fishing, swimming, and boating, with seasonal marinas at both Colter Bay and Signal Mountain offering boat rentals. Welcome to Big Sky Country with fabulous sunrises and sunsets everyday. My 35 acres sit at 7500 ft elevation with 360-degree views for miles around, including view of the snow-capped Uintas. No neighbors (unless you count the occasional cattle or sheep as it is open range). Starry skies, red cliffs, sage seas, junipers, howling coyotes: the Wild West at its best. Pull in your RV or pitch a tent. Lots to see and do in the area. The Piedmont ghost town and kilns are 15 minutes away. The majestic Uinta mountains are 30 minutes to the southeast on the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway. Check out the local bison herd (including its famous white bison) at Bear River State Park in Evanston. While there, walk around the Historic Depot Area and the Union Pacific Roundhouse and Railyards further to the west. The downtown stretch along Main St. is step back in time and the site of our local brewery (Suds). Up the road on I-80 is historic Fort Bridger. Fishing available at local reservoirs and Bear River.
