Weekend Trip to Little Ponderosa RV Camp

Full hookups for two RVs at a fantastic price in a beautiful area just a couple of miles off the highway. They even provide a garbage can. Beautiful scenery in 360° with wildlife everywhere. Had a pronghorn run right through the campsite! The house are very friendly and polite but I didn't meet them because they gave me privacy and the house is quite far from the parking area so it really is like a separate RV park. I will definitely stay here again on my way through. If you need a place to stay for a night or more you could do much much worse! It's a wonderful location with beautiful views.

1 night at Sweetiebird Farms In Cody WY

First, this is extremely easy to find and about 10 minutes from downtown Cody. Margaret, the host, is super nice and very accommodating. She sells huge bundles of firewood for $5! The two alpaca llama mixes don't give a crap about humans so they'll ignore you, but the cows are fun and the horses are super sweet. Beautiful surroundings on a working farm with views of the mountains and 360 views of the amazing scenery. There may be dry cow patties occasionally but if that bothers you you shouldn't be coming to a farm! Spaces for camping and RVs are well separated ensuring privacy, the place is well taken care of, and the evening breezes are fantastic. Very quiet here with no trains or planes or automobiles but the occasional coyotes at night! I plan on coming back later this summer and again next year because this place makes me feel very much at peace!

Great site! Very easy to find, large spot. It was muddy around the hookup due to recent rains and I lost my shoe in it :) but it had rained a lot more than normal. Would definitely use again!

Weekend Trip to Loopy Lasso

We spent 2 nights at Loopy Lasso. The hosts were awesome and the site was well kept and had water/electric hookups. The sunsets were amazing. We would highly recommend spending time at the LL if you are near Cody, WY.

3 nights at Little Ponderosa RV Camp

We had a great time camping at the Lil Ponderosa. The views were really pretty, the sky and horses were so awesome to watch. Everything worked really well with full hook ups. We were two trailers and had a great time. Directions were really clear and easy to find the spot. Nice access point to Douglas, Glenrock, and Casper. We fished a lot!

2 nights at Loopy Lasso

We loved Tad’s land, very spacious, quiet and beautiful views of the mountains. Tad was fast to respond and gave detailed instructions on how to find the camp location.

1 night at Little Ponderosa RV Camp

Easy on & off for I-25 Well kept sites with full hookups. The only drawback is that there isn’t a dumpster or trash can for trash, but we were only there for one night, so wasn’t a big issue. The host texted after our arrival to see if all was ok, and if we needed anything. The dirt road to access the property, does have several pretty deep potholes so drive your rig cautiously to the sites.

Weekend Trip to Sweetiebird Farms In Cody WY

My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful time camping at Sweetiebird Farms! Margaret is so incredibly kind and accommodating, she really did everything to ensure we were comfortably set up on her farm and is just overall a wonderful person to meet! Not only do I adore our host but I love the location of this place, it’s close enough to town to go exploring at night while still being far enough to enjoy a peaceful and quiet night with Margaret’s sweet animals. Also, being an hour away from Yellowstone NP made this campsite the perfect place for our weekend adventure! This is my second time camping at Sweetiebird Farms and it certainly will not be the last time I stay here! I would absolutely recommend this campsite to anyone wanting to stay in Cody, WY! :)

Great spot and close to town but very quiet. Tad was great to work with and hooked us up on some nice eating and drinking spots around Cody. Always a bonus to have hookups and no one camping next to you.

Was perfect for our one night stay on the way to Grand Teton/Yellowstone. The outdoor kitchen space was perfect to get out of the wind that day and had outlets to charge our phones. Would stay again!

Great spot with easy access on and off the freeway. Full hookups were fabulous and for a great price! It was great to meet Tanner as he was driving up just as we arrived.

What an awesome spot! We had a really peaceful stay at this campsite. Despite the rain and cold, the location was very beautiful and Tad was very welcoming and helpful when we had some issues with the electrical hookup, which was all sorted very quickly.

We stayed one night as we were traveling between Montana and Colorado. We dry camped but had access to the bathrooms including showers . Bathrooms were super clean. All staff was friendly.

This property belonged to my grandparents. My grandpa and grandma ran cattle and sheep on the land and put up hay. They raised my dad and his two brothers on the place. My dad and mom built a house just West of the property, where I grew up, walking over the hill to visit Grandpa and Grandma. They sold the ranch when I was 10 years old. The place was sold 3 times before I was able to buy it back in 2021. The purchase included an RV campsite. My wife Lindsey and I thought, what a great way to meet people and share a little piece of our amazing Wyoming. There is nothing better in the world than waking up early in Rural Wyoming! Occasional Aurora Borealis and falling/shooting stars. The property backs up to a State section of 640 acres for short hikes. There are not water or electric hookups, but there is a hydrant available for water. Please be reasonable, if you need to fill up a large amount please let me know. I now have a PortaPotty on site. I have a shed with electricity if you need to charge cell phones etc, This is my second summer with Hipcamp. I am flexible, please communicate if you have different requirements or needs. If you have a bigger group, reach out. I now have firewood available. Also Grass fed grass finished beef. Hamburger and steak!

Lights Out-The Shed & Pasture

My homestead is located on 4 1/2 acres of pastureland that currently have no animals. The camping spots are located on the back part of the property and along a refurbished shed that includes a 20amp plug, 1 added 30 amp plug & interior electric, clean well water delivery or hose filling in warmer months as well as a separately fenced area for visiting canines (Please only non-aggressive breeds unless leashed at your camp). My Golden has an invisible fence and is not allowed to visit campers unless permitted. Fires are only permitted and shared on the back patio of my home. Activities for fun on site include corn hole, firepit on lower patio along with a propane weber grill. Only 1-2 mile from Frontier Park and an electric bike ride to downtown to tour the museums, restaurants & shops. Currently, new to hip camp and refurbishing the house and exterior so The Shed will be a working/congregating space with refrigerator/freezer, electric cooktop and indoor space with electric heater so folks can escape their cars/vans. Wi-Fi will eventually be in The Shed but is currently available on my back patio. This was my dream come true property and I'm looking forward to sharing it with road warriors like me. Weather is forever changing here and clouds roll by fast leaving the most fabulous rainbows. I just ask that no fires of any kind be set at your site because the field is a fire hazard in the dry plains.
