Howdy, welcome to Big Wonderful Wyoming—where the sunrises and sunsets warm your heart, the stars shine bright all night long, and deer and critters roam freely at Rockin K Kamp. Camp beneath towering 100-year-old cottonwood trees beside your own fire pit, surrounded by wide-open acres of grass and alfalfa fields. This is peaceful Wyoming country with privacy, quiet, wildlife, and unforgettable big-sky views. Depending on the season, you may spot sandhill cranes, deer, antelope, doves, songbirds, and Amish neighbors haying their crops. Look west for glimpses of the snow-covered Wind River Mountains. Hear the birds singing and enjoy the kind of quiet you can only find out here in the country. Located in the heart of the Wind River Basin, Rockin K Kamp is private and relaxing while still close to small-town conveniences and Wyoming adventures. We’re just 7 minutes from Pavillion, Wyoming (population 231), home to a post office, school, park, and Possum Pete’s Bar. Nearby attractions and day trips include: •Sinks Canyon and Sinks Canyon State Park •Wind River Canyon Scenic Byway •Dubois •Jackson •Thermopolis •Lander •Riverton •Several nearby lakes for fishing and water recreation •Little Wind Casino •Shoshone Rose Casino & Hotel •Wind River Hotel & Casino Your campsite includes: •Single RV hookup •Water •Electricity •Septic hookup •Fire pit with free firewood •Picnic table •Trash can •Outdoor night light, if needed Traveling with two RVs? There is room available for an additional fee. Pets are welcome! Horses are also welcome for an additional fee. We have three friendly horses on the property that guests may feed and pet (but not ride). Please note: • No toilet is provided. • Spring may be muddy. • Summer may bring bugs. • Winter brings snow. • Wyoming winds can range from light breezes to strong gusts, but when it’s nice, it’s really nice. Directions: Stop at main house and check in by calling or texting you have arrived. We live on the property and are available if you need anything during your stay. All the amenities are right there on the camp site. Water hookup, sewer, electric pole with light and electric outlets, firepit with free firewood for campfire, picnic table, trash can and an extra water hose hookup to help put out fire. There is a little rock area but beware it has lots of ants. If you want, you can walk the dirt roads or ride bikes if you have them. There are 100-year-old cotton trees for shade. Rockin K Kamp
The camp site was great! It is situated around a stand of large cottonwoods with lots of shade. It was hot so we parked under the shade and were able to connect to the electric and water without problem. The hosts were very nice and offered additional extension cords if we needed them. The Ranch is quiet and peaceful with a pasture with horses nearby. It was nice to empty our gray and black tanks before we left the next day. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to explore the wind river area. Great set up for tents, camper vans or small RVs.

This place was great! Two wonderful happily married, super cool hosts close by and willing and wanting to accommodate you in any way. I just had a tent, but had a great time. Electricity, water. Trees. Views. Just great. Be good people :)
