Hi Hipcampers! (Please read full description) Here is a beautiful 18 acres property in Alpine, Wy. Located 1 hour south of Jackson Hole, Wyoming! Home of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park. I’m next to Palisades Reservoir, dirt roads for miles and mountains for as for as the eyes can see. From the property you can see Palisades, mountains, aspens groves, pines, and the peace and safety of being at the end of a private road. I have an open field and then a grass area that are available for camping, car camping and campers. On site there are dogs and horses. Dogs are welcome as long as they well behaved! This is a WORKING horse property, so please don’t be surprised if you need manure, hay, wheelbarrow, trailers, etc around. The horses are friendly but I kindly ask that you do not go inside their pasture. All the surrounding water (lakes, rivers, etc) available to float, raft and fish. Alpine is located 1 hour south of Jackson Hole, Wy, home of Grand Teton and 95 miles south of Yellowstone National Park. All great place for a family adventure!

Arrived, no signs, nobody there. Just an overgrown yard around a house. Did not stay.

M3 Horse Ranch

We stayed for 3 nights at this peaceful horse ranch and had a wonderful time! The location is absolutely ideal—just minutes from Palisades Lake, and you can even see the water from the pasture area on the property. It’s tucked away from the highway, so it was quiet and serene, with no road noise at all. We brought our Razor and enjoyed nearby trail rides, spent time fishing on the lake, and even made a day trip out to Jackson and Grand Teton National Park (just about an hour away). It really is a great home base for exploring the outdoors. Madelyn, the host, was lovely—very responsive and easy to communicate with. She made sure all our questions were answered, and everything went smoothly. Full disclosure: you are staying in her yard. It’s a good-sized space, and if you park facing the meadow, you really do forget you're in someone’s backyard. That wasn’t an issue for us—we’re social and appreciated the open, welcoming vibe—but if you're seeking total privacy or seclusion, this may not be the best fit. That said, the site has both water and power hookups, which is a major plus! We’d absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who plans to spend most of their time out enjoying the lake, the trails, or the nearby national parks and just needs a safe, scenic, and convenient place to rest, cook, and shower. Bonus tip: check out Tony at Fox Ceramics shop just down the road in. He’s a local gem—great conversation and beautiful handmade pieces!

M3 Horse Ranch

My family used the M3 Horse Ranch as a place to stay on our way to the Tetons. We arrived quite late and Madelyn was very accommodating for our late arrival. The M3 Horse Ranch is in beautiful Star Valley. It was clean with very little road noise from the highway. My special needs daughter loved to see the horses on the ranch.
