This property has been in our family for generations. Come, stay and enjoy our property as we have for over 80 years. We provide secluded campsites with easy access and parking next to each site. Enjoy walking through our park- like trails which run throughout the woods. Listen to the wildlife, sit by the campfire, or enjoy canoeing, kayaking, or fishing on Apple River, and many other nearby lakes that our town has to offer.
Downtown Amery is 2 miles away from the property. Enjoy small-town attractions, such as breweries, gift, antique, and thrift shops, outdoor music, grocery stores, coffeeshops, local restaurants, and bars.
You can take a day trip to many of other small towns nearby, such as:
- Taylor Falls, for hiking or daily river cruises on St Corix River. Located 20 minutes west of Amery.
- Balsam Lake, for shopping, eateries, restaurants, and boating. 20 minutes NW of Amery.
-Osceola, take a hike and enjoy the views of Cascade Falls. Stroll around downtown's many shops located 20 minutes due west of Amery.

We are an organic vegetable farm and apple orchard. We also raise sheep, pigs, and make maple syrup. Half the land is forested, some is pasture, and other is growing fields for vegetables. We have an on farm store people visit daily. The farm is 10 minutes from the town of River falls which is on the Kinnickinnic River and has some great trails and fishing. We are about 45 minutes from St.Paul, MN.

Weekend Trip to Hoppensteadt Hills
Very last minute, I realized I needed to go camping: my stay in Site 1, Birch, was just what I was seeking for some nature nurturing. The site was private as promised (in fact I had whole campground to myself) and beautifully tucked in the woods. The yurt tent is well designed (side pockets, table in middle around center pole, also with pockets for stashing gear). Outhouse was a bit of a hike, though even the walk was pleasant, and so clean: the automatic light inside (and solar lights outside) was unexpected nice touch! I enjoyed the barred owl, sand hill cranes at night; great blue heron on one of our hikes on the property. I didn't think about it being duck hunting season, so the early morning and late evening distant gun sounds were scary for my dog, and the 2nd night fox barking was quite startling! But a good reminder we're in the woods! Maryam was helpful with answering questions during booking.

1 night at Hoppensteadt Hills
We had a nice stay at Maryam’s campsite. The tent was clean and the area was peaceful, which made for a relaxing night. We arrived after dark and quickly realized how dark it gets since there are no exterior lights provided—definitely recommend bringing plenty of lanterns or flashlights. The grass and surrounding area could use a bit of trimming as it was a little overgrown, and we did notice quite a few large spiders both on and inside the tent, so keep that in mind if you’re not a fan of bugs. The queen-sized air mattress we brought barely fit inside the tent, but it worked out okay. The host wasn’t super responsive, but we did appreciate being able to check out late, which was a nice touch. Overall, the experience was good and we gave it five stars.

Weekend Trip to Hoppensteadt Hills
I had a wonderful weekend at Mary Ann's property. I was in the Birch site which was very private, with lots of trees. There was a place to hang my hammock and the yurt was very comfortable. Have a beautiful trails to walk on, and I could hear lots of wildlife. Marianne was very warm and welcoming and can't think of one single complaint.

We absolutely had a marvelous camping weekend at Maryam‘s land. The whole family is so friendly if you want to connect. There are four sites far enough apart, where you feel like you’re the only ones there, with an occasional friendly noise further away. Our anxious dog had the best time exploring and felt very safe being away from our suburban neighborhood. They clearly take good care of their land, they even have the most beautiful and delicious Honeycrisp apple farm – do yourself a favor and buy a bag on your way out. The Porta potty is the cleanest one I’ve ever been in. Ever. Smells great, Maryam said they switch it out every week, there’s even a mirror in there and it’s always fully stocked. It was a highlight! There are beautiful paths to explore – plenty of quiet time in the canopy of woods to read, play games, cook over the fire. Having the large, clean tent already set up made the weekend a bonus! We could fit 1 queen sized air mattress, 2 cots, and still had plenty of space for our stuff. We had a wonderful weekend – we’ll be back and will recommend to others!

Camping here was an amazing experience, the trails are beautiful and so is the campsite itself. It was very private and clean. Staying here gave me a sense of solitude my wife and I were looking for to get away from our hectic lives!

Lovely campsite and lovely property! Having the tent already set up was perfect for one night with two 6 year olds. The fire pit is in really rough shape and we had to create a rock barrier to be able to have a fire safely but other than that everything was great.

Beautiful property. Lots of wildlife. There was an owl that kind of scared us because it was so close, but that was pretty cool.
The mosquitoes weren't too bad. There's swimming adhd other adventures near by. Would definitely camp here again.

Cute campsite! Private, and well off the road. Easy distance to interstate st park to do some hiking. Has a tent, fire ring, and picnic table and was exactly what we needed.

Weekend Trip to Rising Sun Farm And Orchard
We had the most lovely stay on Lindsey’s farm! The yurt was cozy and safe during a sudden thunderstorm. We enjoyed wandering the land and seeing all of the vegetables, orchard, and animals. I absolutely recommend staying at Rising Sun Farm!

Maryam is such a lovely host! I’ve camped here twice and thoroughly enjoyed my experiences. The yurt is in excellent condition, the porta-potty is clean, and the campsite location is near some beautiful hiking areas. Highly recommend!!
