A great river for kayak trips. The Wayne Kinderhook horse and hiking trail is roughly 5 miles from our location. This is also a great home base for dual sport or adventure bike motorcycle riders to camp while adventuring along gravel roads through Appalachia. From steep ascents to long flat ridge lines, you will have lots of time to immerse yourself with nature while hiking. This is a 12.5 acre mini farm. We have a garden, bee hive, 30 fruit trees, bamboo, hard wood trees, 4 wheeler trails, a pig, guinea fowl, chickens, ducks, turkeys, cats, and dogs. We are working on a site for a single meat cow too! We have 2 sites, 1 is a trailer and 1 is a camping spot/cabin on top of our mountain. The cabin up there was built in the 60-70’s probably and is a total mess. People are welcome to stay in it if they choose. There is plenty of area for multiple tents near the cabin. The trailer is a basic 1990’s trailer. Everything works in it. There is a furnace, 2 full size beds, a full kitchen and bath. There is a window AC for hot days.

Amazing campground, and Austin & Kate were awesome. Highly recommend whether it's hot or cold, this place takes care of you. And be sure to just buy their wood for your fires, it's cheaper than Kroger, and it burns way longer. Can't wait to bring my kids here, they'd have an absolute blast. Weekend Trip to Woody Acres

A nice Hipcamp done exceptionally well. The Stargazer site is next to the owners driveway but don’t let that stop you. Their property is quiet and peaceful with well maintained walking trails and a great privy. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed talking with the owners and getting to visit with their cat. It was a perfect evening in a location with many parks in the area.

Weekend Trip to Ohio Enchanted Forest

We loved camping out here! They provided basic everything you could think of. Flashlights, cutlery, extra blankets, extra water, firewood, candles, you name it! They even have cooking equipment and spices available. We arrived later than anticipated the first night and they had started a fire for us ahead of time in the wood stove. It got down to about 35⁰ one night and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! That combined with the candles made it all super cozy. We didn't hear or see another soul the entire time we were out there, but we did see plenty of wildlife. Overall it was a wonderful experience! Would definitely recommend!!

We loved camping here on top of the ridge! The site was beautiful, private, and with the UTV service was easy to access and transport our gear. The host was very responsive and kind, and was an excellent host. He got us more firewood when we needed it and even offered us farm fresh eggs. The bike trails near by were also excellent and provided a very fun weekend.

We loved camping at Hilltop over Halloween weekend. We went hiking in Hocking Hills on Saturday and had trick or treaters and decorated and won the best decorated contest! Karen was very thoughtful and had breakfast on Saturday morning. The only thing that I would change is the site itself. Some weren’t level but we adjusted our camper to be level. Bath house was great and clean with showers. We loved the dog park all fenced in at the top.

Very nice! Cabin was tidy and absolutely lovely for the price it was. It stayed warm all night even with how cold it was. The property was beautiful, plenty of firewood and interesting stuff to see. The owners were very kind! Cows were adorable, and their dog was sweet too. Definitely keep any pets close, because we heard a bunch of coyotes right on the ridge! We got steaks from their little store, which were also great and priced very well. Overall a great trip, just wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing time! Land was beautiful, we could make all the noise we wanted without bothering other campers. Dogs were running free. Stars were beautiful. Bathroom was clean, solar shower was cold but surprisingly nicer than expected! They had all the firewood we needed (which was a lot). We weren’t too far from hiking. We would absolutely camp here again.
