Our trailer even got a flat tire the day we tried to leave and him and his friend helped us change the tire before leaving that day. We will stay here again!"

Good food and great beer go hand in hand throughout the summer in Leavenworth. Leavenworth offers delicious authentic German food and traditional German beer. There are some great breweries in town and wine tasting opportunities if beer isn't for you. Visit Lake Wenatchee State Park which is approximately 5 miles from Bear Acres. The lake is surrounded by mountains and is an excellent place for fishing, swimming, boating, and hiking. Explore Icicle Creek, which is not only a beautiful area to explore but offers a range of trailheads to various hiking trails. If you're really feeling adventurous, try hiking the popular and beautiful Enchantments. Whitewater rafting on the Wenatchee River is one of the most popular things to do in Leavenworth. The peak season is between May and June, while you’ll find a somewhat more relaxed experience throughout the rest of the summer. Nestled in the Cascade Mountain Range along the Pacific Crest Trail, summertime at Stevens Pass is full of activities. From hiking the Cowboy Mountain Nature Trail to an 18-hole disc golf course to mountain biking, there is something for everyone. With a variety of trails, mountain biking at Stevens Pass is suited for both beginner riders and the experienced biker. If enjoying the views is more your speed, enjoy one of the resort’s scenic chairlift rides.
