My husband & I put a lot of blood sweat & tears into making this a place our kids would enjoy during our weekend vacations to Leavenworth. We love hiking & there are a ton of nearby hikes. Despite it being located on the other side of the train tracks, we always seem to have a good time. We hope you enjoy it too! Learn more about this land: Outdoor enthusiast will enjoy this glamp spot! Utilize the dry cabin equipped with two twin size beds, a pullout couch bed, a dining table with 4 chairs & extra seating. With plenty of space outdoors, feel free to pitch a tent or bring your RV for friends! It is a dry cabin meaning there is no running water. We have it powered with a solar panel which should give enough electricity to charge phones & lights as needed. There is also an outhouse with a compost bucket if you'd like to use that. The downside to this lovely parcel is it's on the opposite side of the train tracks, so there will be occasional noise. Maybe it adds to the uniqueness? Just keep that in mind as once in a blue moon, the train does stop so you may be stuck for a few minutes. Oh & those power lines sometimes make a crackling noise. Sometimes we notice it & other times we don't. Now that we got that out of the way, the pros are it's a great place to explore. There are a ton of nearby hikes. This spot is in between Stevens Pass & the famous Alps candy store, with each being about 15 mins away. There is a gas station/convenient store, a few diners, and a rest stop within 5 minutes. Historical Leavenworth is about 20 mins.  There is a spot for campfires, a small 2 burner propane stove & an ice chest for your convenience, but you will need to bring the propane.

The kitchen offers all of your kitchen needs(minus running water from the faucet). Also, in the cabin you’ll find a smart speaker to hook up to, two African djembe drums, a ukulele and an Australian didgeridoo. Let your musical side come on out! Note: There is no running water on site or septic system. Bring your own drinking water or filter from the river. Water is available in town as well. A porta potty is centered between the camping site and the cabin site. Generously portioned bundles of firewood including kindling are for purchase located under the cute A-frame structure near outhouse. Bring your food, water, camp chairs, bug spray, swimsuits, water toys and all your essentials for having a lovely camping and outdoor experience in one of the most beautiful areas of Washington State. Enjoy the lovely walking trails on the back 3 acres of the property. Please take your trash and recycle and clean up after your doggies. Secure your food items so as to not attract wildlife or bears. Andrea is amazing. She is very welcoming and the place is wonderful. There is alot of thought put into each cabin, rv etc, we felt like we found a goldmine!! The view was beautiful, and all the lighting was perfect!! The river was a 2 minute walk. The bathrooms were so clean and accessible!! And dont forget the Sandbar tavern!! Great beer and atmosphere! We were so excited they had cribbage boards!!! Overall a wonderful experience! Can't wait to go back!!! Thank you

This forest retreat was adorable! Cedar River has everything you need to have a good time from string lights to the trail nearby. Site felt secluded with plenty of us to set up tents alongside the cabin. We especially loved the bonus experience of live music and food up at the main house for the Forest Session with Kurt Lindsay. Definitely worth it.

Our first Hipcamp experience and it was amazing! My favorite things about the site was the river and easy access to it, the forest and little trails, the privacy and the location is ideal. My favorite things about the cabin was how clean and comfortable the bed was, how clean inside and no bugs, the comfy futons, the convenience of everything supplied and the wood stove. The host was responsive and nice, clearly they love their little house. We'd had a reservation at another site but they had to cancel and I'm so glad it worked out the way it did. It was rainy and cold but we were toasty and happy until the sun came back. Perfect little camping spot for the PNW!

Cedar River Cabin was just what we needed to ring in the last weekend of summer! The hosts are amazing and were very patient with my pregnancy brain messing up the code to get into the cabin 😂. The land is beautiful and they have everything you could need! I packed way too much! Brittany really takes care of her guests. My dogs loved the property too! There was no shortage of sniffing for them! We can’t wait to come back as a family of 4!

Weekend Trip to Pipe Lake Cabin

I just stayed 2 nights over the weekend with my daughter and dog. The cabin was perfect for our needs. It's comfortable, clean,.and better stocked than expected with microwave, toaster, etc. and several blankets. We enjoyed the dock and tried out the kayaks. I was glad to have brought life jackets and a long cable leash which helped us positition the kayaks on the water and also kept the youth kayak connected to mine. A camping shower came in handy for rinsing after. The place felt private enough but it did get pretty noisy down the lake with sounds of a late-rising rooster, lots of cheering, laughing, loud music and some questionable singing 😄

Beautiful property, right on the river, awesome views adorable cabins each thoughtfully planed. Andrea communicates extremely well and is very friendly. We felt like guests not customers. Private beach access great spot for swimming or water activities. We saw lots of eagles and wildlife. Andrea provided so many amenities, including kayaks. Make sure to visit the sandbar tavern right across the street, so whimsical and fun! We are already planning our next trip.

3 nights at Cedar River Retreat

This place is incredible! It’s so well maintained. I was impressed by the lack of spiderwebs on the cabin. 😜 And as others have mentioned, it smells lovely inside. My favorite features were by far the wind phone and community cabinet. We painted rocks and then forgot to leave them there so I’m sure we’ll be back to drop those off. Access to Cedar River Trail is easy and it takes just a few minutes to hop over to Cascadia Pizza or the market. We had fun playing a hot wheels treasure hunt but a few were never found. So have fun to whomever comes next! 😆 Host was super easy to contact with any questions along the way and I’d absolutely return here again. For us, this retreat (just 17 minutes away from home) was exactly what we needed. Highly recommend this gem to anyone who wants a little break from everyday life. Cell service was great but not internet. But you wouldn’t want to use those things here anyways. Thanks again Brittany!

Absolutely lovely little cabin with amazing access to the lake! It was so cozy and had so many great accessories and additions to make our time enjoyable. We especially loved the puzzles, board games and DVDs! The cooking applicances and kitchenware made it so we didn't have to pack anything of our own, we just bought food at the Safeway 10 minutes away. Our dog absolutely loved jumping off the dock right into the lake with us, and we took her to various dog friendly parks in the area in the day time. Would highly recommend for couples of any age

The little cabin was very private and quaint plus a perfect place to bring your dog. There are many extra ammenities the host provides: water dispenser, propane for stove, firewood and fire starters. We found fun surprises inside as well as in the forest nearby. My grandkids and I felt very safe. The location was also quiet and peaceful. We will be returning!

Cedar River Retreat is my pup’s and my favorite! We visit the tent site and the cabin multiple times a year. Brittany is always so kind, friendly, and responsive. I’m so happy to have shared this relaxing oasis with my family! They remarked on the amenities and extras available that I’ve always appreciated about CRR. We had a few other friends join just for the day and there was plenty of room for everyone to stretch their legs and enjoy the large outdoor space. Another 5 star stay at CRR on the books!
