*Returning Guests please message me for a discount.*  Willow Creek Retreat is a private nature retreat situated on a farmstead on the West Plains of Spokane County, conveniently located 5 minutes from the Spokane International Airport. Situated on 20 acres with abundant trees and a year round creek dappled

with wildflowers. Boasting shaded camp sites, abundant bird songs and bird watching opportunities including blue heron, hawks, great horned owl, quail, ducks, turkeys, pheasants, and creek full of frogs for the kids to catch and friendly horses to watch. Each evening, listen to the coyotes howl, the owls hoot, crickets chirp, frogs croak (in spring/early summer) and the gentle ambling of the occasional short train that crosses the track on the nearby spur. Willow Creek Retreat is a great place for a camp reunion, families wanting to get their kids into nature, fall bird hunting or a romantic country get away.

The Old Weber Farm

Owned the last 100 years by only two families. The Weber family was the last to own and operate the farm for over 60 years. House was built in 1917 and the barn was added in 1925. Legend has it Bing Crosby sang in the barn himself after a long summer bucking bales in Cheney.
We are close to Turnbull Wildlife Park and a few local fishing lakes: badger lake, williams lake, and amber lake.  The town of Cheney is a great place to stock up and bicycle the fish lake trail.

Enjoy sunrise and sunset on the farm's expansive horizon. We have been farming for over 135 years and want to share our idyllic, serene space with you. We have a fully plumbed bathroom (toilet, sink, shower) for your use. Get off the grid (with wifi access if you want) and relax without the hustle and bustle of city life.

Learn more about this land:Tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac but close to the action, our RV Site is conveniently located halfway between the Moses Lake Mud Flats and Sand Dunes (approx. 3 miles) and the Moses Lake Surf 'N Slide water park (approx. 3 miles).  7 minutes to the I-90 exit. Less than 2 miles from Moses Lake public boat launch. Water and 30 amp outlet.  Plenty of street parking for boat, ATV, or other toys.

Come and enjoy the big sky and open spaces on our Central Washington homestead. From your campsite, you will be able to sit and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets and view of the Cascade Mountains to the West. At night you will only need to look up into the sky to clearly spot millions of stars. You will also be given farm fresh eggs to enjoy with a meal.

On our homestead, you will see chickens and goats. If in season, you can explore the garden.  Enjoy the walking trail right on our property or ride your bikes. Kids will have plenty of room to run, play, and picnic. Children are also welcome to set up their own tent for a night of parent-free fun.

There is plenty of space if you bring your equestrian friends with you.  Just bring your portable corral with you. :) 

With a short drive, you will find seasonal hunting, fishing, biking, hiking (Beezley Hill) , lakes, golf, mini golf, water park, bowling, and a good selection of restaurants. There are also two Walmarts nearby for any of your needs.

A little farther and you will find natural pools at Potholes State Park, Soap Lake, Coulee Dam, and Lake Lenore Caves.

Interesting fact: Our homestead is located on the McConihe Flats. 1200 years ago the Sinkiuse Indians would meet on the McConihe Flats and trade. They would also collect things along the shore of the lake such, as duck eggs and reeds, which are still around today.

We are conveniently located between Moses Lake and Ephrata Washington. Only 12 minutes from either town where you can find Walmart, other stores, and resturants for all your needs.

Sprague Lake Resort

The Campground and RV Park, located on Sprague Lake, just 36 miles west of Spokane, WA along I-90 and only 2 miles out of the town of Sprague, on a quiet paved road. (See our map) We are normally open from April to the end of October.

At Sprague Lake Resort, you can enjoy some of the best shore Fishing on the lake. The Resort is surrounded by springs that make this THE dock fishing spot for big (and tasty) Trout, Steelhead and even Bass. Sprague Lake is also known for it's big Channel Cats!

If fishing isn't your thing, you can Camp or just picnic and relax under the big old Cottonwoods that shade our park. Bird watchers can enjoy sightings of White Pelicans, Meadowlarks, Cormorants, Loons, Wood Ducks and many other species.

In our park under the trees, we have plenty of tent camping space and 31 full service hookups for your recreational vehicles. The endless shoreline offers a wonderful view from every RV or Camping site.

Peterson Lake Ranch

Working Cattle Ranch. Lush spring green pastures. Crab Creek running through property. I still can't decide if I like the sunrise or the sunset more. Come camp and enjoy the peaceful environment.

Behind the kids next to a water trough is a frost free water faucet. We use Y's on our campers to run from one to the next off this. 

Cloverdale Ranch Country Skies

Cloverdale Ranch is home base for the healing hooves of our large herd of goats. Our does started kidding (i.e. mama goats giving birth) May 9th and will continue into June. Watching them cavort in the pasture is a delight. We manage 200+ goats every summer, essential to providing natural vegetation management to manage weeds, reduce fire fuels and recycle carbon back into the soil. We love our dark skies and open horizons, and we want to share them with you. We have shaded tent sites in our windbreak with beautiful sunset views and access to a classic sheepherders wagon for additional shelter. The Bunkhouse is a work in progress, and a great deal this first summer.

Country Lane Campground & RV Pa

Purchased by my parents in 2009 with only 6 RV sites,

Country Lane Campground and RV Park now has 37 Full Hook Up RV Sites and a handful of dry camping/tent areas. Unfortunately due to the expanding business and time consumption we have decided to close our Cafe. With the closure we have expanded our onsite store to include Camping, Fishing, Hunting, Propane, RV Supplies and Boating items, along with snacks and other small items. We have also expanded our laundry room to include much larger commercial machines for all your washing needs.

Standard Oil Fuel Depot

Stay in a place where history fuels adventure! Once an early 1900s fuel depot, this rare landmark has been thoughtfully reimagined as a rustic campsite. Explore a relic of Americana by day, then gather by the fire under starry skies at night. More than a stopover, it’s a place where the past lingers in the air, and every guest becomes part of its story.

The deer is enjoying an area where a tent, trailer, or RV may be placed.

The Ranch

Property has gravel and hardpan dirt to put an RV/trailer or tent to view and access the desert, and see the beautiful sunrise and sunset as well as the starry night sky without lights or trees interfering.  

The property backs up to Dept of Natural Resources Land, which is accessible by hiking in only (no motor vehicles or ATVs).   There is a trail on property and many miles of gravel roads available for biking.

Indoor bathroom inside our home is available as needed.  Well Water available by hose to fill containers or tanks as needed.

Mountain bikes recommended (no motor bikes/ATVs allowed).

Campfires are not allowed.  

There are many lakes for fishing within driving distance.

This is desert land, so it has natural desert animals, such as rattlesnakes and coyotes.  Please be aware and be prepared.  Dogs need to be watched or on leash at all times.

We will have gate open at 3 pm on the date you are scheduled to arrive.

Here is one area you can camp close to the house.  Anywhere on 40 acres is fine.

Sunset in the winter is also wonderful to see.

Our home is off-grid.  There will be potable water available, if needed.


Yonder Hills Disc Golf and Camping


The property, aptly named the Oasis years ago, is 34-acres of lawns, shade trees, ponds, and natural landscaping over 50 years in the making. The landscaping was started by Tom who still lives in the farmhouse. The Schierman family has owned this property for four generations. The Oasis is located in the rolling hills of the Palouse in eastern Washington State.

The newly created Yonder Hills Disc Golf Course is a private 18 and 9-basket course with long and short pads for almost every basket. A mix of open lawn, wooded fairways, water hazards, and elevation changes. Day, overnight or weekly reservations must be made to enjoy this private course. 

The disc golf course is under construction with some layout changes on the last three baskets. It's playable but it isn't perfect yet. We had to shift focus to the barn restoration grant to meet the June 2025 deadline.

This is a perfect basecamp to relax and unwind or be creative. Read in the lawn. Cook over the fire. Explore the Palouse. Disc golf anytime.

Guests may bring their own private fire pits. Firewood is provided for the community fire pit.

Yonder Hills can be reserved for larger group camps and private camping events. There is plenty of room for several vehicles and tailgate camping.

There are no dedicated electrical hookups, sewage hookups, or potable water available at this time. Bottled or bulk water is available in in St. John five miles away. Electrical outlets in the gravel parking area can be used to charge small devices. 

We are constantly upgrading the property, look forward to better amenities as we grow.

St. John has a bar/restaurant, grocery store, hardware stores, gas station, 2 hotel rooms, library, coffee and gift shops as well as a very nice 9-hole traditional golf course. There are numerous small towns, lakes, rivers/creeks, backroads, viewpoints, and historic stops around the Palouse region as well as amazing photography year round. Come for the abundant stars, the fall colors and brisk air, to socialize with other travelers, or to find the peace of the Palouse country.

Farming land with nice solitude with access to main road and I-90. Food and  shopping only 10 miles away. Enjoy secluded night under the stars or nice party.

Blended Roots farms

Blended Roots Farms is on 10 acres in Cheney Washington with a nice view to the valley and Mountains. 10 minutes from downtown spokane, 10 minutes from dt cheney and 5 minutes to i-90. Fish lake is also less than 10 minutes from the property, and a fun lake to fish, play and a trail above to hike. The camp spots are spacious, comfortable and not too close to each other! Come get comfortable and enjoy your stay!!
