You will also find a wood firepit and chairs available for use right beside your site. Please bring your own wood to, or feel free to purchase wood through this listing. Also feel free to enjoy the covered seating area alongside the west side of the barn, overlooking the animals, gardens and expansive valley view!
We are also situated less than a 10-minute drive away from an easily accessible dump station in Port Ludlow, on the way to the Hood Canal Bridge.
Please understand that we are a working farm that hosts businesses and other visitors. You will most likely see us and perhaps other guests during your stay! Our home is further down the driveway (to the south of the barn) and we have land mates and an Airbnb unit attached to our house. You will likely hear the sounds of farm projects, animals and people at times. We also live off the busy Beaver Valley road, making us an ideal location for access to the greater Peninsula, but also please know that you may notice road noise at times during your stay with us. We are not in a remote area that is completely silent - we are a bustling farm in a happening place. If you are seeking somewhere very remote without a lot of noise, projects or people coming and going, our site is sadly not for you. At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested areas. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Jefferson Land Trust and collaborative partners purchased the easement to Insure Glendale farm maintains agricultural practices and wildlife habitat forever! Please be aware this is a working farm with poultry, livestock, and the use of farm equipment providing a great experience for farm life.
Glendale Farm experienced a devastating loss in 2022 when the primary residence burned down. Since then, we have been engaged in a long-term restoration effort, including extensive cleanup from an extreme hoarding situation.
Please wear sturdy shoes at all times, as we are still carefully removing glass and other sharp debris from parts of the property. You may encounter old farm equipment, a few derelict RVs, and other remnants of the site's history as we continue this work.
We appreciate your patience as we gradually improve the farm with future showers, a communal kitchen, gathering spaces, and enhanced landscaping. Your stay directly supports these ongoing improvements.

We visited for one night with a 10.5’ tall camper van rented from Cabana, which fit easily under the shelter with plenty of clearance. The shelter itself is a great spot to get outside and eat a meal, and the rocking chairs in the yard were chill too! An occasional loud truck will go by on the nearby road, but not bad. We slept fine. Walk to Finnriver Cidery for dinner (yum)"

This is a working farm, we have animals, dirt, sticks, bugs, poop, and lots of opportunities to "connect" with Nature. All of our amenities are shared spaces, designed to foster community. You will find signs posted around the property with clear communication. All of our lodgings are off-grid with no electricity or running water. Water, electricity, and WIFI are available in the shared kitchen, garden, cafe, and lounging areas. Please bring battery-operated lights, bedding, and a pillow, unless otherwise noted.

Feel any stress or anxiety you might have escape you, as you make your way down into this little river valley. As you glance over to you're right, you see the constant flow of crystal clear water cutting its way through the forest. Continuing your descent into this sanctuary among the trees, your path opens up into a clearing surrounded by a stand of towering evergreens. This camp above the river serves as your perfect hideaway where you can rest and recharge.
On this, a little over two acres of riverfront land, there is a circle drive that loops along the edge of a clearing, giving access to 3 unique sites. These sites are tucked away with a comfortable amount of wooded space between them. At the center of this loop, there is a shared space to enjoy if you choose. This can be a nice space to gather for a meal at the large picnic table or have a game in the grass. There is also a large firepit that can be inviting to stand around and enjoy each other's company.
The river is what really makes this property special. You will have access to a private stretch of river, just steps away from the camp area. A short trail takes you down to a level landing just above the river with plenty of space to gather. A few more steps down and you can dip your feet in the cool water that has made its way down from the Olympic Mountains.
Each site is equipped with its own parking spot, firepit, and level areas for a tent or two. Besides the river, there is no running water or other utilities. There is access to a portable restroom that is a short distance from the campsites. There is additional parking near the entrance if you have a second vehicle, or if you have a small camper trailer to leave at the site and need a place to park your vehicle.
Another major benefit to this property is its general location. Stay and enjoy the camp to its fullest or use it as your home base and go explore the Olympic Peninsula. There are multiple hiking trails nearby in the Olympic National Park and nearby State Parks. You can also find yourself at multiple beaches that are only minutes away. If you enjoy a swim, there are also multiple lakes within minutes of the property.
The small town of Quilcene is just a few minutes away and offers a couple little stores, a gas station, restaurants, a laundromat, post office, and a National Park Ranger Station. The historic town of Port Townsend is approximately 30 minutes away. You can also enjoy the incredibly beautiful drive down Highway 101 as it navigates along the edge of the Hood Canal.

Dun Tun is a 5-acre working smallhold we are assisting back to a healthier level. We have animals, plants and people contributing to improving the soil and biodiversity. You may see our meadows high and full of wildflowers or cut short for our animal's benefit. Both make for excellent views from our campsites.
2026 update! We welcome Tio and Rosie, our two new livestock guardian dogs, to the DunTun this year. They are still puppies and learning their jobs so please keep all pets on leashes and away from livestock areas. Our sheep, goats and dogs are on pasture during the day, inside electric fences, so please use caution and keep your pets and kids safe. We have also installed a perimeter fence around the back four acres but please continue to keep pets on leash for their safety and the safety of our animals.
We built a new shelter for the compartment toilet for added privacy and weather protection in 2024!
We are expanding our farm stand, in addition to eggs you will now find seasonal produce, firewood when fires are permitted and souvenirs made by folks who live and work on our farm.
Both campsites are unimproved spots in our future silvopasture food forest. Located on the "back four" acres of our property, they're surrounded by trees and seclusion. We back to a small airport and are near a main road and you will probably hear traffic. Both campsites have trees and space protecting them from views of people or development. We improved our road in 2022 so bring your vehicle with no worries.
We're just outside of the busy part of Port Townsend and close to farms, beaches and historic sites. Go into town for festivals, restaurants and the farmer's market. Chimacum, just two miles away, has several nice restaurants, breweries and farms that offer tours. We're two miles from restaurants, hardware stores and a grocery store in Port Hadlock.
We're just 45 minutes from Olympic National Park and 2 hours to the Olympic Peninsula Coast so we're a great stop over.

We made this last-minute reservation to escape the wildfire smoke, and we’re so glad we did! The location was perfect for sightseeing in the area, and we even took the ferry over to Seattle.
This Hipcamp was perfect for our three-night stay. Our site was level, there was a nice grassy area between the sites and a table with two chairs, and having full hookups was a huge plus. We had plenty of room to back in our 36-foot Class A motorhome and still park our Jeep next to it.
The owners were friendly, helpful, and available whenever we had a question. The entire property was very clean, peaceful, and quiet. One of our favorite things was watching the deer that came to visit every day!
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in the area. Highly recommend, especially for fellow RV travelers!

We enjoyed our stay at peaceful Olympic peninsula rv camp. We were greeted by the host, who was very friendly, and welcoming. The spot we reserved was quaint and had full hookups, and a grassy area with a picnic table. We loved the wild life. There were rabbits, squirrels and deer. We definitely would stay here again.

This was an amazing stay at this Hipcamp! Cindy and Bob were wonderful hosts—welcoming, personable, and friendly throughout our visit. Their beautiful property is well-maintained and provides a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.
Access to the property was easy, and there was plenty of room to maneuver and park my 35-foot fifth wheel. My campsite was quaint, well-groomed, and offered the perfect balance of comfort and privacy.
One of the highlights of our stay was being greeted each morning and evening by a resident deer and her fawns. A tip for future guests: bring a few fresh apples to share. If you keep pets quiet and remain calm and non-threatening, the deer may wander right up to your site. We enjoyed watching them while tossing out a few cut-up apple slices.
I highly recommend this location, whether you're looking for a convenient home base to explore the area or simply seeking a quiet escape to relax and unwind.

They were very helpful when our car window was stuck in the open position offering us plastic and cardboard to fix the window temporarily. And the dogs 😍.

Nice, clean and simple RV camp spot. I was thinking it would have a feel of being in an industrial park, but surprisingly it felt like we were in the country. Perfectly situated to hide the industrial structures. Bonus to have 4 nice individual bathrooms, clean and fully stocked? each with a full shower. We will definitely be back, maybe rent some bikes and explore those trails. It was just a quick little overnight stay for us, in town to visit family, but a great spot! Thanks Jeff and crew!!!

Loved Timber's land at Raven Ridge. They did a fantastic job of spacing out the campsites around a communal kitchen that has everything you need for cooking a wholesome meal. The hot shower was refreshing and bathroom was clean and well organized. Appreciate their care of environment and the wild garden set up adds to the vibes. Near enough to Quilcene for convenience and modern amenities and ferry connectivity in Port Townsend or Kingston makes this a great location to explore the area.

Nice, shaded, and isolated-from-neighbors spot for camping with FULL HOOKUPS! Best thing is that it is located not far from the gorgeous and pristine Lake Cushman, but also many wonderful hiking trails.
Despite the temps being in the 90's, we had a great vacay!
The hosts were informative and helpful. It's awesome that they provide you with a beach pass.
