2 nights at Marine View Drive In-City Oasis

I enjoyed Steve’s space. It was perfect for a 20’ camper van. Steve was kind and very responsive. The space was exactly as it was described. I would definitely recommend this space to someone looking to visit the SEATAC area. I felt safe and secure leaving my vehicle on Steve’s land.

Kambria was a lovely hostess, she made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The horses next door were a joy to look at. The spot is quiet and peaceful, no traffic, lots of stars at night. Cherry Falls trail is near by, we had a great time hiking it and seeing the waterfall. Having the fenced pasture next to our camper was great for the dogs. Plenty of power, water and private space for a low price. We will definitely be back!

Such a treat to stay at this location! Where to stay, amenities, and each part of this location worked well. Amenities listed are accurate. Weekend Trip to Heron's Rookery at Yakima River

The spot was clean, level and easy to get in to. The host was responsive to my questions. Right on the river and a quiet country road to walk on. It was just my dog and myself and I felt safe there. Recommend!

Weekend Trip to Ravensdale Garden RV Camp

We just got back from a night on Tyler’s land. What an absolute gem!! The location is absolutely beautiful, the site was spotless, and the communication was great. There was wood waiting for the fire pit and the use of the Traeger under the gazebo was an added bonus. You feel very secluded even though you are close to town and restaurants. The walkability was great and we even saw a dinosaur on our evening walk. We will definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Big Valley, very peaceful and quiet. Directions were clear and great communication from the host! We also enjoyed the disc golf course just across the road!

Weekend Trip to Blue Mist Farm

The views were beautiful and relaxing. Very quiet. Definitely a great place to go for our first time with our trailer. We were able to hook up to their power and water. We had our dog and his senses were out of control being out by farmlands but we couldn’t smell anything.

5 nights at Green Apple Alpacas

This is a great camping spot: beautiful, roomy with friendly, hospitable hosts. We had a wonderful time there. We were there for 6 nights in our 29ft travel trailer. Our grandchildren came to visits and got to meet the alpacas, sheep and chickens and feed carrots to those that eat them- they had a fun time!! Kandi and Mark were extremely helpful throughout our stay. One note- if you’re coming in a longer rig, coming up the street to turn onto their property from the South has much more space to make the turn than from the North.

Weekend Trip to Green Apple Alpacas

This was such a fun trip for my wife, our dog and I to start our camping season off right. I got to walk an Alpaca! We met all of the animals on the farm, which included feedings and seeing their personalities. Kandi and Mark even allowed us to let our dog run off leash in one of the empty pastures to get his energy out. He loved all the new smells and we loved all the treats from right there. Thank you for opening your farm to hipcamp users like us for something unique.

We had a wonderful time at the alpaca farm with my kids! Mark and Candy’s property is absolutely beautiful, and the alpacas—especially Skippy—were hilarious. It was the perfect little staycation during spring break, and it truly felt like we were disconnected from everything. We also picked up some of their homemade goodies—the chocolate chip cookies were devoured by my kids in no time, and the sourdough bread and fresh farm eggs were absolutely A+. I couldn't recommend this spot enough, and I’d gladly return in the future.

Weekend Trip to City Scape Homestead

I booked this spot at the last minute for a weekend in Seattle and loved how close it was to the city center and airport. The instructions provided were clear and I found Ana’s place easily. Ana is a friendly and kind host and made sure that I had what I needed to feel comfortable/acquainted with the property. The parking pad has a wooden gate on the side, which provides a sense of privacy from the street. I camped in my rooftop tent and felt safe during my stay. There can be some noise from the planes flying over or loud cars driving by on the highway, but the earplugs that Ana provided helped me sleep well both nights. Overall great urban stay and would return and recommend to others!

We had a fantastic time! The farm cat (we didn’t know its name so we just it Mr. (Or Mrs?) Black. He kept guard for us all night and would occasionally take a break for a pet on the back.

10 acre homestead on the outskirts of downtown North Bend at the base of Mt. Si. Breathtaking view of the mountain, peaceful pastures, amazing wildlife. Walk or ride to all the charm of Downtown North Bend (0.7 miles), The Snoqualmie River (0.5 miles) or The Snoqualmie Trail (0.5 miles). Close to Rattlesnake Lake (6.5 miles) and a huge variety of hiking trails. The farm is regularly visited by elk. During the spring and summer there are usually cows, cats, and two working dogs on the property. Hollow Tree Campsite is private, located on the far side of the pasture, next to a seasonal creek (dry in the summer). Glencove pasture and forest trails

The place has been farmland since about 1926. It became a family horse property with three pastures and now is a small lavender and blackberry farm. While it is limited to two RV sites, there may be farm visitors walking arond the area. Tall cedars and fir remain in the back of the property and provide for a forest experience. It is not a commercial campground. We are now turning it into a small lavender farm. About half of th original pasture is now covered in black ground mat and 3,000 newly planted lavender. Learn more about this land: One acre pasture for dry RV camping (no restroom facilities). There is a potable water/hose bib and an auxilliary 110 volt 15 amp AC connection via extension cord from barn. You should rely primarily on your own power. Walking trails are in cedar trees and on hill across 10 acres with flower fields and blackberry "farm". Free blackberry picking in season (August and Early September). Deer, racoons, foxes, bald eagles and occassional coyote on site. Keep food and trash secure. No toilet or sewer available. There is one portable "porta potty" type facility. Two solidly built swing sets, with slides, one with an enclosed fort on top, climbing area, kids picnic table underneath. A picnic table and chairs sit nearby for parents to enjoy. A large vintage terrazzo semi-circular classic washfountain. The parking lot is behind trees, approx 50 ft from the main road which has regular daily traffic and noise driving by at the top of the site. It quiets down after work in the evenings. The parking area can only be located there, in order to maintain the ecology of Ames Creek. The entrance is down through either of two driveways from the main road, on a horseshoe loop drive-through, to the L-shaped parking lot. Tent camping is 4 to 6 total soft pads in the forest near the parking sites. Note: Ames Creek does dry up in mid-summer. For large RVs maneuvering skills are required to park on the level 23 ft long parking pads in the parking area down the hill from the road. It is a U-shaped drive-through, flat at the bottom of the small driveway hill. Recent camper comments - "Love the campsite" "We had a great time" "We had fun exploring the trails" "The tent campsites are beautiful" "I now regret traveling 4+ hours to get to Hoh rainforest when we could’ve gotten to a similar experience less than 30 mins away" Cellphone signal strength reported by campers: + T-Mobile - 2 bars occasionally spotty + ATT - Strong/5G + Verizon - very good / LTE + Xfinity- connectivity Everyone who sees it remarks that this forest is beautiful. It has a main trail and many small pathways between ferns and hillocks. In an effort to preserve and protect this wild habitat, we have already planted 200 + Western Red Cedars, Douglas Firs, salal, snowberry, native current, and other native vegetation. This is a great private spot for an RV or similar vehicles and 2 tent circles. A firepit, and porta-potty next to each pad, another firepit in one of the 2 tent circles for each RV parking pad site. A completely natural untouched Pacific moss rainforest about 30 miles inland on the foothills of the Mount Baker–Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington State. Some areas it is likely no one has ever walked on. Bring mosquito repellent. Be aware of kids and dogs near road entrances, as well as near the creek in the winter. It is located near major fun sites, it is a wilderness playground! Ames Creek dries up mid-July and returns in Sept/Oct. There are a lot of little paths crisscrossing the creek, likely raccoon and deer trails. We are happy to have your dogs visit - they will love it! Please remember to bring an extension cord to access power. There are fire pits. When possible firewood is provided gratis in the woodshed. Many types of these birds - pied-billed Grebes, Bald Eagles, Osprey, Red-tailed Hawks, accipiters, Killdeer, woodpeckers, wrens, blackbirds, some ducks, chickadees, and other rare species are resident here. During spring and summer, warblers, rails, American Bittern, and sparrows can be quite common. Not the most walkable but just a short car ride from most things! (Downtown, Alki Beach, Georgetown, Airport) We live in an urban setting so you may encounter noise from nearby vehicles, airplanes, fire trucks, etc. This site can only accommodate camper vans or class c motor homes no larger than 25ft. Driver will need to backdown our long driveway to park in the designated site on the side of our house. Please no more than three people and one vehicle. We may be able to make accommodations based on your situation but please message us first! We can only accommodate towable rvs no larger than 20ft in total length including trailer tongue. You must be able to backdown long driveway and park tow vehicle on street. Campfires are welcome in the designated fire pit at the bottom of our hill.
