Welcome to The Landing at Index - located on the South Fork Skykomish River, in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains, off of Highway 2. With 16 acres of beautiful, private woods and breathtaking views of Mt. Index, this is a wonderful getaway to kick back and relax after your day of adventures, or just to escape the city rush. This is a gated property, protected with a code, which you will be sent 24 hours before your arrival. The campsites are at the bottom of a long logging road so an SUV or AWD vehicle are preferable , especially during the wetter seasons. When the property was logged approximately 100 years ago they scooped out gravel from the river to make their roads in the area thus creating the back eddy pool along the beach. A rather peaceful setting, including the rushing sound of the river and the occasional whistle of a train. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after you stay at The Landing. Pets are welcome, there are private outhouses at each campsite. These outhouses are protected with a code, which is sent to you 24 hours before your arrival. This camp site is very private and peaceful! We will be open from May 1st through September, 2026. We have a 3 night maximum stay per booking. The site can accommodate up to two RVs or 3-4 tents depending on the distance apart. We allow up to 6 people per booking. The firepit and the Snoqualmie River are about 150' away from your tent or RV. We have a porta-potti at the camp site and also two picnic tables. Pets are welcome at our HipCamp, but we do require that you clean up after them. Near North Bend there are several hiking/biking trails including the trail up Mt. Si., Si View Park, and the Rattlesnake Ridge trail system. For shoppers, we have shops in town and the Factory Outlet Mall. For dining, there are several restaurants in North Bend. PLEASE NOTE: CHECK IN TIME: 2:00-5:00 P.M. Our rate is $85 per night. We ask all drivers (cars, RVs, trailers, etc.) to back into the campsite. This will make for an easy exit. Thanks!! Eight minutes off SR 18 lies 11 acres of mostly undeveloped land. Dean's is a beautiful, bare-bones place to rest. Our main driveway is CLOSED this year for repairs. We have alternate arrival instructions for you after you book. These instructions add about 7 minutes (totaling 8 minutes) from SR 18 to the campground. Our location is convenient. We are just minutes from Auburn city limits. Road noise, planes, Pacific Raceways, and freight trains are audible here even if muffled by the trees. Our distant neighbors occasionally indulge in target shooting. We have a brand new neighborhood in construction on one of our property lines. In order to provide safety and peace, hosts live just outside the campground and closely manage happenings. All our sites have 2-4 persons occupancy in hopes of deterring parties. Our quiet hours are 8pm-8am so we can rest up for the next day’s adventures. Propane stoves are welcome during fire bans. We do not have a check in cut-off time. Reservations do need to be made before midnight. We have zero tolerance for hateful, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward people, belongings, and wildlife. The 40+ year old trees and distance between the campsites provides space for you to bring and create your own vibes. Hosts should only approach you with safety or quiet hour concerns. This time of year is magical with the dropping leafs and lush moss/fungus sightings. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick getaway from the city to connect to nature. This camp site is very private and peaceful! We will be open from May 1st through September, 2026. We have a 3 night maximum stay per booking. The site can accommodate up to two RVs or 3-4 tents depending on the distance apart. We allow up to 6 people per booking. The firepit and the Snoqualmie River are about 150' away from your tent or RV. We have a porta-potti at the camp site and also two picnic tables. Eight minutes off SR 18 lies 11 acres of mostly undeveloped land. Dean's is a beautiful, bare-bones place to rest. Our main driveway is CLOSED this year for repairs. We have alternate arrival instructions for you after you book. These instructions add about 7 minutes (totaling 8 minutes) from SR 18 to the campground. Our location is convenient. We are just minutes from Auburn city limits. Road noise, planes, Pacific Raceways, and freight trains are audible here even if muffled by the trees. Our distant neighbors occasionally indulge in target shooting. We have a brand new neighborhood in construction on one of our property lines. In order to provide safety and peace, hosts live just outside the campground and closely manage happenings. All our sites have 2-4 persons occupancy in hopes of deterring parties. Our quiet hours are 8pm-8am so we can rest up for the next day’s adventures. Propane stoves are welcome during fire bans. We do not have a check in cut-off time. Reservations do need to be made before midnight. We have zero tolerance for hateful, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward people, belongings, and wildlife. The 40+ year old trees and distance between the campsites provides space for you to bring and create your own vibes. Hosts should only approach you with safety or quiet hour concerns. We camped at Ascent Basecamp in mid October and enjoyed our stay that we booked again this last weekend in mid November despite the pouring rain each time because of the beautiful riverside setting and shared covered kitchen with the essential wood stove made it that cozy! The drive to experience the fall leaves and a visit to Leavenworth were calling! I actually loved the trains across the highway and the river sounds which drown out any traffic noise from the highway. The camp caretakers were all helpful and the sauna experience was great the second time after the wood was sorted.

Valhalla tree farm is beautiful and so serene. The different birds calling and talking through the sounds of trees moving in high winds, so good! The pup and I went exploring through the property and trails feeling like we were fully in Ferngully. Our shelter camp site on Huckleberry Hill was perfect. Dave clearly puts a lot of thought and care into providing the best experience. Not only was he communicative and responsive, but he was also accommodating. Thanks to the shelter at our site, we didn’t drown in the torrential downpour! This property is highly rated, the pup and I agree 💯

Instructions for arrival were great. We got to campsite after sunset, in the middle of rain, after hiking Colchuck Lake. Finding site was easy, and description is accurate. Was a little concerned about possibility of traffic noise, but Mark was spot on, you won’t hear a thing! Waking up the next morning to the sound of the river was awesome. Facilities were clean, and sauna looked very inviting. We will definitely be back, this site is surrounded by places we want to explore.
