6min from Steven’s Pass Resort, 1min to Scenic Hot Springs, 2min to Deception Falls, 2min walk from Iron Goat Trailhead and Cat skiing pickup! Just 45min from Leavenworth as well!

I would like to thank our many campers who came down from Canada and around the world to visit our small tract of tranquility.
We are a one hundred year old family owned farm with an organic garden, Permaculture garden, an apiary, and Christmas trees on six acres. We have horseshoes, tether ball, a small library and disc golf. Early spring the frogs go crazy later followed by the sounds of nesting birds. Fall is the season for migrating birds that rest at the ponds next door. August is the time to fill up on blackberries. There are individual campsites with a barbecue and picnic table and a shared fire pit. The fire pit didn't see much use last two years because of the fire danger so we have moved it to an open area that will be safer and hopefully be open longer, there is also an area at each campsite if you want to bring a propane fire ring (or we will have some for rent). I want to thank past campers for their suggestions, they have been tremendously valuable. We are becoming increasingly suburban and there is some road noise that can be heard and even with farms on three sides of us, you still might hear our neighbors in the distance. Campsites one and four are across the road from each other and campsites two and three are adjacent to each other, perfect if you have another family traveling with you. The Washington State Fair is 3.9 miles/ 13 minutes away, Tacoma Dome 7.5 miles/ 18 minutes, Point Defiance Park Zoo and Aquarium 19 miles/ 30 minutes and Wild Waves water park is 15 miles/ 26 minutes away. Eagles, hawks and Ospreys are frequent visitors to our property.

1 acre property, located approximately 5 miles from the hub of Port Orchard, and less than 2 miles from Banner Forest Recreational Park. All the neighbor's also have acreage, so it feels more spacious that the property lines show.😜 Forest/small farm land with campfire pit close by and available, as long as no "burn-ban" is in effect. Local, sandy beaches and docks within walking distance (2miles).
RV/camper/trailer site with electric plug in and garden hose water available. Dump stations within 5 miles of property. Must be checked in by 8pm. Check out is 12pm. Pets are allowed as long as they are friendly, and must be leashed as there are other farm animals loose on property, as well as neighborhood animals. Dogs, Cats, Chickens and Ducks on property. High-prey drive animals not permitted. Campers must clean up after their pets immediately.
RV/Trailer site can accommodate a 40+ ft trailer/RV including slide-outs and vehicle. Site is almost level, but longer RVs may need leveling. Terrain is firm, compacted grass and gravel.
Tent Site #1 accommodates a grassy site for a Hip-camper to pitch an up to 10 person tent, as well as a 10ft x 20ft designated parking spot on a grassy easement. Campers at this site must provide their own tent and amenities.

Jacob and Ian have a welcoming property close to all the great outdoor activities the Cascades have to offer. I visited in the winter for a day of riding at Stevens Pass. The Cascades had recently received a big dump of snow but they had the property plowed and ready for my arrival. Perfect spot for winter van camping.

Such a magical little spot with the best hosts! Nothing like a crackling fire right next to a picturesque river. The sauna absolutely made the trip with a warm spot to relax in the cold of winter. You can see the river from inside too. All the amenities you need for some excellent glamping! We went up to Scenic Hot Springs and then stayed here. The perfect little getaway with my spouse.

We camped at Ascent Basecamp in mid October and enjoyed our stay that we booked again this last weekend in mid November despite the pouring rain each time because of the beautiful riverside setting and shared covered kitchen with the essential wood stove made it that cozy! The drive to experience the fall leaves and a visit to Leavenworth were calling! I actually loved the trains across the highway and the river sounds which drown out any traffic noise from the highway. The camp caretakers were all helpful and the sauna experience was great the second time after the wood was sorted.

Instructions for arrival were great. We got to campsite after sunset, in the middle of rain, after hiking Colchuck Lake. Finding site was easy, and description is accurate. Was a little concerned about possibility of traffic noise, but Mark was spot on, you won’t hear a thing! Waking up the next morning to the sound of the river was awesome. Facilities were clean, and sauna looked very inviting. We will definitely be back, this site is surrounded by places we want to explore.

Jacob’s spot is very beautifully setup. Gracious and kind hosts. Nice grassy area and a creek across the street. Note for dog owners - the area is not fenced and there is a vehicle traveled road that is accessible by dogs. We have young and energetic goldens so it just wasn’t the best fit for us but I think it’s a wonderful spot for most.

Danika was super communicative and helpful. It is in the house’s front yard so if you are looking for a very private spot this probably isn’t for you.

First we didnt like there was a house across the field but once we know it's also owner's property we felt much better and they even have lovely doggies to hang out with us. My kid loved to play with them and was ready to share his sleepingbag with Echo😂 The goats are cute and my kid enjoyed feeding all animals. My kid is asking to go back so I have to plan again!

Witt's End is a well maintained and beautifully landscaped piece of property, that you get all to yourself!! And as a bonus...there is a private creek area to enjoy just across the street. My husband and I really felt blessed to spend a few days there relaxing, playing games, or just sitting and watching the creek run by. We highly recommend it and hope to enjoy it again in the future.
We were greeted warmly by his parents Rob & Tricia. Tricia is real warrior; she gives me hope and I wish her an abundance of future health and happiness!
And although we did not get to meet. Thank you, Jacob, for being so kind and immediately responding to all my questions. And... I wish you all the best with your pending prenuptials!

Absolutely a beautiful setting far away from the rat race of life, wife and I are so syked for this place to open up, having a local spot to camp while we play in the mountains, and let’s not forget the beautiful barrel sauna in the river. We walked along the other sites and really enjoyed how they are all different in settings, some are so close to the river, that we will be back soon on our next hike.
Everything was absolutely perfect for us.
Great place for sure, highly recommend for summer and really stocked for the winter snow..

The site was very clean. The tent space is tucked back on a flat area under the trees for privacy. I enjoyed the addition of the shelter and platform. They were really responsive with my last minute booking and provided chairs for us and fresh eggs! They went above and beyond letting us pick their blueberries and red huckleberries--a highlight for my kids. Thank you for everything!

This place was magical! We had the area to ourselves, and upon arrival our hosts (so welcoming and friendly! were building the fire in the sauna, the lights were strung, and our fire pit was ready right next to the river. It is located right off the highway, so there was the sound of traffic, but it didn’t bother us at all with the sound of the river. We enjoyed the sauna, cold plunged in the river, and enjoyed a small fire with a glass of wine! It was the perfect night! Thank you!!
