This is a stand alone structure w/small AC unit and wall heater. There is no shower in this dry space, but there is a camping sink that functions like a normal kitchen sink with hot water capacity. The shed has an easy to use composting toilet with clear instructions if you’re a first timer. Also, this IS a converted shed, so be ready for some lower ceilings and narrow spaces. The lofted full bed is cozy, but don’t bop your head on the way out! The bed has a six inch memory foam mattress with extra blankets and pillows. Everything is washed with free and clear detergent for sensitivities.
We provide a small refrigerator, a 2 burner stove, coffee supplies (keurig pods,pour over coffee with creamer/sugar), wine opener, dishes, and more. We have 2 tables where you can enjoy meals and games either indoors or outdoors.
One block away is Highland Park which has a tennis court and baseball field. A mile north, explore the West Duwamish Greenbelt Trails. 2 blocks south is Westcrest Park that hosts a community garden, a dog park, and small trails in their greenbelt. You’re also walking distance to downtown White Center, which has breweries, a roller skating rink, a gay bar, and plenty of coffee shops/restaurants.

This cozy cottage is equipped with a queen size bed in a lovely sleeping loft, a small but useful kitchen, a large trex deck with patio furniture, a comfy couch and small dining table. The separate, but luxurious, bath house has a full sized shower, sink, and fully plumbed flushing toilet. There is even a small stacked washer and dryer available. Laundry soap available for purchase. Name brand (no dollar store stuff here) shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided.
A cozy heater keeps the tiny house warm on cool days, but there is no air conditioning. The shady woods stay nice and cool, and there are lots of screened windows to let in the breeze. The sleeping loft also has two screened windows and a fan if the nights are warm.
The kitchen has a gas 2 burner stove, a mini fridge, toaster oven, hot water kettle, french press coffee maker, dishes, utensils, pots/pans, and other basics.
The bed has 100% cotton sheets, pillow cases, and blanket. As well as a comfy coverlet. A feather alternative duvet is available for colder nights.
There is only one bed and it is not recommended for small children to sleep in the loft as there is no safety rail or gate up there. If a child is present it is recommended (almost required) that they sleep on the couch in the lower living space.

We have an acre of land with an orchard, grapes, blueberries, raspberries, tons of flowers and peace and quiet except for some traffic on Veazie Cumberland Rd. There is a tree farm across the street from the campsite and a blueberry farm across Veazie. Picking time for blueberries is end of July into August. You will be staying in a rural area with open pasture and a beautiful walking trail nearby.
A little about Orting - Nestled in the foothills of Mt Rainier between the Puyallup and Carbon Rivers, Orting is a quaint Turn-of-the-Century village that you will not forget.
The town center is anchored by three parks filled with giant maples and evergreens. You will be awed by the view of Mt. Rainier from Washington Avenue.
The levees on the east and west sides of town are perfect for hikes along the rivers. The 20 mile Foothills Trail meanders right through the middle of town and then takes you along the Carbon River levee. Bike, walk, take the stroller and the family pet. Enjoy the turn-of-the-century architecture of downtown and eat at one of the 15 restaurants.
If your timing is right you can take part in the Daffodil festival and parade the first Saturday of April. The Kingsmen Car show comes to town the third Saturday in June. Then there is the Pumpkin festival the second weekend of October. Finally the year is capped off with the Christmas festival throughout December. Then there are the many foot and bike races that take place on the foothills trail throughout the year.

We spent the weekend here and it was everything we hoped for.
For our 4-year-old: nightly campfires with s’mores, all-day hammock time, and trails that were just adventurous enough for little legs.
For the parents: we set up our tent and were blown away by the romantic light vibe. With campfires so peaceful and beautiful.
The host is amazing—instructions were clear, communication was easygoing.
Such a great escape from Seattle. Can’t recommend this spot enough. We’ll be back!

loved this little glamping/cabin, it was a perfect escape. the cabin had all the essentials to cook breakfast and dinners. s'mores on the deck at night, and the private dock and lake during the day were fantastic. neighbors are very close but that did not bother us one bit. can't wait to come back, this is a rebook spot!

Weekend Trip to The Khohay Farm
Khohay and Jenel were lovely and their place was a perfect weekend stay. The tiny house was beautifully decorated and so serene. We woke up to bird song and sunrise over the lovely property and farm.
It was the perfect location for exploring Mount Rainier National Park. The facilities were great including the communal kitchen and shower. Hope to come back sometime!

Delightful private yurt! Tucked away about 500 feet into the woods from where you park. Virginia generously let our toddler feed her animals, that was a highlight. The yurt is well stocked with amenities including lanterns, battery back up, drinkable water etc. Plan for mosquitoes. Short driving distance to downtown and nearby parks/playgrounds.

The bear tent had one full sized cot and two twin size cots. All cots had a small sleeping pad. It was a good size and you can easily stand in it.
This was my second time at AYH, first time in a teepee. It was so nice to spur of the moment “go camping” and not worry about packing a million items. No need for a cooler, cooking utensils, air mattress, tent, etc. perfect way to try and be spontaneous with my toddler, especially by myself. Plus 5 minutes to town for food and all the other wonderful things Vashon has to offer.

Kid friendly, and dog friendly. There is a trail right next to the cabin so people on bikes or walking dogs. It's a wonderful little slice of summer vacation. I would love to return again with my family. There's also a river about 5 minutes up the road with a cute pizza place called Cascadia. Drive into property is also not too bad on a non 4×4 car (Kia soul). I highly recommend a stay here.

Quite a lovely experience, and honestly exceeded my expectations. Host is very kind and communicative, the cabin was clean and comfortable, and the site itself was very cozy. Really appreciated the lighting and fire pit. Even the outhouse was spotless. Wonderful little retreat, grateful for the experience.

I loved having this adventure with my three kids! The yurt was so comfortable and well stocked. The air was fresh and it stayed cool even on a 90 degree day. The path from parking to the yurt was fairly long and gave my kids freedom to explore and ride their bikes up and down and I still always knew where they were even though they got to be independent and go on "nature walks." Virginia invited the kids to feed her goats with her, and they were SO TICKLED (literally) and got so much joy!

The airstream is exactly as described, the converted kitchen nook to bed was also very comfortable as a 2nd bed option. If you are taller than 5' 8" it's going to be tight (it is an airstream).
We made breakfast each morning with the fresh eggs, used the stove, and the fully equipped mini pantry. & when we got back late in the evening and the airstream was chilly from the windows being open all day we briefly used the fireplace. All and all it was exactly what we needed for the weekend.
for those thinking of booking it as an alternate to staying in Seattle proper we were easily able to drive to the ferry each morning and ferry over to the city.

Weekend Trip to Secluded Forest Yurt
We had an incredible stay at this secluded forest yurt. It was much larger than expected and thoughtfully stocked, with plebty of candles, comforts and quiet that made the evenings extra cozy. Our favorite moment was lighting candles, watching a movie, after relaxing by the fire after a peaceful day outside. The porch and grill were perfect for soaking up the forest setting, romantic, quiet, and calming. Even though the mosquitoes were out, we came prepared and it didn't dampen the experience. Our two dachshunds loved exploring. Lowbacca took his security duties very seriously while Lady took everything in. We left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and already talking about coming back. Thank you, Virginia, for creating such a memorable, welcoming place. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful nature getaway.

We had a great evening at Cascade Rose Alpaca Farm camp site! The glamping tent was clean and cozy and the site had everything we needed for our stay. It was a perfect stay to walk over for a concert at Remlinger Farms.

Wonderful host. Had such a great stay. The camp was great. Bed in tent was very comfortable and clean. Great fire pit, bathrooms, water, grill. So peaceful listening to the frogs and an owl while falling to sleep. Being on the alpaca farm was very special. We played with them for hours. They also have some really cute, sweet dogs. Great little alpaca handycrafts store. This was a perfect stay for walking to concerts at Remlinger farms. Would stay again.
