Absolutely lovely. Lezli thinks of everything that you might need to have a relaxing, peaceful break from the city. Views are beautiful -- especially the one from the sauna -- and the grounds are maintained with an eye for native plant life and preservation of the forest.

3 nights at The Village at Rainier

I loved my time here in this lil cabin. I came here to do a big dent on the book I've been writing before the publication deadline. The space really helped me stay cozy, feel inspired, and was so close to many beautiful walking spots. It was simple and perfect for just me for those three nights. I wish I would have stayed more and I hope to return later! Random things I really appreciated: the delicious faucet water, many hooks for drying rain jacket and other items, good coffee machine, simple kitchenette, comfy bed, warm and simple heating system, good parking. Note to future traveler - the Google Maps will take you to the wrong place (it took me past the cabin and up a private driveway that was actually west/straight above the space). Note about walking in the neighborhood - there is an aggressive dog up the street northwest of the property. It was locked up most of the time in its trailer, so it usually was a non issue. When it did charge at me one evening, I stood calmly, didn't move, talked in a high pitch tone, and the owner quickly came out to get it. Unfortunately, another dog did get pretty badly attacked by that same dog during my stay. If you have kiddos or dogs with you, be careful.

Weekend Trip to Marble Creek Retreat

Highly recommend! I camped here for the night and it was a great spot. The area where I stayed, called Secret Garden, has a large flat area with wood chips, a table and chairs. There’s also potable water and a sink. A creek was flowing just a few feet away, so peaceful!

Weekend Trip to The Hideout

Jayson saved our trip! We had planned to winter camp at Paradise in our truck camper, and were left scrambling when the Park Service changed the rules. It’s not easy to find winter water hookups, but this has them. Jayson was easy to communicate with and very helpful. He made an extra effort to make sure we had everything we needed. His place is close to the Park entrance. We had it to ourselves and enjoyed the quiet. If you’re looking for absolute solitude, be aware this site is in a small neighborhood. You’ll be right next to the neighbor with a view to their trailer. But you’ll also be close to the park and not far from to a local bakery and restaurant.

Weekend Trip to The Village at Rainier

My husband and I were not able to fully enjoy this little nook of cuteness due to a cat emergency bringing us back home way sooner than intended. I’d love to come back and soak in the hottub and look at the stars after a day of hiking. The place was very clean and the bed comfortable. Communication was clear, and Janet was very helpful.

10 acre homestead on the outskirts of downtown North Bend at the base of Mt. Si. Breathtaking view of the mountain, peaceful pastures, amazing wildlife. Walk or ride to all the charm of Downtown North Bend (0.7 miles), The Snoqualmie River (0.5 miles) or The Snoqualmie Trail (0.5 miles). Close to Rattlesnake Lake (6.5 miles) and a huge variety of hiking trails. The farm is regularly visited by elk. During the spring and summer there are usually cows, cats, and two working dogs on the property. Hollow Tree Campsite is private, located on the far side of the pasture, next to a seasonal creek (dry in the summer). For larger groups we offer two adjacent pasture sites, Hollow Tree and Cherry Tree. And for those in a vehicle requiring hookups, Barn Camp is an excellent option. Farm 108 is a lovely place to get away from the hustle and enjoy the outdoors, while still accessing great eateries and activities. Hope to see you soon!

3 Sites RV/Tent Camping We have an acre of land with an orchard, grapes, blueberries, raspberries, tons of flowers and peace and quiet except for some traffic on Veazie Cumberland Rd. There is a tree farm across the street from the campsite and a blueberry farm across Veazie. Picking time for blueberries is end of July into August. Deep lake is four miles from our house as well as Kanaskit State Park with a river. Mt Rainier is about 45 minutes away. Mt Peak, 1000 ft hike, is 4 miles toward Enumclaw from us. Learn more about this land: Tent, trailer 20 foot maximum length, 20 foot Motor Homes, Sorry, spot for backyard camping. Forty feet from our home separate room with fridge, microwave and bathroom with cotton towels, individual hotel hand soap with shampoo and conditioner, two sinks, shower with a claw foot bath tub, seven foot long, bathroom might be shared with other guests. Cleaned after each persons use due to Covid 19 and just because we are really clean hosts. Campsite faces a Christmas Tree Farm and cows in a field. Blueberry Farm across the street. Traffic noise as Veazie Cumberland is a main two lane road 100 feet from camp. Two parks within four miles. Four miles from the town of Enumclaw. We have a 3 or 8 person tent for rent, a double cot or air mattress, sleeping bags if needed as well all at reasonable rental prices.

Our rental property was once a mini Rail Road with full size locomotive's, train cars, pumper cars and more. My dad & grandpa layed all the tracks & put together the buildings in the 1970's. Once done my grandma sold tickets to the tourist and my grandpa ran the engine around the 7 acre oval track pulling a train car full of happy tourist through the woods over the train bridge and past the big water tower back to their vehicles so they could finish their journies with a drive to Mt. Rainier. There is a lot of history on this property for our family and we hope by sharing it with others they will be able to experience some fun here as well.

Pleasant Places campground is clean, quiet, spacious, and private with lots of nooks for R&R as well as ample space for play and activities. It is an ideal location for large groups, and in order to keep the camp private, larger groups are given priority. Centrally located and with 10 acres of field, forest and farm, there is something of interest for everyone. In camp you will find a rustic kitchen, two 6' picnic tables, and a fire pit with accessories. There is also a resource area where you will find an electrical outlet, a water hose, five gallon jugs, bundled firewood, fresh eggs/produce for sale, and a wagon to transport everything back to camp. While the campsite, play space, and driveway loops are mowed, most of the grounds are wild so bring your tromping shoes. We also have a play field (with a net) so pack your movie screen, volleyball, soccer ball, badminton set and lawn games. You'll enjoy communing with the farm animals, the goats are especially hands on and love the attention campers give them, while the chickens and ducks are mostly just fun to observe. The local fauna include deer, skunk, coyote, rabbit, weasel, and possum--bear and cat are not common, but please do be conscientious about leaving food out. While there isn't water on the property, Mayfield, Ike Kinswa, and Riffe lakes are all 20-30 minutes from here and provide lots of boating, swimming, and fishing opportunities. Just five minutes down the road, Carlisle Lake offers walking trails, outdoor exercise equipment, fishing, summer concerts, and a playground for the kids. If you're looking to explore the area, Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, the East Side, and the Pacific Coast are all just day trips from here. We are midway between Portland and Seattle and just 15 minutes off of I-5 making Pleasant Places a perfect meet in the middle getaway. We are Judy and Summer and Chula, mother and daughter and dog, and we are pleased you are considering a stay with us.
