We are open year round and It is different every season Our guests love staying here "This site has absolutely everything you need. You'll want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, but I think that was the only things I noticed I'd want. They even had firewood for us, no extra charge! David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. NO TENTS, please. Also we have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 12 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs through the check-in entry-way. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). We are a one hundred year old family owned farm with an organic garden, Permaculture garden, an apiary, and Christmas trees on six acres. We have Horseshoes, Tether ball, Disk Golf, Corn Hole and a small library for you to enjoy. Early spring the frogs go crazy later followed by the sounds of nesting birds. Fall is the season for migrating birds that rest at the ponds next door. August is the time to fill up on blackberries. There are individual campsites with a barbecue and picnic table and a shared fire pit. The fire pit didn't see much use last two years because of the fire danger so we have moved it to an open area that will be safer and hopefully be open longer, there is also an area at each campsite if you want to bring a propane fire ring (or we will have some for rent). You can star gaze from the fields and the major constellations can be seen on a dark night. We are becoming increasingly suburban and there is some road noise that can be heard and even with farms on three sides of us, you still might hear our neighbors in the distance. Campsites one and four are across the road from each other and campsites two and three are adjacent to each other, perfect if you have another family traveling with you. The Washington State Fair is 3.9 miles/ 13 minutes away, Tacoma Dome 7.5 miles/ 18 minutes, Point Defiance Park Zoo and Aquarium 19 miles/ 30 minutes and Wild Waves water park is 15 miles/ 26 minutes away. There is a gallery of wild life photography taken on the farm displayed in the outhouse. Eagles, hawks and Ospreys are frequent visitors to our property.

The town center is anchored by three parks filled with giant maples and evergreens. You will be awed by the view of Mt. Rainier from Washington Avenue. The levees on the east and west sides of town are perfect for hikes along the rivers. The 20 mile Foothills Trail meanders right through the middle of town and then takes you along the Carbon River levee. Bike, walk, take the stroller and the family pet. Enjoy the turn-of-the-century architecture of downtown and eat at one of the 15 restaurants. If your timing is right you can take part in the Daffodil festival and parade the first Saturday of April. We do classes for soap making and various fiber art classes like making scarves. We are located 7 miles from Kanaskat State Park with hiking trails, kayaking and fishing. We are also 41 miles from Mt. Rainier.

We’ve been camping here and at several other spots on their property for years, and it’s truly paradise for us! Barb and Terry are such wonderful hosts. We highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a fantastic spot to unwind and recharge. There’s plenty of hiking on the property or in nearby parks. We will be back again!

This was our very first trailer and trip for my wife and I and 2 dogs, we couldn't have been more lucky to pick the concord site. The hosts were more than hospitable and checked in on us upon arrival, delivered our wood, gave us the lowdown. Beautiful property and well layed out. Awsome place! Lots of area the kids can play in between spots. There is an awesome river trail that is a quick hike. We love it and we will probably come back! No lighr pollution or noise pollution. You can legit hear the toads and birds! Quiet, just what we wanted. They also have cheap firewood bundles (big bunlde)on site that you can pay cash. There are more activities that the host offer we just did not participate on it like a art class and art gallery and they sell local honey. We booked the RV concord site its was an awesome memorial day weekend

The site was huge and so well maintained, that one would want to live there. Between the views, peace, friendliness of the owners & hosts, we will definitely be back….and soon. I was shocked that we didn’t hear one firework from the surrounding area over the Memorial Day holiday. Quiet, clean and nice. It was easy to get in and out with our 20 ft travel trailer plus tow vehicle. Host was friendly and accommodating. Location worked well for using as base camp to explore the belfair and peninsula area. Would stay here again if traveling in the area.

We came here to visit last year and absolutely loved it, so we were thrilled to come back and stay this past weekend to celebrate our best friend’s birthday. Once again, this park did not disappoint! There truly is something for everyone — outdoor games, kayaking, fishing, and of course, relaxing around a campfire. During the summer months, they even show movies with popcorn, which adds such a fun and unique touch to the experience. The park is very well maintained, the restrooms are clean, and the store is well stocked with anything you might need. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to answer questions or help out in any way. We made wonderful memories here and are already looking forward to coming back in 2027!

The Arboretum was the perfect retreat for my husband, dog, and I. The grounds were beautifully kept and each campsite was huge. The lawns there rival a city park. It was truly a gift for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The owners, Barb and Terry, were very cordial and welcoming. It is apparent they have put alot of work and love into the property to make it a great destination!
