You'll want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, but I think that was the only things I noticed I'd want. They even had firewood for us, no extra charge! David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. For large RVs maneuvering skills are required to park on the level 23 ft long parking pads in the parking area down the hill from the road. It is a U-shaped drive-through, flat at the bottom of the small driveway hill. A completely natural untouched Pacific moss rainforest about 30 miles inland on the foothills of the Mount Baker–Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington State. Some areas it is likely no one has ever walked on. Bring mosquito repellent. Be aware of kids and dogs near road entrances, as well as near the creek in the winter. It is located near major fun sites, it is a wilderness playground! Ames Creek dries up mid-July and returns in Sept/Oct. There are a lot of little paths crisscrossing the creek, likely raccoon and deer trails. We are happy to have your dogs visit - they will love it! We live in a small neighborhood of 5 acre parcels, the neighbors are quiet but their vehicles are visible through the trees when they drive past. Whidbey Island is rural and therefore has spotty cell service. Some campers have said that their carrier does not get good cell service at our campsite, so be aware of that please. If needed, you can walk up to our yard where the sky is a little clearer to make a phone call or send a text. Please only park vehicles and campers in the gravel parking area and do not move the logs that line the gravel area. You are welcome to unplug the string of lights for a darker nighttime experience.

Located on Yew Street, Port Ludlow, Washington nestled in the "quiet" Paradise Bay community. Due to narrow entry off Paradise Bay Road, the maximum recommended length is 35’ for Motorhomes and 30’ for Travel Trailers. Nice views of Puget Sound/Hood Canal where cruise ships, cargo ships, and naval vessels often pass. On a clear day, you will see Mount Baker. Inquiries: message me via HipCamp App or Contact Host at bottom of page. Enjoy the private community beach, picnic area and boat ramp (for smaller vessels), just a 4-minute walk from campsite. Look for sea lions, seals and Orcas (sometimes). Power (30A/20A), water hookup, comfy campsite chairs, picnic table and fire-ring/cooking grate (check for Jefferson County burn-ban). No wi-fi, but cell phone reception is typically very good. Eastern part of Olympic Peninsula has many great trails in the Olympic National Park (35 minutes away). Also, local trails in Port Ludlow less than 10 minutes away. Easy access to Sequim, John Wayne Marina (with large boat launch), Port Angeles and Port Townsend as well as the Olympic Discovery Trail for a great bike riding adventure IMPORTANT NOTES: • For your safety, Hipcamp requires background checks for all Hosts. • For our safety, Hipcamp requires Hipcamper profiles include renter’s real full name. We reserve the right to cancel reservations that do not provide a real full name. • Firewood may be purchased anytime via the App, however we recommend you wait until arrival and check for “no” Jefferson County “Burn-Ban”. • We have neighbors nearby, but privacy is maintained. • Main access (Paradise Bay Rd) is 75 feet away from campsite and can be busy with traffic. No on-site dumping of wastewater (black or grey). 5. No dumpster, please take trash with you when you leave. 6. Pets must be leashed when outside. Please clean up after pet. 7. Quiet time: 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. 8. Limit generator use, especially during quiet time hours. 9. Park vehicles within campsite, either in driveway or campsite pad. 10. Do not leave firepit fires unattended. 11. No fireworks or fish/crab cleaning.

Totally positive experience with our host and his property. Clean, excellent water and electric, covered in case of rain, centrally located with easy access to ferry, downtown and Mount Rainier. Quiet neighborhood surrounded by park, beach and stores. We had a broken appliance in our camper that needed a quick replacement part via mail order and Patrick graciously let us take delivery at the site. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, it’s private and secluded however, minutes from the lake and store. The area had plenty of room to pull in and out the camper. Plus, plenty of room for tent. There’s a beautiful gazebo with evening lights that sets a relaxing atmosphere. The third night the golf course had a glow in the dark evening session. It was fun to see all the golf carts lit up in different neon lights from afar. There’s a large double gated fence that keeps your stay private and safe.

Weekend Trip to The Glen - Olympic Peninsula RV

This was our first time staying at The Glen and we LOVED it. We will definitely be back. Friendly, helpful staff with very clean, well maintained facilities. During our stay they had a limited supply of fresh cinnamon rolls in the morning from a local place and they were the perfect way to start our day. The indoor hot tub, showers, and bathrooms were all super clean and well stocked. The back in RV sites offer full hook ups and ours was by the creek which was lovely to listen to during the day. The grounds were surprisingly quiet, even though it was almost full. Everyone was very respectful and friendly. They have a wonderful trail along the creek through the forest, which we really enjoyed. On Saturday night they played the classic Willy Wonka movie on the lawn and had popcorn for everyone. Overall, this was a memorable stay and we cannot wait to go back.

Jana and Pablo made us feel completely at home. Enjoyed a walk to the neighboring farm to pick up some local produce, and we really appreciated the wonderful landscape of flowers, and Christmas Trees as far as the eye could see. Would definitely stay again the next time we are in the area- Thanks!

This was there perfect place to stay for the 4th of July. Beautiful views, a clean and well kept camp site, and excellent communication by our host Jeff were just a few of the reasons we enjoyed staying here. Access to the neighborhood boat ramp and all of the nearby recreation activities were added bonuses. If you need a place to relax and enjoy some time near Port Ludlow this is it.

The directions given were easy to follow. Once we got to the driveway there were "tent" symbols and lights guiding the way. We enjoyed the private camping sites pocketed in the trees and watching the bunnies eat grass. This was a very relaxing peaceful place to land.
