You can enjoy such activities as swinging in one of the many hammocks, getting goldfish pedicures, feeding some of the sweet animals, singing with the parrot, doing goat yoga or goagility (don't bother Googling it because it doesn't exist anywhere else), picking fresh fruits and vegetables for dinner you can prepare in our outdoor cabana kitchen, eating s'mores at one of the many firepits, visiting the beautiful flower gardens or simply enjoying the peace and quiet. Wildlife galore including bald and golden eagles, red tail hawks, deer, raccoons, heron and coyotes. Some nights, we have live music in the evening by one of South Whidbey's amazing bands and beer flowing from the taps built into the wall of the cabana. It is just me and an occasional worker operating the property so you may see us weeding, milking goats, feeding farm animals, or watering some of the many gardens. Treehouse Place at Deer Ridge!

We can't wait for you to experience this tiny house in the woods. Check back weekly to see our progress photos! We call this a treehouse but it's technically supported by posts (nicer to the trees). There is a fullsize high end queen memory foam bed on the upper floor. Yes, this is a 2 story treehouse! On the second floor there is also a children's sleeping loft which overlooks the rest of the bedroom. This loft is suitable for a small child or 2 but headroom is only a few feet. We found it also requires some youthfull agility to get up there. A beautiful knotty alder slidding barn door leads from the bedroom to a private bathroom with pedestal sink and odorless composting toilet. There is a small kitchen with a coffee maker, mini fridge, induction cooktop, mini crockpot, and enough dishes and glasses to enjoy a simple meal or drink. Water pressure in the kitchen and throughout is good! There is a soaking tub on the main floor near the fireplace and TV with free Netflix. This luxury tub is sure to be a favorite amongst guests. I designed a non traditional floor plan knowing that this would be used primarily as a couples retreat. You can literally be soaking in the tub and watching TV by the fire while your significant other is preparing a meal in the kitchen all in the same space. We find the layout very romantic and unlike anything else out there. There is also a large hot tub avalible for our guests near the main house. You are welcome to use this hot tub anytime if you don't mind it being by the main home. Free Wifi. No cable TV but we supply Netflix on the hi-speed guest network. Guests will have free parking in our large circular driveway suitable for cars, trucks, or even RVs under 31ft.

The Rivershack Baring

The Rivershack Baring is a private campsite in Baring, WA in the Stevens Pass Corridor. We welcome you and your van, small trailer/RV (under 20 feet or so) to park in our driveway, feel free to shut the gate and enjoy your own home base in the Cascade Foothills. Walk to the Baring Store, Charge your phone and use our wifi- we have power and electricity. Post those photos of the river and the mountians and be warm! We have a picnic table and firepit area - please bring your own wood. We are in the process of finshing our outdoor room (needs the roof put on). MUST bring your own water and remove all potty waste and trash. We reccomend you bring a flash light, extension chord for power, and possibly a snow shovel to get into the driveway. Well behaved pets that you clean up after are allowed if disclosed at check in. No smoing or illegal drugs at all. No parties or entertaining. Bring a flash light as it can be very dark and a snow shovel during snow season. Our road usually gets plowed but not the driveway - you may need to shovel show to get into the driveway and open the gate. Paved road 1 away from the South Fork Skykomish River. About a quarter mile away from the Highway and railroad - you can hear the train in the distance but it is not right close to you. NOTE: The trailer kept on sight is not available. There are 2-3 piles of wood and building materials - perhaps covered with a tarp - please leave those alone. Roof to be completed soon - in next few weeks. You are welcome to use the outdoor room and chairs, and gas grill (But will need to bring propane) We reserve the right to check the property and trailer at any time. We are working on adding some more spots to accommodate more vehicles soon. We have cameras outside just so we know you get in alright.

Take a short day trip to Roslyn, Wa. most noted for the filming of the Northern Exposure series. Roslyn was founded in 1886 as a coal mining company town. During the 20th century, the town gradually transitioned away from coal, and today its economy is primarily based on forestry and tourism. Don't forget to visit The Roslyn Cafe and The Brick. Another fun day trip is to Snoqualmie Falls one of Washington state's most popular scenic attractions. Approximately 45 minute drive from Easton. More than 1.5 million visitors come to the Falls every year. At the falls, you will find a two-acre park, gift shop, observation deck, the Salish Lodge and the famous 270 foot waterfall.

We have a spot for tent camping and Airstream basecamp trailer for rent on site. The Rivershack Baring

The Rivershack Baring is a private campsite in Baring, WA in the Stevens Pass Corridor. We welcome you and your van, small trailer/RV (under 20 feet or so) to park in our driveway, feel free to shut the gate and enjoy your own home base in the Cascade Foothills. Walk to the Baring Store, Charge your phone and use our wifi- we have power and electricity. Post those photos of the river and the mountians and be warm! We have a picnic table and firepit area - please bring your own wood. We are in the process of finshing our outdoor room (needs the roof put on). MUST bring your own water and remove all potty waste and trash. We reccomend you bring a flash light, extension chord for power, and possibly a snow shovel to get into the driveway. Well behaved pets that you clean up after are allowed if disclosed at check in. No smoing or illegal drugs at all. No parties or entertaining. Bring a flash light as it can be very dark and a snow shovel during snow season. Our road usually gets plowed but not the driveway - you may need to shovel show to get into the driveway and open the gate. Paved road 1 away from the South Fork Skykomish River. About a quarter mile away from the Highway and railroad - you can hear the train in the distance but it is not right close to you. NOTE: The trailer kept on sight is not available. There are 2-3 piles of wood and building materials - perhaps covered with a tarp - please leave those alone. Roof to be completed soon - in next few weeks. You are welcome to use the outdoor room and chairs, and gas grill (But will need to bring propane) We reserve the right to check the property and trailer at any time. We are working on adding some more spots to accommodate more vehicles soon. We have cameras outside just so we know you get in alright.

Country setting but close to shopping and services - Walking distance to Little Si Trail Head, Snoqualmie Trail (SVT), Middle and South Fork River and North Bend. Rent the Bunkhouse (*bring your own sleeping bag/bedding) two separate rooms included with the "site" reservation. The rooms are not connected and are 20ft apart, not ideal for toddlers. Bunkhouse #1 - One Queen bed, pillows provided. Bunkhouse #2 - Twin bunkbeds, pillows provided. If you have more guests than the bunkhouses sleeps (B1 Two B2 Two) in your party you can add two additional people (in a car, tent or RV no hookup) for $50.00 per night. - Outdoor Kitchen Cabana; BBQ, small refrigerator, Microwave, & hot pot. Utensils for cooking, pots and pans, basic spices and oil. - Outdoor Dinning room Cabana - 10 min drive to: Mt. Si, Rattlesnake Ridge, Twin Falls, Mailbox Peak, and Mt. Teneriffe among others great hikes! North Bend has great restaurants, Wine Large grassy area (1 acre) surrounded by mature evergreens. Campfire Pit, Residential area but you don’t know it when on the property. Freeway noise depending on the weather. Additional tables and chairs available for larger parties. - Privacy: Just one group/family on site during your stay. Tent sites available for larger groups. Rent the property for Birthday Parties, Anniversary Parties or Family Reunions. $500.00 for 7AM to 12PM. Near By: #1 Tee Disc Golf Course North Bend, Mt Si Golf Course in Snoqualmie, Wine tasting at Pearl and Stone Wine Co in North Bend. Train rides from North Bend and Snoqualmie.
