Historically, Deep Creek Canyon was a winter encampment for the Spokane Indians, whose ancestral lands surround us. We feel the healing spirit of the land, in partnership and stewardship. Our original house was one of the first in the canyon, in the early 1940's.

The property hosts a dozen egg laying hens (hopefully soon) and rustic barn and chicken coup blocking the view from the main road. This is a little hideaway less than a minute from I-90 Argon exit. Biking, scooter riding hiking, kayaking, sightseeing, and Spokane Valley exploring are common attractions in the area. Come check us out! ✨ Please take care pulling into the property- you will pass through a 100yr old orchard that is just big enough for one Rec vehicle to pull in at a time. When passing through the orchard turn wide and pull in staright to avoid from damaging the trees in the orchard. ✨ These apples, pears, and plums will be really tasty this Autumn 🍂!

Peaceful riverside camp! Communicative and considerate host. Available tables, chairs, grill, potty, hand washing station, dog cleanup area, trash can, floats, fire pit all right by the river making for a fun setup. Level field site and additional upgrades in progress. River is perfect for floating or just sitting in a chair with your feet in the water. It is a community site so there may be other campers enjoying the river space.

We loved staying at Saras Bunkhouse! The property was beautiful and right on the river, just a short walk through the dry camping area. Sara was incredibly kind and thoughtful before and throughout our stay!
It was a hot day so having the river there was a great to cool off!
Dry toilet as well as water to wash hands behind the bunkhouse.
Besides indoor set up there is an outdoor kitchen with great seating (awning coming soon for some good shade which will be nice)
Down at the river Sara provides some floats, life jackets, games, many of seating options, a hammock, fire pit right and river front access. It felt safe and private to camp here.
Highly recommend if you’re in the area :)

Wir waren mit unserem Wohnmobil für eine Nacht hier und hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Stellplatz war sauber und die Anlage gepflegt. Ja, die Bahnstrecke liegt in der Nähe, aber für eine Nacht hat uns der Zug überhaupt nicht gestört. Der Check-in war unkompliziert und die Umgebung ist schön. Insgesamt ein guter Campingplatz für einen Zwischenstopp – wir würden wiederkommen.

I loved camping on Nicholas’ farm! Directions were really clear on where we could be and they did have a boarder of where we couldn’t. Which was very little, so you have a lot of options! Communication was super quick if you ever have any questions, so ask away. The Jam shop is super neat with all of the things they have available so I highly recommend checking it out. Everyone was always incredibly friendly and welcoming. I look forward to coming back for another wonderful time!

Thank goodness for Belle of Glenrose. I loved the very comfortable, clean and lovely accommodations, the outdoor shower and the large porch, g-lamping at its best. The hosts were so kind and accommodating, and I highly recommend the daily breakfasts they made from their farm produce...so nourishing and delicious! The sweeping countryside views and the quiet were wonderful. I will be back. Mahalo nui loa Angela and ohana.
