We have hiking trails through beautiful private scenery for beginners to advanced hikers. Pets are welcome if leashed! Picnic area on site as well as laundry machine. We are 10 minutes from downtown historic Lexington Virginia that provides great restaurants and lots of history in the charming town of Lexington. Site 2 should be booked for smaller campers around 25 feet. Site 1 is better for larger campers. Bathroom is located through the barn just past the white gazebo, first door on the right.

Awesome spot at Maple site on Ned’s land. Tons of space to set up our tent and camp. There were a couple of paths that led right down to the creek which our pup was able to play in. We went In March so there weren’t really any bugs and the weather was perfect. There were lights Ned hung up for the site but we weren’t sure how to cut them on. They weren’t really needed tho it was a nice touch. Thanks for a great quick getaway!

Very private, beautiful view of stars and country side. It is a little close to interstate so some slight road noise. And do expect to smell all the smells of a farm. Take these into consideration but I would totally recommend!!

We stayed for one night. We were booked at site 2, but Sydney let us move to site 1, which was larger and easier to level. The location is beautiful. Amazing views and very quiet. It’s a short drive to downtown Lexington, where we went for dinner. We were passing through, so didn’t do anything else. Sydney was quick to respond when we reached out. Would definitely stay again.

As a repeat guest for 3 years now, Mane Gait Equestrian Center is one of our top favorites on Hipcamp. It is so beautiful & peaceful . Wide open sky for star gazing, surrounded by beautiful mountains in the distance. Hook-up is easy for Elec & water. Maybe a little un-level in spots for larger RVS but no complaints here ! This last stay; we booked an extra night to go hiking locally, visit Lexington and local breweries ! Many excellent trails to choose from & Natural Bridge State Park is worth the visit too!

Weekend Trip to Mane Gait Equestrian Center
The equestrian center was very well kept. We didn’t use the horse barns, but they looked very clean. We rooftop & tent camped. The location was nice semi private. It is off the main highway so it was a bit noisy throughout the night. The bathroom is in the main office about a quarter mile from the camping section. Primal, but not secluded.

Syneys place was exactly as described. It has a beautiful view and it was awesome hanging around near horses for the week. I will say, on the warmer days there are c several flies around. But otherwise, it was an amazing place to stay.

This was an introduction to camping for our six year old, and he loved it! The yurt and campsite came with everything we needed to enjoy the outdoors while having creature comforts, and the communal trailer was nice to have to check-in with family. We didn’t need anything, but the camp store was also stocked with bare essentials in the event you leave something behind. The site was very private, and Beau, Leah, and the other guests were friendly. We hope to make it back to Beaverfalls again!

So enjoyable! 10/10! Accommodating host for needs upon arrival and was there if needed after. The Maple Knoll area was enchanting - we were lucky to have such a gorgeous view of the 3rd day past Harvest Moon and the colors of the trees were doing their amazing change from - day 1 to day 4 it was pretty noticeable. Even some novice campers were with us and they had a pleasant time. We made buttermilk pancakes one morning and Savage Acres maple syrup now holds my top favorite, so glad I added that extra! We will definitely return in the warm months to enjoy the private swim hole with the gorgeous rock formation. So happy to have found such a pleasant camping spot in Savage Acres as our first booking on HipCamp.

It was a perfect spot. You literally are sleeping on top of a waterfall. You can hear it at night with and without the windows open. perfect spot for a campfire and grilling food which has a grate. They even have a community space that has an oven and things too if you prefer to cook that way, I hung twinkle lights all over the place to give it a cute feel and also the community space they offer free coffee and they also have snacks and other items to purchase. The cave was neat to explore on the property! You can even sit at the bottom of the waterfall and have a picnic or just hang out, you can even swim in it too! At the cabin they even made a trail directly to it for those that stay in this cabin. The space was perfect at the cabin for my dog. I had him on a 20 foot lead and worked out perfect.

This place was amazing. A very short trip from rt81. I think it’s over 100 acres and it was so wonderfully beautiful. There were a couple horses in the stables and it was pretty cool to pet them. There was water and electric hook ups but I don’t think sewage. The only negative was that the spots aren’t very flat if you needed electric. But the pros far outweigh that. I’ll add pics
