This property was owned by a composer and pianist, old friends of the family. I run an artist residency here and work on a variety of building and art projects with friends and travelers. Learn more about this land: There are camping spots (wild) along the creek, you can have a fire, outdoor shower. Nearby swimming (15 min drive) at Goshen Pass and trails (Blue Ridge Parkway is a short drive), big bright stars at night, birds all over the meadow and fireflies. Access to indoor toilet and sink is optional. Parking for 2 vehicles or one small RV (400 feet from camping areas)There are camping spots (wild) along the creek, you can have a fire, outdoor shower. Far Country - Creek & Meadow

Amazing property with an amazingly helpful host. Did his best to make sure I found the place and was able to access everything I needed, even followed up after my stay to make sure everything went well. The property is private and in beautiful Appalachian foothills, surrounded by acres and acres of beautiful rolling farmland. The willows are magical, the cabin was homie, and the outdoor deck and shower were a huge plus. Plenty of places to sit and relax by the water or have a fire. Would drive well out of my way to stay here.
