Camping with a trailer is a fun experience. While we do not have a kitchen, we provide propane grill, BBQ grill shared refrigerators, pans, utensils, and dishwashing area, Please expect some vintage aspects, such as door handles, screens, windows, that function according to their age. These are not new modern trailers and we think that adds to the appeal! However they are clean and cozy!Your trailer is down by the pond, the wildlife clay bottom is spring fed, swimming is allowed during daylight hours only and it is "Swim at your own Risk". Please read the house rules regarding rinsing off and refraining from getting suntan oil etc. in the pond. We usually have wood on site for sale, advance request is much appreciated and please pay upon arrival with cash, $10 per ample bundle and $15 for a bag of charcoal. We do not deliver after 5pm so please order in advance. PLEASE NOTE- you do not have our property to yourselves. We live onsite and on any given night, both trailers can be rented. The cook station, picnic table/benches under the pavilion and composting toilet are communally used. IMPORTANT-PLEASE PLAN TO CHECK IN BETWEEN 4 and 6:30 pm as this is not a location where we can accommodate arrivals after dark. After checking in, you can head back out for dinner, we are a mere 5 miles from Quechee. We further request that you communicate your arrival time no later that early the day of so that we can greet you. We plan our day around your arrival and ask that you respect our time as well. Any photography done with our property must be for personal use only and not professional use nor intended for publication. You must have advance (prior to arrival) permission for professional photography which will also require a contract for fees and terms. Our private Sugar Shack is at the end of our blueberry fields and faces the forest. The Sugar Shack sleeps two in a comfy double bed with clean sheets and a fleece blanket. I wash the linens and blanket
in hot water for each and every booking.
Please bring your own extra blankets or sleeping bag if the weather is cold. An additional clean quilt with duvet cover can be added for a $ 10 per booking fee. There is a small porch, a charcoal grill, four chairs, a hammock, a fire ring,
fire wood, clean potable cold water, a solar shower,
and an outhouse. We provide the firewood for the fire ring and we provide charcoal and lighter fluid for the charcoal grill.
There is space available next to Sugar Shack in the field for additional tents or small RVs. (There is no electricity.) The upcharge for additional campers after the first two people is $5 per person per night.
Hiking trails through field and forest start at your door. We have a 3 mile round trip hike to Harlow Brook with a map. We are on the edge of a wildlife corridor and often see deer, coyotes, fox, waterfowl, songbirds and the occasional bear.
(Keep food in your car at night so that the bear does not eat it!)
We are above the Ottauquechee River at North Hartland Lake. We have rentable canoes and a
kayak. We can transport you to and pick you up for a canoe trip on the Connecticut River or to North Hartland Lake..
We are located two miles from Quechee, 7 miles from historic Woodstock to the west, and 7 miles to hip White River Junction to the east and 8 1/2 miles to Dartmouth College and the Appalachian Trail. There are fun casual restaurants with some sit down and take-out nearby and our local Jakes Market can provide you with a nice selection of groceries.
Hot Air Balloon pilots often take off and land in our fields and it is always a magical site. We can connect you with local pilots if you wish to purchase a Balloon Adventure.

Our ancestor Ebenezer Cole, settled in our little corner of Lebanon, NH., in 1847. Eight generations of our family have lived, and farmed here since. This is the private campsite we developed on our farm several years ago for when my wife and I need a little getaway, but don't have the time to travel. Shaded Brookside Glen is a level, mowed lawn surrounded by mature trees and bushes. Dry camping only, but a nice composting outhouse is easily available nearby. Water is available from the year round trout stream, but drinking water must be carried in. Shaded Brookside Glen has a picnic table, a metal fire pit, and limited fire wood is supplied. The drive to the site is across a grassy, mowed, well drained field, but can be effected by long periods of rain.

Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain.
Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity.
The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so.
The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

Camping with a trailer is a fun experience. While we do not have a kitchen, we provide propane grill, BBQ grill shared refrigerators, pans, utensils, and dishwashing area, Please expect some vintage aspects, such as door handles, screens, windows, that function according to their age. These are not new modern trailers and we think that adds to the appeal! However they are clean and cozy!Your trailer is down by the pond, the wildlife clay bottom is spring fed, swimming is allowed during daylight hours only and it is "Swim at your own Risk". Please read the house rules regarding rinsing off and refraining from getting suntan oil etc. in the pond. We usually have wood on site for sale, advance request is much appreciated and please pay upon arrival with cash, $10 per ample bundle and $15 for a bag of charcoal. We do not deliver after 5pm so please order in advance. PLEASE NOTE- you do not have our property to yourselves. We live onsite and on any given night, both trailers can be rented. The cook station, picnic table/benches under the pavilion and composting toilet are communally used. IMPORTANT-PLEASE PLAN TO CHECK IN BETWEEN 4 and 6:30 pm as this is not a location where we can accommodate arrivals after dark. After checking in, you can head back out for dinner, we are a mere 5 miles from Quechee. We further request that you communicate your arrival time no later that early the day of so that we can greet you. We plan our day around your arrival and ask that you respect our time as well. Any photography done with our property must be for personal use only and not professional use nor intended for publication. You must have advance (prior to arrival) permission for professional photography which will also require a contract for fees and terms. We also must restrict the use of our property to registered guests only,We also require that you commit to requirements such as no smoking or open flame in trailers, use of pond, etc. All guests swim and hike our property at their own risk. We ask that you only swim during daylight hours. We are NOT a clothing optional space. We reserve the right to refuse service. Thank you.

Please come prepared with a vehicle and shoes that are suited for the season of your arrival (mud, snow and ice) for both our property and the town road we live on. Checking in during daylight hours is advised.
Nearby, the town of Woodstock in only minutes away with cute shops and restaurants. There are many local hikes, national and state parks, the Quechee Gorge, white water rapids, The VAST (snowmobile trails), ski resorts and array of local events to attend.

Our private Sugar Shack is at the end of our blueberry fields and faces the forest. The Sugar Shack sleeps two in a comfy double bed with clean sheets and a fleece blanket. I wash the linens and blanket
in hot water for each and every booking.
Please bring your own extra blankets or sleeping bag if the weather is cold. An additional clean quilt with duvet cover can be added for a $ 10 per booking fee. There is a small porch, a charcoal grill, four chairs, a hammock, a fire ring,
fire wood, clean potable cold water, a solar shower,
and an outhouse. We provide the firewood for the fire ring and we provide charcoal and lighter fluid for the charcoal grill.
There is space available next to Sugar Shack in the field for additional tents or small RVs. (There is no electricity.) The upcharge for additional campers after the first two people is $5 per person per night.
Hiking trails through field and forest start at your door. We have a 3 mile round trip hike to Harlow Brook with a map. We are on the edge of a wildlife corridor and often see deer, coyotes, fox, waterfowl, songbirds and the occasional bear.
(Keep food in your car at night so that the bear does not eat it!)
We are above the Ottauquechee River at North Hartland Lake. We have rentable canoes and a
kayak. We can transport you to and pick you up for a canoe trip on the Connecticut River or to North Hartland Lake..
We are located two miles from Quechee, 7 miles from historic Woodstock to the west, and 7 miles to hip White River Junction to the east and 8 1/2 miles to Dartmouth College and the Appalachian Trail. There are fun casual restaurants with some sit down and take-out nearby and our local Jakes Market can provide you with a nice selection of groceries.
Hot Air Balloon pilots often take off and land in our fields and it is always a magical site. We can connect you with local pilots if you wish to purchase a Balloon Adventure.

Our ancestor Ebenezer Cole, settled in our little corner of Lebanon, NH., in 1847. Eight generations of our family have lived, and farmed here since. Although once almost totally cleared for crops and grazing, most of our land is now devoted to forestry, but some land remains open and devoted to forage crops. We also have a modern hillside maple orchard.
Although we no longer actively farm full time, the stewardship of our farm is of upmost importance to our family. We encourage people to visit our property and enjoy it fully. We host a Boy Scout Troop campsite on another part of our property.

This is the private campsite we developed on our farm several years ago for when my wife and I need a little getaway, but don't have the time to travel. Shaded Brookside Glen is a level, mowed lawn surrounded by mature trees and bushes. Dry camping only, but a nice composting outhouse is easily available nearby. Water is available from the year round trout stream, but drinking water must be carried in. Shaded Brookside Glen has a picnic table, a metal fire pit, and limited fire wood is supplied. The drive to the site is across a grassy, mowed, well drained field, but can be effected by long periods of rain.

Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain.
Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity.
The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so.
The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

Rustic and Comfortable Cabins. No power lines cross our property. We have no blaring screens to distract us from the sound of the wind in the leaves or to call us back to the whirl of modern life. But that does not mean we are without any comforts.
Each cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, hot and cold running spring water, indoor bathroom, and overhead LP gas lamps. Nestled in the forest at meadow's edge, Cold Spring Cabin has an outdoor shower and indoor tub. Perched on a hill near the Farm Pond, Ripley Hill Cabin has an indoor shower and tub.
The cabins are rustic, but clean and airy. The luxuries at Forest Echo Farm are not inside the cabins; they are found in the light that fills the forest in late afternoon, the silence of an evening canoe and the moonlit sparkle of dewdrops at midnight. Forest Echo Farm includes 360 acres, extensive shore to a 26-acre protected pond, numerous trails, and half a mountain.
The Farm Pond offers a refreshing ‘dip’ to cool off. A hike from each cabin leads to Tiny Pond, an unspoiled lake where canoe, kayak and raft are available for shared use. Hiking trails are on the property. In addition to local trails, the Long Trail and Appalachian Trail are nearby.

Bow and Laurie were welcoming. The dome was amazing with everything you need to be comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed the stay here. There is a small stream flowing by. We visited right after a snow fall. The place looked magical both during day and night. I would also recommend this place for anyone who loves stargazing.

We loved this A frame site. It was private and quiet and the forest views/access can’t be beat. The A frame allowed us to stay totally dry during some rain without having to be inside a tent. The toilet was the nicest one we’ve seen too. We watched snow come down from the comfort of the A frame and walking in the woods after was really magical. We are grateful for getting to stay here and would love to come back.

This was easily our favorite Hipcamp so far on our 11day roadtrip with our small family. You get a whole road/loop to yourself with a gate you can close for privacy. The creek was perfect to explore and the site came with a fire pit, optional firewood for purchase, and a nice lush spot to pop your tent up. I was especially grateful for the loop aspect. We pitched our suv adaptable tent but we needed to go to the store so we detached, came back, and it was so simple to just reattach because we could loop around and pull right where we were. The outhouse was good size to change clothes in or use the restroom. There were cars who drove by up the hill but honesty it was nice (felt safe) for us after being very secluded for a while prior. The cars were up the hill so it was still private. Can’t say enough good things about this site!

Staying at the Dome in Know Town is truly one for the bucket list!
The hosts are welcoming and so helpful. We stayed for three nights and even in the chillier weather on late October nights, the easy set up made everything a real breeze. The out house is extremely well kept up with and the land around the Dome gives so much to do and explore. If you’re thinking about it, BOOK IT! You won’t regret it 🙂

Cabin was private, cozy, and had everything we needed! Scott & Rose made everything super easy and welcoming. A hot bath in the morning followed by canoeing on Tiny Pond, a drive out to Woodstock, and stargazing in the meadow at night was an unbeatable experience. We had a lovely camping trip!
