Learn how to be resourceful and use solar power, rain catchment, and a compost toilet while you are one with nature. You will be basically camping with a hot shower, beds, cookstove, and a fireplace. There are many hiking and biking trails nearby, waterholes and lakes, and of course you are within a half hour drive of Jay Peak resort and four minutes from Lake Carmi State Park. Cell reception is limited in this area of Vermont. There is no internet access in the property as well. There is a town 7 miles away with most of the basic necessities. We are closed from September until May.

Ski resorts are 45-90 mins away 600 acre State park with miles of trails right around the corner. Burlington is 15 mins away for shopping and local flavor, beers, and food. Montreal is 90 min away. Champlain islands and boat ramps close by Guest access Access is through our yard. Feel free to hang out by the tiny house once there or explore the gardens and pond and trails around the property. Other things to note There is no running water at the tiny house. There will be water available in a 5 gallon camping style container. Feel free to refill at the house if needed. No shower available in the winter months. Will be set up once we thaw out completely. Bathroom is an outhouse. Directions for use in the outhouse.

There is cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and fat biking at near by at Rikert Outdoor Center. Burlington is about 40 minutes We also have the best swimming holes and hiking close by. Bartlett Falls, Lake Champlain, The Long Trail, Trail around Middlebury, Trail around Bristol....and many more to explore.
