The location was very peaceful, the views were stunning and the hookup was self explanatory. Our host was lovely and had a whole breakfast set up where she made us a fresh cooked breakfast. She had everything we could’ve needed and ensured we were looked after. Will definitely be visiting again.

Weekend Trip to The Rockin Robbins Ranch

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. What a beautiful experience to meet Lynnellen and be welcomed in that home. The tent on the trampoline is such a funny idea, and I slept great. I fell asleep to the sound of the rain and woke up to the songs of birds. Paradise stuff. But the best part is Lynnellen being a 10/10 host. I wish I had spent more time there, enjoying and helping in that house.

The host went the extra mile to accommodate all of our needs. The view was incredible and the breakfast, which we didn’t expect, just made the visit that much more enjoyable.

We camped in our Class B van with our corgi. Lynn was so nice and we chatted with her for a while and learned about the place and all she was doing. She was very helpful and we felt right at home. We had a great night's sleep and Lynn made us coffee and tea in the morning and gave us eggs for our trip down to Moab.

Nice little place up out of SLC. Lots of McMansions to view driving up. Right next to a very quiet road with hardly any traffic and there is the nice creek.

I appreciated Chad's hospitality, communication, and help navigating to the spot in the dark. The drive back to the canyon was great at night and the roads were clear and maintained in the winter (I was worried - Chad assured me they are safe). I woke up to the most amazing views, snow covered trees, and the running river completed the whole thing! I felt like I was in Narnia. Beautiful spot. Great host. Highly recommend. Thanks Chad!

We continue to honor the old ways of caring for free roaming chickens, growing food without chemicals, honey bee shelters, sharing our Hearth and Home with family and friends. We have been planting Hazelnut Trees, Chestnut Trees, Peach Trees, and a grove of old Oak Trees, old apple tree varieties, and of course our Mulberry trees... We have expanded our ranch to a few more acres for our cows to be able to have more room. Our Fire Pit is open to all guests. The wood for all designated fire areas is provided. There are BBQ Grills, Dutch Ovens, etc so you can cook out doors. The Outdoor hot water shower offers a place to cool down in summer heat... Water is always hot with our tankless water heater... We plant and tend vegetable gardens for our guests to share in the harvest. We plant Huggle Mounds in the spring... as well as grapes and assorted fruit trees... You are welcome to walk our Custom Labyrinth. You are free to wander the fields, gardens and orchards. When the garden is in bloom, help yourself... Most sites have air conditions or fans, as well as heaters in season. 110 power is at each site... We have a Grumpy Dragon Cafe outside with a help yourself breakfast bar. Picnic tables are provided at tent sites and at the Grumpy Dragon. WIFI is available at the Grumpy Dragon as well as at your camp site... Help your self to muffins, breakfast bars, beverages and fresh fruit. A refrigerator is outside for cold water and frozen water bottles. Coffee, tea and Hot chocolate is always available. This is a private driveway in a great location in Big Cottonwood Canyon. The driveway is long and surrounded by aspen, abutting the "old" unused house on my property, so it is private. Although near the main road, the site feels private. You are less than 1 minute walk to Big Cottonwood Creek, and there is hiking out the door in multiple directions, as well as easy biking to Solitude Resort. As a bonus, you are 1/4 mile from Silver Fork Lodge if you get a hankering for a prepared meal. Please note that there are NO DOGS allowed in Big or Little Cottonwood canyons. There is a high fine if so. So this is not an appropriate spot to bring your four-legged friends unfortunately.
