There are paths to walk, a stocked tank to fish in, (bass, catfish and blue gill), and oak and pecan trees to sit under and view the clouds as they drift overhead. The noises you hear will be cattle calling to their little ones, birds singing, and in the evenings, coyotes howling.

Brand new privately owned and custom built RV park and Campground set amongst mature elm and oak trees give that State Park look and feel. RV sites are easily accessible, level and have a caliche base. They include 12 full hook up spots including 4 pull through slots. Each site has a picnic table, pea gravel outdoor area and fire rings are available. Wild life and birds are abundant and the seasonal creek is a great place to explore. The beautifully constructed rustic Community building has a large porch and AC along with kitchen facilities is available for guest use. Primitive camping spots are located in an area a short distance from the RV sites and Community building. We stayed at Site 1 and absolutely loved it. The view of the riverbank was perfect, peaceful and beautiful. It was ultra quiet, which made it even more relaxing. Our kids (almost 2 and 7) had so much fun running around and playing games in the open space.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a calm, scenic spot to unwind with family!

Beautiful property with lake access. A wonderful camping adventure without having to haul any of the gear. My dog and I will definitely return. Barry is super nice and provided almost immediate responses. The downstairs of the main house has a pool table and bar available for all guests.

Absolutely awesome! Beautiful property and Barry was an outstanding host. He went above and beyond to take care of us, and the value of our time there greatly exceeded the cost. We were going to be getting in late and it was going to be a super cold night, and because he had no other guests that night, he graciously offered to let us stay in the Daisy at no extra cost! This would never be an expectation, but it was very kind of him. It was very clean and obviously well taken care of. We wish we had more time there to hang out and soak it more up, but this was just a quick trip passing through for us. We hope to visit again sometime soon!

Such a lovely place! We have stayed in many rental units over the years, but this was our first yurt (we are usually tent campers) and it was Wonderful. Clean and well kept with every detail considered. Bathrooms are easily accessible and also clean and welcoming. Sauna is the Best! (and they even provide bathrobes)! Despite the quick Texas-style weather change (from 75 to 40 overnight), we were warm and cozy inside. Our weenie dog even felt like she was home.

Really nice camping spots that's not too far from Fort Worth! We had such an amazing time the spot was perfect for stargazing and relaxing. There's not really any Internet service it was very spotty, but that's what makes it even better. It's nice to disconnect and enjoy the outdoors. The river is right at the camp spot easy access for kayak and paddle boards. Our dogs also loved this spot!

We loved camping on Regena’s land. She met us on the driveway and took us to our campsite. She picked one out for us that’s mostly grass, a nice newer picnic table, bucket potty that she emptied out for us, fire ring and trash bin. Her property was so private, Regena was the only person we saw. We loved the two nights we were there. Easy drive to Waco, we went antique store shopping and went to the Silos. Would highly recommend.
