Our goals are to establish a thriving community, grow most of our own food, build tiny houses to rent or sell, create sustainability and be as self sufficient as possible, salvage material for builds, host events and retreats, teach classes, and more. Our property is a densely forested 85 acres with a walk-able 2 miles around the perimeter of the property and many trails and hidden nooks to explore throughout the heart of this beautiful escape back to our natural roots. We are in the process of mapping out the trails- which we plan to make available soon! For now those of you with a sense of adventure and desire to explore will certainly be satisfied. We have a full acre size pond and a kayak that you can feel free to use. There is a communal area around the pond that we will be adding to in the near future- you may run into some of our community members or other campers there from time to time, we invite you to socialize, bring a chair, perhaps a beverage or snack and get to know each other and us as well if we cross paths! You will observe and encounter wildlife in abundance including a variety of birds, wild hogs, opossums, armadillo, moles, spiders, scorpions, butterflies, praying mantis, walking sticks, snakes- keep an eye out for rattlesnakes and copperheads, deer, many insects, and more. Please be cautious and treat these creatures' home with respect for them as well as yourselves. Our property is also home to some lovely cows, chickens, a few dogs, and several cats- they (other than the cows who do what they please) generally remain in areas away from our camp sites though they may still decide to stop by to say hello! We have many spaces available for camping throughout the property. These are primitive campsites on raw land so you will need to provide your own tent, water, food, and operate with a leave no trace mentality when camping here. There are areas that can accommodate large groups of campers as well as very secluded nooks if you are looking for a private retreat into nature. There is plenty of fallen wood available for firewood and a fire pit will be prepared for you before arrival!

We have many spaces available for camping throughout the property. These are primitive campsites on raw land so you will need to provide your own tent, water, food, and operate with a leave no trace mentality when camping here. There are areas that can accommodate large groups of campers as well as very secluded nooks if you are looking for a private retreat into nature. Great and secluded little spot on the river. There are more tent/rv sites nearby, but i had the whole area to myself. Bathroom was clean, well lit and close by. Camper covered the basics and ac/heater unit kept us comfortable. Thank you again for the quiet get away!

So a friend of mine recommended this spot and the family liked the idea of camping Christmas weekend so that's what we did. Booked the cute little camper and pitched a tent outside. It worked out perfect for a family of 4 adults & 2 littles. The camper is so adorable and was very comfortable. They've got a mini fridge, coffee pot w/ coffee provided and even had a TV! Guys were able to watch the football game on a big screen! Oh and did I mention it's air conditioned! Huge fire pit and the outhouse was pretty cool. 2 showers and toilet and just across from the camper which was very nice. Towels and shampoo were provided even. They had canoes to use at your discretion. A swing for small ones. Very much a nice & cozy spot and would definitely camp there again!

What a peaceful, cozy, comfortable spot, with the kindest hosts. The cabin was perfectly appointed. I needed a place to rest and recharge and I got exactly that. The outdoor shower was the icing on the cake. Pretty much nothing better than being sheltered by a wise old oak tree as you wash off that road dirt. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to see the more peaceful and humane side of Austin!

Loved the vibe of this place! I stayed in the airstream and it was so cute and fun. They put a lot of details that made my stay comfortable. The area is beautiful and having access to the Colorado River was awesome. We took rides in the golf cart and hung out at the pool. Super dog friendly and I appreciated how safe I felt in the space. The container bathrooms were clean and loved the set up. Also appreciated the showers having a bench and hooks. I can tell they put a lot of thought into the little things that make a good stay. Thank you again and will definitely be back!

The main difference is in the tents’ locations on our property and corresponding view. - The Grand Aztec: Provides the most open view of the lake and hill country. Located central on the property near the main fire pit and common areas. - The Grand Arrow: Also has a lake view, but with more trees, less open than the Grand Aztec. Located closer to the entrance of our property, farther from the common areas. Adirondack chairs and a hammock area is just out back (lakeside). - The Grand Tesoro: Private hill country view across the properties ravine. Located closest to the bathhouse, very central on our property. Also near the common areas. A private chiminea fire area under a grove of trees is nearby. The price for Grand tents is based on double or triple occupancy. A fourth guest is welcome for an additional fee ($50/nt), which you’ll see at booking. The Mini Aztec: Located between the Grand Aztec and Grand Arrow tents, with a private view of the lake and hills, and a private chiminea area. For younger children (age 8+) who want to sleep in the mini tent, we recommend the Grand Arrow for the parents because the mini is within view of the Grand Arrow porch.
