I stayed with my fiancée and pup at the Vintage Airstream Retreat and everything was perfect! The property and camper are decorated beautifully, and Landers was super accommodating, even bringing over tools to help get a campfire started. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Landers!

5 nights at Texas Honey Bee Farm

Tanya's property is a great home base for spending the day (and evening) hanging out in Austin, which is what we were in Austin for. Close enough for traveling into town, but far enough away that you feel like your a bit beyond the suburbs. You also have easy access to locations west of Austin. Our lot was level and plenty big for our truck and teardrop trailer and the bathroom was easily accessible and clean (and outdoor shower, which we did not use). Tanya was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Tanya's property for your trip to or through Austin.

A nice quiet oasis close to Austin. The camper van spots are big enough for two vehicles so plenty of room to spread out.

Weekend Trip to Breathe Deeply

Perfect spot for a little Austin getaway. We brought our dog along and found 3 places nearby that had music, dog parks, and beer! Close to Lake Travis for a day getaway to the lake. We did Jessica Hollis Park. The airstream had everything you could think of. Even a little speaker to take with us to the lake! The bed was comfy and it fit myself and my 6ft partner. Landers was very accommodating. We will definitely be returning for another weekend there.

Weekend Trip to The Cabins At Rim Rock

Steel Magnolia was perfect for my boyfriend & I. It was clean, cozy, and centrally located. There were a ton of activities to do and we got to see some wildlife. Communication with Keele was on point as well. We would definitely go back!

Weekend Trip to Twisted Oaks...

No frills car camping, highly recommended! John’s land is beautiful and has many sites to choose from with flat places for tents, fire ring, tables and chairs. John is friendly and so are his dogs. He’s done a lot of DIY projects like an outdoor shower, bucket flush toilet, disc golf holes (bring your own discs) and has a few campers, a dump truck and other equipment on site that might not feel like pure nature but it didn’t bother me. If you want a true “pristine natural area” look elsewhere but for weekend car campers it’s a great place. Firewood available on site. 15 mins from downtown.

I tent camped here in the back of my truck and loved it. There are some spots you can get to without anything special, but if you have a smaller acr be aware of where you're staying and the weather. I could imagine it would get difficult to traverse when raining if not prepared. Overall the place is beautiful with lots of trees and great spots to choose from to set up. I do wish there was a little better access to the water for swimming, its more suited for canoeing or fishing. The staff is great too! They're quick to respond, even if it's something like your truck battery dying 😂

This is a majestic location near Austin where families can take quick getaways to be surrounded in nature and with fun water activities along with the camping experience. They have it all! We just left and the whole family can’t wait till the next time we unplug. It’ll be here! Super friendly staff definitely seals the deal.

John was an amazing host and a great guy! This was my first time solo camping as a college student and he went above and beyond with making me feel welcomed on his beautiful property. From the extensive care he puts into this place to his friendly demeanor he was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had ! All the sites he offered were well maintained and you could tell he truly cared for preserving the nature here. He went as far as to check on me here in there while also giving me space to be secluded in my own little world of nature. Also only being 15 mins away from the city of San Marcos was a definite plus. I can’t write everything good I wanna say but not one negative or complaint from my side everything about this place is amazing!

Just the perfect distance to explore the city of Austin in one direction (25 minutes), and Dripping Springs (15 minutes) or even Pedernales Park (40 minutes) in the other. Host was responsive, friendly and helpful. Spots where quiet. Property was well kept.

For my first camping trip. I really enjoyed it. We had 6 adults 2 children and 6 dogs with us. The camping sites were very clean along with the showers. The staff were very attentive. I would def stay here again.

This is my home (35 years) I do not need any help redecorating or rearranging. Treat it as you would want your home treated by a guest. No tobacco if you choose to smoke do it in your vehicle. I work from my home, My workspace is separated from campsites and is off limits for your own safety. Campfires are tied to weather, strong wind low humidity and dry conditions will be considered when allowing permitted fires.... cook stoves are ok. 2 acres in the hill country with free ranging ducks and chickens. There are bee colonies scattered on the property as well. Open grassy areas as well as tree covered areas. This is a quiet neighborhood and wildlife is abundant. You may hear coyotes and a great horned owl at night. There is a honey bee themed gift shop on site that is regularly open Thu-Sat 10-6 that offers tastings and tours. There is a restroom and small sink area connected to store that is open 24 hrs. There are 2 LONG RV spots up to 45 feet in length BUT, they are back in only and the turn around area is tight if you have a BIG RIG. The 2 camper van sites are (Site 1) 32' and (Site 2) 22'. Ask me if you want to know more! It helps me to approve you more quickly if I know how tall/long your RV is. Especially if you are longer than 24 feet. You can text me info. There is an outdoor shower area near the dark brown tiny house that is a cold water shower only! :) Ask me if you need towels and/or body wash, etc. (I don't mind helping out so you can travel lighter!)
