Stayed the weekend in a small camper here. Site 9 has full hookups. It was a great location (very close to the state park, and not too far from Johnson City), and the grounds were very well kept. Ken was an accommodating and gracious host. Will stay again if back this way.

Weekend Trip to Hi-Line Resort

Man this was such an awesome experience with surprises that didn't disappoint. We only booked this spot for convenience. Got there and found out that they had their own crappie house....which is free for anyone staying at HiLine. Also, they have boat launcher available. Need a guide? They have local recommendations. It was so serene. We stayed an extra couple of days. Oh and the restaurant King Krabz on the Lake left us desiring more. I'm not sure how they get the crabs so fresh all the way out here, but let me tell you something....everything on the menu is superb. We went there 2 nights and didn't have leftovers. Suzanne and Jim are freaking awesome. Can't wait to go back!

Tent camping was super fun! The little camp sight was super quaint with a fire pit, grill, picnic table and chairs. The sunset views were gorgeous, the sky view was even better. The river is just a hop, skip and jump away. Llano and river is beautiful, crisp and cool. Perfect for splashing around 10/10

I’ve been on a 3 week road trip and this was the one of the best tent camping site I’ve been to! The drive to the campground was nice and the map was super helpful in getting around. Our host, Tammy, was so kind and friendly! She helped us figure out the bathhouse(s), nearby activities, and where to get gas. The ground was flat and the string lights helped make it more homey. The bathhouse near our site was very clean and a short walk away.

I had a great time here! The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Access to the river was excellent. Bathrooms and showers were clean and orderly. Proximity to town was great to get necessary last minute items. I will be back soon!

Weekend Trip to North Star Cove

The dome at North Star Cove was absolute perfection!! Our family (my husband & our 2 daughters) had an absolute blast and enjoyed getting away & immersing ourselves in nature! The fold out couch in the living room worked great for our 2 elementary aged kids. Plenty of linens and blankets and pillows. The bathroom and shower & kitchen were very nice! Air conditioners worked very well, and there’s a standing fan as well. We built a campfire, stargazed, played horseshoes, made s'mores, used the tree swing, and just had an AMAZING time together as a family! The outhouse bathroom was in great condition as well. The town of Llano was SO cute! We enjoyed the famous Cooper’s BBQ. The drive alone to North Star Cove was just simply gorgeous! We definitely want to return one day, and we highly recommend North Star Cove to anyone wanting to unplug and get away either as a couple or as a family!!! The Llano hill country is good for the soul!

Loved camping on this property. Really liked the amenities like having the fire pit, chairs, shower and toilets. Just be wary that since the bathrooms are open air up top that there's bugs that make their way in there. We were there on the weekend of mother's Day and since it wasn't the busiest weekend, we asked if we could leave our camper there a bit past our checkout and they let us go play around in the park and collect it when we were ready. 10/10

It was a nice quiet campground right next to the suspension bridge. You can easily access the bridge for pictures. Camp also had river access, but it was muddy the day we stayed.

The house is very spacious. So much room to spread out and not be cramped up. Our property features a shared, covered outdoor patio with a games court for corn hole, checkers, and bocce (checkers, boards and balls provided), gas fire pit, and a gas grill for those cooler nights. The patio is lighted with cafe lights. One of the RV slips is covered, while the other is nestled under a charming burr oak tree. On-site, we also offer a rental cabin. The covered RV slip is equipped with 30 and 50 amps, the other hookup is 50 amp, both have their own water and clean out connections. Both RV slips are on grass/dirt, and the entrance/exit is grass and dirt. Our property uses rain water recapture. Please conserve water when you can when cooking, washing up and cleaning. No washing of cars or RVs is allowed. Please note that there might be other guests staying on the property during your visit. Kindly be considerate of noise levels and how it may impact the experience of fellow guests. You may also be sharing amenities such as the grill, deck, outdoor kitchen, and games court. We welcome dogs, but it is your responsibility to manage their interactions with other guests' pets. Due to potential gaps or larger openings in the fencing, we recommend keeping your dog on a leash. The owners live on the far side of the property.
