A Texas Hill Country ranch with uncrowded “primitive” campsites about 8 miles from Fredericksburg and about 12 miles from Enchanted Rock. There is no running water, no electricity and no WiFi at the campsite. There is a picnic table, some chairs, a fire ring with some firewood and a portable toilet. This site is suited to tent camping, car camping and small RV "dry camping". There is relative privacy, hopefully starry nights and campfire provisions. Guests share a pasture with livestock and wildlife.
Weather in all its variations is part of camping. If you are not prepared to deal with whatever the weather may be, you should consider another option. We encourage guests to research this destination before booking, carefully review our cancellation policy, and consider buying travel insurance to protect against unexpected travel disruptions. Weather conditions are not an acceptable reason for a refund or change of reservation for this campsite.
Cellular service is limited here. AT&T provides a good signal in this area. HOWEVER **** SPRINT, VERIZON and T-MOBILE may have “VERY POOR” or “NONEXISTENT” cellular signals at this site.
We have neighbors, and although the place is relatively large, and we don't anticipate a problem, there is no guarantee that you will not be bothered by some kind of noise. Likewise, we don’t want our neighbors bothered by any noise coming from you. People live out in the country to enjoy separation of space. Please be considerate of others and keep noise to a minimum. Observe quiet time after 9 pm and before 8 am.
The country roads in this area are paved and they are excellent for walking, bicycling and driving. There are “cattle guards” in the roadways. Cattle guards are steel pipe obstacles along a road intended to prevent livestock, such as sheep and cattle from passing out of a fenced area.

Kaz always had a DREAM to help kids with Life Skills & Mentor in God’s Principles because she had Christian Mentors growing up! They were always there for her through her life and kept her focused down the right path and stayed out of trouble and learned a tremendous amount from them! Bill her husband supports her and they raised 7 children together and have 10 grandkids. Kaz father was Asperger's Autistic and from 5 years old started showing Kaz hands on learning skills that are still instilled in her today! She found this to be a Valuable Lesson from her Dad. These methods and skills through the years working with her own children and other children through the years with different organizations confirm to be very beneficial and encouraging for the children growing up. Bill and Kaz have shared equally through all they’re projects during they’re 40 years of marriage. They’re Jack Of All Trades, Artists, Shown in Art Shows, Remodeled Homes, Churches, Work on the Ranch Together, and Etc. A Texas Hill Country ranch with uncrowded “primitive” campsites about 8 miles from Fredericksburg and about 12 miles from Enchanted Rock. There is no running water, no electricity and no WiFi at the campsite. There is a picnic table, some chairs, a fire ring with some firewood and a portable toilet. This site is suited to tent camping, car camping and small RV "dry camping". There is relative privacy, hopefully starry nights and campfire provisions. Guests share a pasture with livestock and wildlife.
Weather in all its variations is part of camping. If you are not prepared to deal with whatever the weather may be, you should consider another option. We have neighbors, and although the place is relatively large, and we don't anticipate a problem, there is no guarantee that you will not be bothered by some kind of noise. Likewise, we don’t want our neighbors bothered by any noise coming from you. People live out in the country to enjoy separation of space. Please be considerate of others and keep noise to a minimum. Observe quiet time after 9 pm and before 8 am.
The country roads in this area are paved and they are excellent for walking, bicycling and driving. There are “cattle guards” in the roadways. Cattle guards are steel pipe obstacles along a road intended to prevent livestock, such as sheep and cattle from passing out of a fenced area.

Kaz always had a DREAM to help kids with Life Skills & Mentor in God’s Principles because she had Christian Mentors growing up! They were always there for her through her life and kept her focused down the right path and stayed out of trouble and learned a tremendous amount from them! Bill her husband supports her and they raised 7 children together and have 10 grandkids. Kaz father was Asperger's Autistic and from 5 years old started showing Kaz hands on learning skills that are still instilled in her today! She found this to be a Valuable Lesson from her Dad. These methods and skills through the years working with her own children and other children through the years with different organizations confirm to be very beneficial and encouraging for the children growing up. Bill and Kaz have shared equally through all they’re projects during they’re 40 years of marriage. They’re Jack Of All Trades, Artists, Shown in Art Shows, Remodeled Homes, Churches, Work on the Ranch Together, and Etc. We stayed in Cabin 13 and absolutely loved it! It had more amenities than we expected- a bathroom with towels, a kitchen with dishes, DVDs to choose from, etc. It was quiet and felt very safe and well tended to. We plan on going back again soon! My kids and I had a great time- my dog too!

The location was amazing. It’s within walking/running distance of Hamilton Pool. The campsite had everything we needed including water access immediately in the camp. The outdoor shower was an incredible experience. It had the feel of being out in the open wilderness but still somehow private. The owners are super cool and have laid this place out perfect. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Weekend Trip to Ranch 3232
This is my second time staying at Ranch 3232 and I loved it even more. Getting there from Austin is super easy and convenient. The campsite is always beautiful and well maintained. There is a kitchen shack with lots of pots and pans, cups, mugs, silverware, a coffee pot, and an electric hot water kettle. This site has the best of both worlds rustic and convenient.

The tent was nice and it's location was even better. Cliff is right outside the tent door overlooking the river.

Great place to stay! It was very quiet and had a great pit to make a cozy campfire! The full hookups were great and the staff are amazing! They make sure that you’re all set up and comfortable. And will make a trip back very soon!

We loved the site. Beautiful night sky and a feel that makes you believe you are the only ones there. Just a few minutes away from town for some of those things you may need and far enough so its quite. Would defiantly do again.

Colin’s land was beautiful & peaceful. I loved the spots on site 11, not close to others & still able to have privacy. What stood out the most was Colin, very understanding & helpful through our trip. I will most definitely come back & bring more people to enjoy the scenery & campground. Llanos river was beautiful as well, & stocked with trout.

Johnnie and Sheri are always extremely hospitable. They will make sure you're happy and that you have an extremely positive camping experience. The sites are all very private and really great. They also have several amenities for primitive camping that you don't always find which are nice to have. I would highly highly recommend this camping area for anyone to looking to stay in dripping springs. Ingo back again and again

Maggi’s, Ranch is stunning, filled full of beautiful animals. And the stars at night were simply amazing. The hosts did everything to make her stay comfortable, from guiding us into our spot. Setting us up with a campfire and letting us know about activities. Would definitely recommend!

We just finished up our overlanding trailer and wanted to find a spot a few hrs away from home to test it out. While Texas really doesn’t have a whole lot of public land, we thought an RV park would be perfect for the first trip. Our neighbors recommended Mason Tx to us and this park came up and looked perfect! Well sure enough it was!! We were immediately greeted upon entry and the gentleman was incredibly nice and helpful! Got to our site (4) and it was beautiful!! Nice and quiet with a gorgeous view! We even had the same helpful lady who answered our phone call, come out and check on us to make sure we were all set before the super cold front came in! 10/10, will definitely be coming back!!

My husband, dogs, and I stayed in The Hideout and it was the perfect cozy space with everything we needed. Communication was top notch and river access for fishing was a definite perk. We saw plenty of wildlife during our stay as well.
