Simply Wyldwood is a 10-acre homestead and mindful living retreat including a food forest at the edge of the woodland and an 800-square-foot movement space called My Yoga Barn. My Grandparents purchased this property in the '70s and my Grandfather wanted to live from the land and my Grandmother loved her community, bluebonnets, and roadrunners. I'm honored to now grow more food for my community and share this healing space in nature. This is a "choose your own adventure" experience. You can camp in the Yoga Barn or bring your own tent and sleep outside. During your stay, you are invited to relax or roll out your mat for yoga on the shaded deck or sun deck, in the Yoga Barn in the AC, and book a private Yoga/Meditation class or Mindful Forest Bathing Experience from your host who is an instructor in both. Enjoy strolling through the trails on the property and touring the food gardens viewing chickens roaming on the way. There is a full bath in the Barn and a private hot/cold outdoor shower to use to cool off during the day and has a lovely view of the stars overhead at night. There is outdoor seating on the deck of the Yoga Barn along with a ping-pong table and gas grill. Meals are outside on the deck. You can bring your own food or visit a neighboring restaurant. Your hosts are Foodies and happy to help you find something. We are 5 minutes from McKinney Roughs Nature Center, Zip Lost Pines, and Hyatt Lost Pines. Experience the Magic of Our Urban Farm Retreat Welcome to Eden East Farm -a five-acre working farm & gathering space just steps from downtown Bastrop. Rooted in deep agricultural history, this lush urban oasis is where the rhythm of nature meets the warmth of community. Pitch your tent beneath the dappled shade of century-old pecan trees or nestle closer to the heartbeat of the farm, where compost turns to rich soil, vegetables thrive & life grows in every direction. Here, we grow over 40 varieties of hyper-seasonal produce... vibrant heirloom carrots, sweet peppers, okra, tomatoes, squash & more. Using you guessed it! Sustainable & regenerative practices. Guests are invited to roam freely, visit our chickens & ducks, and soak up the real workings of farm life. You’ll likely see our farmer tending beds or our chef harvesting for lunch & dinner service, because this is more than a place to stay, it’s a living, breathing experience. Fresh water are available year-round. Port-o-potties are provided during the spring & fall seasons when we host more guests and events. AND while the farm feels like a peaceful hideaway, you're just one mile from Store House Eatery, our farm-to-table restaurant offering elegant dinners Wednesday through Sunday + lunch & brunch Wednesday through Sundays. All inspired by what’s growing right here. Our on-site Farm Stand is open Wednesday & Saturday mornings from 9 to 1, where you can grab seasonal produce, house-made goods, and a taste of what’s to come. Keep an eye out for farm pop ups all year round! Whether you’re here to unplug, connect with the land or enjoy a hyper-local meal under the stars, we invite you to slow down, dig in, and make yourself at home.

A short 10-minute trip to Bastrop for shopping, river activities, and Bastrop State Park.
