There is over a quarter mile of Brazos riverfront property although you cannot get to the river on all of it due to it being in its natural state. Granbury Wine Walk and Winter Wine Walk in the Historic Granbury Square. Walking through the park and the square is just magical at Christmastime. Easy Like a Sunday Morning is nestled just outside the city limits of Granbury, Texas (approximately 3 miles from Granbury Historic square) @ a private residence just outside the city limits. New laundry facility down the road, dump station @ Thorp Springs RV park (20 dollars), Davids Grocery store and Dollar General, all only .03 miles away. This is not really a vacation destination but more a safe place to stay coming to town to explore all Granbury has to offer or a place to catch your breathe while traveling on the road.
Friends have enjoyed escaping here for years. I decided to share the zen. It's a bit rough around the edges but if the new venture succeeds it will only get better each time you visit. Patio with a view of Lake Granbury and surrounding valley of at least 3 counties.

Come stay on our 100 acre Richard Creek Valley getaway, gently tucked away on the north slope. There are four campsites on the property and they are all at least 150 yards away from each other. Each site is private. When the ground is dry there is access for all vehicles. When the ground is muddy, Brookside, RiverRock, and Richardson Creek campsites require a 4-wheel drive and have alternate routes to get to them. Ancient Oaks is an all-weather site. You can enjoy hiking and swimming in Richardson Creek when water levels permit. Canoeing from Bakers Crossing put-in which is only 3 miles away.

I won't lie I was worried when we got there. But the place and the people were amazing! Being right on the river was so nice and in our campsite we had a small family of cardinals for the entire weekend!
I can't recommend this place enough especially if you have a family or pets. Truly magical.

Stayed at "the point" a nice view and acess of the river a lovely spot the hidden charm of this place is the animal they keep at the farm a whimsical feeling of hearing Zchickens goats and peacocks in the distance with plenty of natural critters to hear an see around and across the rivers. The host of the site are very kind and nice to talk to.

Gary was a kind host, we only spoke to him a few minutes unfortunately. The view of the cows was really nice. The bull was really sweet and they just had a calf. This isn’t the most fancy place but it is really nice with nice people and a good view.

The directions to the sites were very easy, and even though Amy was away, we were able to easily get in contact with her and get settled in. We stayed at “The Point” site. The toilet was super clean and recently stocked, having been maintained well. The grounds themselves were similarly kept.
On the site we saw river otters! That was fun. There are also lots of gar, herons, snakes and turtles to see in the river. We really loved that. The only downside I’d say is the neighbors dog’s that like to bark at everything. But they settle down quickly and didn’t bother us much.
Overall it was a good night’s stay! We’d come here again.

While I did end up having a great time..However..I saw a photo of the Riverside Campground where I stayed on the Hipcamp app which is what made me wanna book it….and it didn’t look anything like where I actually camped. I made the best of it though and pitched my tent in such a way it was overlooking the river. The fishing was great and the area is quite..But I also kinda felt like I was being watched..Idk..maybe it had something to do with the sign that said 24 hour surveillance that’s posted on the gate. I didn’t meet the host personally but she was communicating through the app which is fine. She seems Ike a very nice lady. I just wanna know where the spot was on the photo I seen. That’s where I envisioned I’d be camping.

Amy was very sweet. The animals were great. The river was very enjoyable. We went for a mid week break and enjoyed fishing in the river and basking in the sun. It is a little difficult to get into the river from the campsite but there’s a section near the pavilion that is much easier.

We loved the hidden nature of our stay. Driving through the hills and down long winding roads was a perfect welcome into the area. Sam and Sarah were very attentive and passionate about their land and the sites. We enjoyed the little red barn and were able to purchase a few dozen fresh eggs from the chickens on the farm. Very cozy spot that is easy to get to. Lots of open space and the creek next to camp is nice.
There are a ton of sheep and goats there as well which was cool! However they will probably get in your way but just wait and they will clear out and keep their distance.
Only complaint I have is the road and animal noises get a little loud at late night but it didn’t ruin the overall experience for me.
It’s also a good place to stay if you’re visiting Dinosaur Valley State Park since it’s only about 20 minutes away.
Overall I had a nice stay for a quick weekend get away, I can see myself coming back.

I really enjoyed this spot along a creek feeding the Brazos River that's just a walk away from camp. I was able to take a shower (cold) and charge up my power station. It was quiet, secure, and I stayed for a couple of days. Definitely will return next time I'm in the area!

Camping here was just what we needed for a quick disconnect from the city. The site was beautiful, peaceful, and easily accessible.
