Come stay in our sweet semi off grid cabin just between Austin and Marble Falls Tx. Near beautiful Lake Travis.
Upon arrival you can park in the flat dirt driveway in front of the boat. The trail up to the cabin begins right there.
There’s a short somewhat steep hike from the parking area by the road up to the cabin. Again the trail is steep and approximately 30 yards long. Keep this in mind because your belongings will have to be carried up the trail. If you have 4x4 you can drive up top closer to the cabin. This is a glamping experience and you will need sleeping pads, bags and pillows. We do not provide bedding. The cabin sleeps 4. 2 on the futon and 2 (preferably kids sized humans) up in the loft. There is electricity but no running water, so bring water. There a/c heat and a mini fridge/freezer. Also a sweet vintage hifi system with a good vinyl collection. It also had Bluetooth capability.
Turkey Bend recreation area on Lake Travis it’s just a couple of miles down the road. Marble Falls and Austin are both about the same distance away approximately 17 miles. Hidden Falls adventure Park is approximately 7 miles away. Lago Vista Texas is the closest city with restaurants and gas stations and grocery stores. This property is on a dirt road and light pollution in minimal so this is a great place to stargaze! The parking area is also dirt and somewhat uneven. Welcome to East Austin! My property is in walking distance to some real Austin gems including Palomino Coffee and Sahara Lounge. It is 8 minutes from downtown Austin and easy to bus from. The tiny trailer is adorable and full of gorgeous natural light and rainbows. We even have an above ground pool that we fill for the long summers, but I must admit that pool maintenance can be a bit complicated. So no promises!
*My buddy Geoff stays on the property and shares the yard amenities. He keeps to himself unless you can't get a hold of me and absolutely need something.

Camp in the city! We're 2 miles from the middle of downtown Austin but have been pretending we're not for a long time. Do the city but retreat to a little oasis nestled under a giant Live Oak tree. A lot of care went into our little cabin complete with an outdoor shower under the Oak, everybody's favorite! The cabin features a queen bed and a full bed/couch, a kitchenette and more. Stayed at this property for a girls weekend! we were absolutely obsessed with the outdoor shower. picnic table was nice to hang out in the morning before it got too hot. AC worked great inside and the bed was really comfy. we loved our weekend so much. we had no problem walking to bars/food on the east side but we are avid walkers, might be far for anyone who isn’t.

Nice little cabin. Host was very accommodating. Outdoor shower was actually pretty cool. Its only 2 miles from Hidden Falls so a great alternative. There is also a river side park about a mile down the same street that is a very nice hangout spot.

Weekend Trip to Breathe Deeply
My fiancé and I had a great time staying in the airstream! The airstream was roomy and the bed was super comfortable. Landers has just about everything you could need on a relaxing get away. The outdoor shower was somewhat close to the other site but we felt that we had privacy during our time there. We loved getting to watch the ducks and love on the dogs on the property!

Travis was really nice and very accommodating. My daughter and granddaughter wanted to go camping but I found this place and it was a nice balance. The AC worked well and the cabins were cozy. He has canoes and a paddle boat.
We started a fire in the fire pit and sat around the fire talking. We will be returning.

Tamara and Landers were great hosts, very welcoming, friendly and cool people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the modern airstream. It was a nice getaway from downtown Austin. We also managed to cook steak over the cauldron that Tamara kindly helped us set up. Would definitely come back again if we have the chance!

Weekend Trip to Urban Hideout
Beautiful yard, I enjoyed exploring and we even got to climb the big tree! The cabin is clean and has lots of space to lie down and rest. Didn’t get to try the shower but it looks real charming. Going to the outhouse was also a neat experience. Brent came out to greet us when we first arrive, so we felt very welcomed!!

The place was great! The gated area was huge, plenty of room for the dogs to play fetch and chase each other around. Airstream has everything you need. Hosts were super accommodating, let us borrow salt and butter which we had forgotten. We would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Magical Lakefront Retreat Property
Wonderfully relaxing. It's a short drive from Austin, but you feel miles away. The minute we stepped foot on Travis's land, we felt calm and content. The blue loft was clean, fun, and funky. Kiddo took the loft bed since my creaky knees couldn't handle the ladder. The downstairs futon is good for sleeping, so we both had our own spaces. The AC was wonderfully cool which was necessary in the heat of the summer. Mornings and evenings were cool in the shade. It was nice to pick one of the various picnic spots scattered about to have breakfast tacos and coffee and in the morning. We brought our paddleboards, but it was much too windy to go on an adventure. Instead, we tied them up to the floating boathouse and and watched a few boats and jet skis having fun while rotating from swimming about to floating with the waves. The covered deck of the floating boathouse it so nice and shady and the perfect spot to get out of the sun for a bit. We had dinner at some of the awesome places that Travis recommended-- The Lighthouse on the Lake & Angel's Ice House. While out & about we got breakfast and snack supplies. All good. It was the perfect getaway!
