Situated on the side of my house, the site is 95' long. 38' of which is along my house. The width between the house and fence is 18 feet. This should fit any RV with 2 slides and awning being open. The entire lot is fenced in, granting guests(and pets) full use of the pool and yard. Enjoy privacy with no neighbors in the back and an 8' side fence where your RV will be parked. The lot is a city sized lot, less than 1/5 acre, but HipCamp won't let me put in less than 1 acre. Pictures show my white/red retro RV as well as other RV's and how they have fit with and without my RV. Backing in is best for trailers - motorhomes/vans can go forward or back in. You may find maneuvering backwards a bit challenging due to the angle from the street through the front gate and my house overhang. It can be done...it just may take a village! :o) There's plenty of room to tandem park a towed vehicle in front of your RV(fenced in too!), and both 50amp and 30amp electric hookups are located on the back side of my house near the water hookup. (NOTE: Hipcamp will not let me notate in the fields that I have a 50amp AND a 30amp, thus I have 2 sites listed. I have had 2 RV guests stay at same time, but will not book that unless I get the ok from all parties.) LIVE sewer hookup isn't available because my clean-out is in the front of the house. Dumping can be done on the way in/out or with a portable tank.. Nestled in a charming, gentrifying neighborhood, expect the pleasant hum of city sounds (not overly loud) and glimpses of starlit skies. The cabins are some of the last old fishing camps from the 1950's that have been remodeled. They are very up to date and come fully furnished. Very spacious and comfortable for a nice relaxing stay. The house is very spacious. So much room to spread out and not be cramped up. Large patio with a table and chairs, gas BBQ grill, very nice large round fire pit, boat ramp if you bring your boat, and fully equipped kitchen.

Sometimes you can find arrowheads. Some of the forest burned down in the great Bastrop wildfire in 2011, but it has grown back. Mobile phones work well here. Strong signal. Only 5 miles from Pedernales State Park (water seen in photos), enjoy undisturbed, beautiful hill country scenery and amazing sunsets. It's only a five-minute drive to Johnson City and about a 30-minute to Fredericksburg. Drive right up to your campsite—lots of live oak trees to choose from for shade. We have lots of Adirondacks to sit in throughout the property as well as a propane fire pit with Adirondacks that you can sit in for a fire pit experience. It is very dark at night and the stars are amazing.

I had a great stay at this camper spot! The host was incredibly accommodating and made everything super easy and comfortable. The space was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We really enjoyed the setup and the overall vibe of the place. We’ll definitely be staying here again! Weekend Trip to Hill Country Glamping Photo Safari

My husband, dogs, and I stayed in The Hideout and it was the perfect cozy space with everything we needed. Communication was top notch and river access for fishing was a definite perk. We saw plenty of wildlife during our stay as well.

My friends and I had an absolute blast on the pasture mingle campsite. I will say though, if you’re looking for a lot of privacy, you’ll probably want to go with the mother tree location. Since this campsite is next to the barn where horse rides begin, there were people coming in and out a lot during our stay. Didn’t bother us, and we preferred being right up next to the horses, with two sheep roaming and playing around for us to watch. I’d recommend this spot to families with kids who like animals, and the mother tree location for people who want more of the private river spot. Overall we were very pleased.

Craig was a fantastic host, and his assistant Matt was so kind and helpful! We really enjoyed the property, it was breathtaking with all the pine trees around! The fact that my dog was allowed to roam and explore really took the stress of keeping her leashed off me so I could finally relax as well….probably the best thing about the trip! The private bathroom and shower were also a plus! 10 out of 10! Thanks Craig and Matt!

My stay was fabulous. I was greeted when I arrived by Tanya and soon met her sweet bitsy Yorkie baby. I was fortunate to get there while the store was still open. Weekend Trip to P² Farm | Scenic River Camping

My girlfriend and I had a magical weekend at the ranch. It was easy to find- close to Georgetown which has a nice market on Saturdays- yet remote enough to stargaze. We rode horses and played with the goats, ponies, and a litter of 8 7-week old puppies. At night the hosts brought us plenty of firewood for our spot near the horse pasture. It was a very fun and friendly experience all around.

My husband and I camped here for the weekend and loved it. The site felt private but not too far from the main house should an emergency arise. We walked the property down to the Colorado river and it was a beautiful little hike. The site is close enough to Austin that we spent sometime exploring the city as well. Giovanny was an excellent host! Oh ALSO we were blessed to have a sweet orange cat hang with us in the evenings, we called him Chico and was a pleasant surprise additional guest. Will definitely stay again!

Absolutely everything is what you would expect. This was an oasis hidden in an unexpected place. I came for solitude and a menu for each meal, just to toss is out of the window and explored the eateries within distance (thanks Tamara!). I will definitely be back with the family and more, I want everyone to know, this is a place of peace and freedom. Weekend Trip to East Austin City RV Spot near River

We had an absolute blast staying at Lucy’s RV spot in East Austin! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel right at home. The site was level, fairly easy to back into, and had everything we needed—electricity, water, a spot to dump, privacy, and plenty of room to relax after exploring the city. Lucy was incredibly kind, welcoming, and quick to help with anything we needed. Her dog Toby was the sweetest — he made our stay even more special with his friendly personality and daily visits! The location couldn’t be better: so close to downtown Austin. Having access to the pool and green space was a huge plus, and it made the stay feel like a mini vacation instead of just an RV stop. If you’re looking for a quiet, well-kept RV spot near the heart of Austin, this is the one! Thanks again to Lucy (and Toby!) for being such amazing hosts — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.
