-We also have 2 campsites on the open space for tent setup and camping under the stars. (no outdoor fires allowed) Access to the outdoor shower and pool bathroom.

Sleeping arrangements include a private bedroom with a full size bed along with a full size futon in the living area, both with fluffy pillows and down comforters. The kitchen has a large stainless steel vessel sink, 2 burner cooktop, small microwave oven, refridgerator/freezer and exposed shelves with all the cookware, dishes and utensils you will need. The bathroom is small but efficient with a built in shower, pivot glass door and tiled from floor to ceiling. Complete with high speed WifI access and a fully adjustable flatscreen LED television with a ridiculous amount of stations, including many movie channels.
Finished out with solid bamboo floors, stained oak walls, a sleek aluminum ceiling, and dimmable recessed and pendant lighting, this unique space is comfortable, practical and pretty.
Outside your front door is a well lit wooden deck with outdoor seating and your own private, fenced in yard. A dedicated parking spot is right outside the gate. The entire space is private, safe and secure.

WATER LEVEL and FLOW
The water level in photos are accurate. The water level has dropped 12 feet since March 2023, to rebuild the dam that created our lake. There is a certain flow requirement downstream from our property, so we maintain a minimum flow and consistent level/depth regardless of rainfall.
Depth varies from 4 feet at our stairs to 10+ feet in the middle of the channel. Additionally, there's no boat traffic, so it's ideal for kayaking and fishing year round.
Water flow slows in warmer seasons, and plumes of button moss intermittently float up from the bottom, collecting at water's edge. We still swim among the button moss, but it may not be ideal for some. Unfortunately, there's no way to predict when it will emerge and how long it stays.

We host weekly meditation and yoga for our guests and have a 24/7 grab-and-go cafe on site for late night snacks. We also have a Tribe Market with handmade goods, mindful books handpicked by the owner, and gifts to purchase and take with you. Guests enjoy showering under the stars in one of our outdoor showers and compliment us on the well decorated outhouse that we have cleaned daily by our amazing team. There is a community pool that's a short trail walk next door to our sister retreat for dips in the pool during warmer days. Complete with high speed WifI access and a fully adjustable flatscreen LED television with a ridiculous amount of stations, including many movie channels.

WATER LEVEL and FLOW
The water level in photos are accurate. The water level has dropped 12 feet since March 2023, to rebuild the dam that created our lake. There is a certain flow requirement downstream from our property, so we maintain a minimum flow and consistent level/depth regardless of rainfall.
Depth varies from 4 feet at our stairs to 10+ feet in the middle of the channel. Additionally, there's no boat traffic, so it's ideal for kayaking and fishing year round.
Water flow slows in warmer seasons, and plumes of button moss intermittently float up from the bottom, collecting at water's edge. We still swim among the button moss, but it may not be ideal for some. Unfortunately, there's no way to predict when it will emerge and how long it stays.

such a lovely spot in the hill country! the cabin was very cozy and comfortable for my family of 4. it’s situated perfectly to watch the sun rise and set and see the stars at night. marlena was also a wonderful host and very responsive.
we also loved paying the hens a visit!
