Weekend Trip to Glamp 8 minutes fm Downtown ATX

Erica’s spot is perfectly glampy. The trailer is so cute, very clean and tidy, highly functional, and modular. The trailer is small which is what I was looking for since I was flying solo for my weekend trip. I could see a couple staying here if they don’t mind being in close quarters. The AC unit feels AMAZING. The little table folds up easily so that you can transform the futon into a bed. The trailer is in her backyard which includes another tiny residence (whom you share a bathroom with, the bathroom is its own structure). The backyard has lots of cute lizards and squirrels and unique decorations that Keeps Austin Weird in the best way possible. Erica is incredibly friendly and helpful and responds quickly. Looking forward to booking this spot again in the future.

Weekend Trip to Vintage Airstream on Rocky Ranch

My partner and I loved our stay! The airstream is very charming and highly functional. We loved the four very chill cows on the property that would stroll by. AC worked great and the bed was cozy. Would def recommend.

We have been to many glamping sites in TX but I have not seen such a beautiful site with a high elevation view. The host made it extra special sending us a small gift to celebrate our anniversary.. A beautiful night under the stars that you won't forget!

This was my second stay at this location and I choose a different campsite this time. The Juniper Site was convenient to get to, parking was super close, and it was just secluded enough to make me file right at home in nature and allow me to relax and recharge after a brutal work week. Directions and descriptions are spot-on and the host is always very responsive if you have any questions or concern. I'll definitely be staying here again in the future!

Weekend Trip to Secluded Treehouse/AC, Real Privacy

Me and my family loved this treehouse! It was tons of fun for the kids - there are games, puzzles, kayaks, a canoe, a cargo net, arts & crafts and a nice little "hike" on the property. The water was low but the host sent us another spot we could checkout closeby if we wanted more water- turns out there was plenty still to entertain the kids. There are pantry staples and basic seasonings, a small electric cook top thing, a few pans/pot, mini fridge, kettle, coffeemaker and a toaster oven. If you find you need something you are nearby a store (but don't worry, this is a nice isolated place. I never felt like there was anyone nearby! I did hear some loud music a couple of times at night, maybe from a neighbor? but it subsided around midnight and wasn't *too* loud.) There are 3 cute ducks that hang around and a bunch of cardinals and other small songbirds that pop up- one even greeted me in the shower, haha. The weather was perfect - especially for sleeping outside in the hanging bed. The host is super nice and will answer quickly! If you are thinking of booking, for a romantic getaway or a little fun with the kids (or both) - you can find it here.

Weekend Trip to Glamp 8 minutes fm Downtown ATX

Simple space in a great location close to all the cool east side spots and downtown and accessible to major roadways for exploring all the great city of Austin has to offer! It was a great combo of rustic nature in the heart of the city. Being in the heart of the city brings city noises so be prepared if you're a light sleeper and bring your earplugs or AirPods for some green noise cancellation. The outdoor shower was a lovely way to start my morning!

Our property is a densely forested 85 acres with a walk-able 2 miles around the perimeter of the property and many trails and hidden nooks to explore throughout the heart of this beautiful escape back to our natural roots. We are in the process of mapping out the trails- which we plan to make available soon! For now those of you with a sense of adventure and desire to explore will certainly be satisfied. We have a full acre size pond and a kayak that you can feel free to use. There is a communal area around the pond that we will be adding to in the near future- you may run into some of our community members or other campers there from time to time, we invite you to socialize, bring a chair, perhaps a beverage or snack and get to know each other and us as well if we cross paths! You will observe and encounter wildlife in abundance including a variety of birds, wild hogs, opossums, armadillo, moles, spiders, scorpions, butterflies, praying mantis, walking sticks, snakes- keep an eye out for rattlesnakes and copperheads, deer, many insects, and more. Please be cautious and treat these creatures' home with respect for them as well as yourselves. Our property is also home to some lovely cows, chickens, a few dogs, and several cats- they (other than the cows who do what they please) generally remain in areas away from our camp sites though they may still decide to stop by to say hello! We have many spaces available for camping throughout the property. These are primitive campsites on raw land so you will need to provide your own tent, water, food, and operate with a leave no trace mentality when camping here. There are areas that can accommodate large groups of campers as well as very secluded nooks if you are looking for a private retreat into nature. There is plenty of fallen wood available for firewood and a fire pit will be prepared for you before arrival!
