In the morning we had scheduled for the complimentary animal feeding and the experience was awesome. Cherise met us at the barn as scheduled at 9 AM sharp and provided us with a good amount of treats for all the farm animals. It was really nice to be able to give the donkeys, goats, Horse, horses, miniature cow, and chickens their morning breakfast. Cherise even allowed my two siblings a ride on one of the horses which we thought was really nice and a great experience for the kids. Oh, and she has a really beautiful turkey and peacocks on site as well. Overall, we had a fun time here and would definitely love to come back to check out the glamping tent.

We stayed in a Travel Trailer. The power was set for any type power needed. Good clean water and sewage available at the front or back of the unit. Good amount of property available to give my dog a walk on leash. He enjoyed all the new smells. Many friendly chickens. A very enjoyable time. Would recommend to all.

I’m so glad I found this spot! We were in Conroe for a two day event over the weekend and this was perfect for our needs. Nice level concrete pads, plus hookups and there is even a washer/dryer available (we didn’t need it for our short stay). Jeanna and her husband greeted us on arrival and showed us where to go - very friendly and helpful people! Jeanna was very good with communication leading up to our visit. The area is very quiet and peaceful and there are some nice trees that provide some shade. I will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in the area for another event!

We stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing time! The property was perfect for a family trip — clean, beautiful, and full of activities for everyone. They had a miniature putt-putt course, a bounce area, playground, swimming pool, fishing pier and more! A few of us even enjoyed kayaking together on the water. (Kayaks cost extra to rent). It felt peaceful yet fun, with plenty of activities to keep everyone happy. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to other families looking for a relaxing, activity-filled getaway!

5 nights at The Retreat RV Resort

My family really enjoyed The Retreat. We had 8 people in our group and stayed in one of the cabins. It was a tight squeeze but we made it work. We really liked the pool and other amenities that were provided. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We bothered them a lot with towel, toilet paper, and trash bag requests. There was wifi in the clubhouse and in the cabins. You can rent golf carts to drive around in and cabanas around the pool. My only complaint is that the only shade around the pool was the cabana, and the Texas sun is not forgiving. All together, it was a great stay and we would definitely return.

Serene, private, 2+ acre site, surrounded by piney woods. Exactly what we were looking for! William is a gracious host, attentive yet only appeared when we called on him. Site has every electrical hookup you can think of. Our dogs were able to go off-leash and they had a ball. If you know how to make your own fun, this is the campsite for you! 5-Stars
