Enjoy a weekend getaway on this 7.6 acres primitive land. Sunsets and star gazing are amazing here. Bring your tent and setup in 2 different camp areas or wherever you prefer. Fires are permitted in the fire pits that are provided in two different areas of the land. Our land is divided in the middle where you are able to park. Bikes and atvs are welcome, there are trails for walking, a small hill by the pond that you can easily hike and open areas where atvs can fit all around the perimeter of the property. If an area isn’t open don’t attempt to use for your own safety. You can gather firewood from branches or trees that are laying around the property. Please do not cut or harm any trees. Because this is a primitive camping site there is no water or electricity. Make sure you bring your own drinking water or water for any personal use. Compost Bathrooms will have some water for showering but if this runs out you will have to provide your own, these bathrooms are covered with 3 walls but are pretty private a few feet away from the campsites. There is a pond towards the back of the property. This is collected rain water and it just sits there, there are small fishes in there but we suggest no swimming as it can have bacteria. We usually walk around it with rain boots. By the pond you will be able to see lots of beautiful birds while relaxing in the various chairs provided as well as a swing. Trash bins are not provided so please carry out your trash. Please help us to maintain our land clean. Since there is so many acres we are still in the process of cleaning out what the other owners left behind. We do have neighbors so please be mindful. Cows also roam around the property but are separated by a fence but you do hear them once in a while and sometimes you can see them up close. These cows do not belong to us so please let them be. A train passes near by too so keep that in mind. Any other questions you may have feel free to message me and I will respond as soon as possible. There is phone reception in this area so you don’t have to worry about losing cellphone service. *if you are bringing any pets keep in mind that if you wish to keep them off leash we are not responsible for any harm. The property is pretty cool actually, has a creek running through the entire property, plenty of dead wood for campfires (responsable fires). The property is inside of a gated community sometimes the gate is open with construction crews and sometimes it is closed and will need a code. The community that the property is inside of all of the lots are 20+ Acres each and there are not a ton of people that have actually moved out there yet. Keep in mind this is a developing Ranch Community so the roads are a bit JACKED UP at the moment to be honest, if you have a low slung car or a really nice car this spot may not be for you, SUV's Trucks, hell even Minivans probably will be just fine. There are tons of wild animals on the property from boars, deer, coyote, snakes, rabbits, turtles, big predator birds, and 2 mountain lions/cougars have been spotted on game cameras throughout the community. My goal is growing all the livestock in an environment outside where they can live normal lives eating bugs and grass, enjoying the sun and rain and through holistic management creating more sustainable pastureland for the future. Our main rule is please enjoy observing the ranch life but do not harass the animals. We live in the country please do not be too loud or cross outside of our ranch boundaries. My neighbors have lived here or moved here for their own peace and solitude as well... be respectful of that and enjoy your stay in the country. The ranch is located in the Piney Woods of eastern Texas and consists of 95.26 acres mostly in open grazing land with dispersed pine and oak trees in small groupings and along the fence lines. The ranch has a nearly a 1/4-acre upper pond and an elongated narrower lake that is close to 1 and a 1/2-acre below the upper pond to the west. There is a fenced in just over 1/2 acre area just north of the upper pond. The ponds gain water from natural spring flow and rainwater. Cook Creek runs through the entrance area off of FM 2022 on the northwest side of the property. The creek is year-round but normally is only a few inches deep but does have a few deeper pools of water. The ranch has about 65+ acres of gentle rolling hills of open pasture. The pastures consist of bahia, maxio and angusta ryegrasses, with mostly coastal grasses with some red and white clover mixed with natives. The ranch also has a diverse group of wildlife including but not limited to coyotes, white tail deer, roadrunners, racoons, possums, wild pigs and hawks of different species. We have spotted a golden eagle on the ranch within the last few months. We have a couple juvenile bald eagles on the north-northwest side of the property. Our large great blue heron is back from his migration south. Several kingfishers are nesting near the large lake. Several other migratory birds and waterfowl also traverse the ranch during their travels north and south through the area. The night sky is amazing! If nothing else brings you here. You must come enjoy the view of the milky way and thousands of stars visible in our south-east Texas night sky. Photos of the night sky have been added to the listing... do not miss them! I really enjoy just leaning back in a zero-gravity chair and getting to view the sky when not looking through my 8in Meade Coma-Free Smith-Cassegrain telescope. I often have the scope setup and visitors are more than welcome to come view the wonders that our night sky has to offer on most clear nights. Bring a fishing pole to see if you have any luck catching a bream, sunfish, small mouth or largemouth bass. We do have turtles as well. The biggest and meanest is the alligator snapping turtles best to just cut the line than try to take your hook or lure back from these guys.

Weekend Trip to The Ranch At Beulah

I had so much fun with my pup at the ranch! It was a wonderful experience and one I absolutely want to have again. My dog and I were able to explore the property and I love that he was able to be off leash. He is a very well behaved dog and it was lovely he got to be wild and free. Can’t wait to escape the city lights and enjoy nature again.

Paula is so sweet and accommodating, very quick to return calls and messages. The site has its own style of charm and feels very private and secluded. The dock is big and we had one of the best star gazing nights ever. Really big sky! The road noise is the only negative which I read in other posts. It seemed like background noise to me but kept others awake. Overall We had a great time. Thanks Paula!

Heath and his place were amazing! Heath communicated with us before our arrival so we would know exactly what to expect. He checked in on us during our stay, and even gave us a tour when he was feeding the animals. His ranch was peaceful and beautiful. We would definitely visit again!

Weekend Trip to GoldenHour L&P Land

Excellent camping spots offering privacy and convenience. We set up camp near the pond, which has lovely views and multiple great spots for tents. The toilet were near the camp sites, but far enough away to offer privacy. The dogs absolutely loved being off leash and running around the pond. There is a little bit of traffic noise, but overall a wonderful stay.

The hosts were very welcoming. Great stay. Lit tent at night made a great evening while sitting by the campfire! Plenty of firewood. We will definitely stay again.

Fenced 1/2 acre compound just north of upper pond. Fresh potable well water now available. One of the more permanent composting toilets (outhouses) located at this location. Outdoor shower avaialble. Liimited 20amp service available.

We loved camping on Heath's land! The views were amazing and the field was wide open to view the stars at night! Heath was most informative and welcoming. The cows graze in the field we camped on and came close as they were curious but nothing that wasn't expected. This is a very peaceful place and not far from the nearest city. We will be back to enjoy this beautiful place!

Weekend Trip to GoldenHour L&P Land

We enjoyed our time on Paula’s land! The Golden Hour was beautiful by the pond, with almost 180 degrees view of sunset. We chose to tent camp right by the pond. My boys got to fish and we saw quite a few critters - frogs, turtles, and a few snakes. You can hear the highway, but it wasn’t an issue for us. The main campsite was beautiful too, but we liked having close access to the pond. Our dog is use to off leash, so this was perfect for him. Paula’s neighbor has dogs, but our dog doesn’t wander away from us so we did not have any issues with that. My kids loved the hammock swing. I loved having a fire pit for grilling and Dutch oven cooking. The dock was perfect for stargazing at night. Paula was helpful and made us feel very welcome!

Weekend Trip to The Ranch At Beulah

I had the most wonderful experience camping at Beulah Ranch this past weekend. The campsite (The Sink) was so cozy, the swing was fun, and I loved how natural and private everything felt. It was very peaceful, with everything I needed provided—including even batteries for electricity. The property itself is amazing, and my dogs had the best time enjoying the freedom of the open space. Noah’s hard work and creativity really show throughout the ranch, and it’s clear how much work he and his dad have put into making it special. They are both incredibly friendly, genuine, and cultured hosts who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. This will definitely become a regular spot for me, and I can’t wait to see all of the exciting plans they have for the future come to life. If you’re looking for the perfect getaway with a big family, pets, or a group of friends—Beulah Ranch is the place to go. You won’t be disappointed! Oh, and you MUST try the pizza. It is so delicious and an experience I promise you have likely never had before.

Weekend Trip to Riveted Retreat

We stayed over Labor Day weekend from Friday to Monday and as someone who has had 4 days off in two months I was looking forward to nothing but relaxing. This was the medicine I needed! We got to the spot and in the gate with zero problems. It is exactly as advertised and the pictures tell you exactly what you are getting. It was so quiet, beautiful, and serene that I immediately relaxed. The camper is great and equipped with everything you would need. We over packed because we've had other experiences that weren't as equipped with what we needed but this was perfection. We put bird seed I the feeder the first night and by the next day we had all sorts of birds, we had a sweet armadillo who visited us everyday, and two barred owls who decided to have a conversation each evening. Humming birds all over the place, fireflies, and just so calming. When it rained we were able to not only stay inside and stream our shows but also WiFi was on point so I was able to sit outside and watch on my iPad. The covers deck was also perfect for that while it rained. The pool was clean and a great dip to cool off. The only thing with that is that it was a little hard to get in and out for a shorty like me. We had a blast and will absolutely rent this again!! When we needed more firewood the owners came ASAP and brought more. Very kind and hey, we did hit up Buc-ee's that is only miles away for fun and great snacks. Highly recommend for quiet, silent weekend!

Weekend Trip to Riveted Retreat

Had a wonderful time this weekend soaking in the pool, chilling with the dogs, and chilling inside and out with the amazing WiFi while it rained down. The owners were quick to respond with new firewood and had a nice bag of candied pecans waiting for us. This was the weekend we were looking for and so private. Totally as advertised and the deck with the roof over was perfect for the times it did rain so we could still be outside. Would totally recommend this place again and will be back for sure. Oh and there is a Buc-ee's only a few miles away so that was great for amazing snacks and a quick breakfast when we didn't want to cook.

I absolutely LOVED this place! It was so peaceful and the exact unwind place I was looking for. Cabin was clean, and cozy with great views It was my dog’s first time at the lake and he had a blast going in and out of the water. My favorite part was laying on the dock at night, listening to the crickets, frogs, and looking at the stars. 100% will be going back.

Weekend Trip to Cabins directly on the Lake

We rented cabins 1 and 2 for a weekend family trip. We had an amazing time! I cannot say enough about how awesome this site is. They have so much to do; basketball, sand box, petal boats, kayaks, life jackets and a WATERSLIDE. The waterslide was a huge hit for both the kids and adults! The Pavilion is covered and a great place for the kids to play. We spent most of our time in the area near the water slide and the dock; there are 2 picnic tables, a grill and an outdoor sink here. We brought flashlights and lanterns but didn't need them! The cabins have plenty of outside lighting, the pavilion and area with the grill also have lights! Both cabins 1 and 2 have a loft area with a little door that closes at the bottom of the stairs. Cabin 2 has a lock on the door, this was helpful since we had a toddler traveling with us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and you will too!
