Orrasis Ranch

Weekend Trip to Orrasis Ranch

I LOVED the Bait House! It was just the right size for a getaway with myself and my dog. I think 2 adults max would be comfortable here. It had everything I needed and more. The outdoor shower was a delightful experience. The only downside for me was they have chickens and roosters on the property and I was awoken by the cock-a-doodle-do before dawn every morning. The house was is located near a few parks so we were able to enjoy hiking within 10 minutes from the property. Downtown Marble Falls is also about 10 min away if you want local dining experiences, which I did grab takeout from 2 different restaurants while I was there. Overall it was a nice little getaway and great location!

These glamping cabins are nicer than some hotel rooms I have stayed in! Expect all the amenities (shower, toilet, ac, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc.) I recommend walking over to Bell Springs Brewery and Winery next door during your trip!

This was a really cute house on land. The furnishings are very nice. There are 5 small shed roof homes on the property with a shared fire pit and grill.

Twisted x brewing is literally right next door; it was great to hop over there for a few beers then walk 20 yards back to our RV spot. We didn't really explore the ranch much (it was right before Christmas) but the grounds and RV spots were nice!

Cedar Break at Howard Ranch is both a lodging and Event Venue. We are nestled in behind Twisted X Brewery. Our lodging includes our 15-row homes, 5 Airstreams, 10 RV Pad Sites and 1 Luxury Barndominium. We also have an Event Barn called the Tobacco Barn and our General Store. Our row homes are designed with a hill country experience in mind. Each home has its own private porch, one bedroom with a queen bed an en-suite bathroom, and a living area with full kitchenette and dining. The General Store provides your glamping needs with s'mores kits, fire kits, and more. Our Tobacco Barn is an excellent choice for family reunions, corporate events, rehearsal dinners, after-parties, and live music. Learn more about this land:Tom Dooley’s Hideout is located at the Gateway to the hill country, just minutes west of Dripping Springs off of hwy 290. It’s a unique 4 acre property with 5 modern tiny houses that sit on open range with free grazing livestock which occasionally show up as they do not belong to us. This tiny house comfortably sleeps 2 on a queen bed but we do have a sofa/futon thats great for kids. Enjoy sitting on the porch or at the picnic table under the trees to kick back and relax on a cool evening. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO HAVE A TWO NIGHT MINIMUM ON WEEKENDS Each tiny house has a keyless code entry system in which a personal code will be set up and sent to you prior to your check in. In the case that there is an issue with the key pad we do have a manual key so that you will always be able to access your tiny house. Pets are always allowed but we do charge $40 PER pet PER night. We do ask that you keep your pets off of the couch and the bed and clean up any “restroom breaks” outside. Also please note that we Do Not have a full kitchen only a microwave but we do have a charcoal grill under the trees in the common area. Dripping Springs offers a huge variety of fun activities and places to visit. Within a 10 to 15 minute drive you can visit countless local wineries, breweries and distilleries. There are also many amazing state parks such as Pedernales Falls, Blue Hole, Jacobs Well and Hamilton Pool that are always great to visit. Dripping Springs is also known to the wedding capital of Texas If you are in need of transportation you can always call an Uber or Lyft but if you are up for the drive, using your own personal vehicle is the best way to get around.
