WOW! These vibes are incredible. Blew me out of the water especially for the price of a tent site with yoga studio/game room, 4 private bathrooms, 2 small pools and a sauna, not to mention the full kitchen with free oatmeal and pancakes (cook your own). Also loved the hammock grove that we camped near with plenty of shade from the sun on the left side of the road. She was very friendly and had amazing attention to detail. I’m impressed and will definitely be back to try the A-line cabins. The view was also outstanding.

We have been to many glamping sites in TX but I have not seen such a beautiful site with a high elevation view. The host made it extra special sending us a small gift to celebrate our anniversary.. A beautiful night under the stars that you won't forget!

I can’t say enough good things! The coffee, the tea, the views, the robes, the cozy bed. There was nothing that wasn’t intentional and cared for about this stay. It’s private and remote, but well lit and simple to navigate. There’s much to do in the surrounding areas, such as great breakfast in Camp Verde and amazing steaks and specialty stores in Bandera, Texas Salt Co. was our favorite! I told about 5 people back home how awesome our stay at Charmadillo was, and I hope more people find this gem!

We loved tent camping at the Charmadillo! The peacefulness and amenities were incredible. Pro tip: opt for the google maps directions—Apple Maps took us 30 minutes out of the way originally. Would definitely return and recommend!

I loved the tent areas, they also have cabins and a tipi ⛺️ . It was nice view and the amenities were a great addition to have from the fully equipped kitchen to the pool. I didn’t have a chance to get in the sauna but it’s okay we were there to connect with nature we also saw an armadillo a couple feet’s away.

The space This listing is for both campers The cactus camper has a dinette and two couches that convert into a small double bed and two twins. It also has a bunk available for maximum two kids 140lb weight limit. The camper includes a full bathroom with a shower and toilet. Keep in mind, these are small spaces and may be challenging for some people. The height of the camper is 6' 2 1/2" and the length of the bed is 6'. The small double can sleep two people who are not afraid to be close. The bamboo bunk has a dinette and couch that converts either into a small double bed and a single or a large king-size bed. It has a canvas bunk available for a maximum of two kids with a 140lb weight limit. The camper includes a full bathroom with a shower and toilet.
