Family-friendly glamping near Bee Cave

The stay at the Happy Horse Bungalow was an enjoyable, relaxing weekend for us. We loved the outdoors and closeness to nature. We would definitely stay again. Had numerous trails. Even had a scavenger hunt. The bright stars around the campfire at night were quite relaxing.

Nice spot to relax for a few days, paired with amazing hosts! We will be back 🙂

Very interesting and comfortable treehouse! Very private and the tub and fire were perfect. You will hear the highway unfortunately, but it was still quite relaxing with a ton of wildlife. You can feel the love that went into building this special structure.

1 night at Sound Ground

Lovely stay at the yurt, we were lucky enough to get to watch an epic Texas lightning show from the comfort of the deck. Directions were clear and easy to find even in the dark. Bring lots of firewood (no collecting on site) and some instruments and enjoy the Hill Country ambience.

I would highly recommend staying at the Happy Horse Camp! The cabins have a lovely, quaint vibe and are clean with a solid set of amenities. Showers and bathrooms are available, and the on site nature walk with the scavenger hunt is very fun. Beaux and Hollis went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. I proposed to my fiance and they helped set up the proposal location on the nature walk. My fiance was very suprised and it made for a magical day:) Huge thanks to Beaux and Hollis for their help and responsiveness.

Weekend Trip to Ranch 3232

3232 is a good spot to land after a day at Pedernales State Park -- only ten minutes from this campground. My son and small dog stayed at the Comanche Glamping Tent and were comfortable and had a good time. I initially worried that we were too close to the road as it's one of the first sites in the campground, but it got very quiet at night so that wasn't an issue. This tent is right beside the bathrooms, kitchen and communal fire pit area. This was convenient, and there were some campers who stayed there past the designated quiet hour of 10pm, but it wasn't an issue for us.

1 night at 3 Dry Wells Ranch

Me and my two dachshunds had a great time, amazing view’s and really felt really safe, hosts were super friendly. Will definitely be coming back with my family.

We have been to many glamping sites in TX but I have not seen such a beautiful site with a high elevation view. The host made it extra special sending us a small gift to celebrate our anniversary.. A beautiful night under the stars that you won't forget!

Me and my family loved this treehouse! It was tons of fun for the kids - there are games, puzzles, kayaks, a canoe, a cargo net, arts & crafts and a nice little "hike" on the property. The water was low but the host sent us another spot we could checkout closeby if we wanted more water- turns out there was plenty still to entertain the kids. There are pantry staples and basic seasonings, a small electric cook top thing, a few pans/pot, mini fridge, kettle, coffeemaker and a toaster oven. If you find you need something you are nearby a store (but don't worry, this is a nice isolated place. I never felt like there was anyone nearby! I did hear some loud music a couple of times at night, maybe from a neighbor? but it subsided around midnight and wasn't *too* loud.) There are 3 cute ducks that hang around and a bunch of cardinals and other small songbirds that pop up- one even greeted me in the shower, haha. The weather was perfect - especially for sleeping outside in the hanging bed. The host is super nice and will answer quickly! What went well? EVERYTHING was better than described or expected. My wife and I were met by Bo (sorry if not the spelling). Smiling from ear to ear and just an overall wonderful person. He helped us take our things to our cabin and described different things that we could do. Everything from a scavenger hunt to harmonica lessons. Beautiful property nestled away from traffic or prying eyes. The cabins are spaced well far apart so you do not feel like others are in your business. I could not believe how well stocked the cabin was. Plenty of blankets, heaters, ceiling fans, air conditioning, cookware, microwave - this was literally the easiest camping experience I've ever had and I'm 55 lol. They also have a fire pit area for each individual cabin to make the experience even nicer. We spent 2 evenings and just had a blast. There are plenty of places to get wonderful food, beverages or any other thing you and your family might need. This is a must stop for camping on a wonderful level. Each cabin also had its own 5 star outhouse and 5 star is the truth! Absolutely cleaner than public restrooms with every necessity. I highly recommend this camping spot!
