Our Campsites are set up along the LSHT between Trailhead 3 and 4, in the Pole Creek trail area. We have 7 campsites and 1 cabin that sleeps 4. The campsites all have fire pits. All tents are fully furnished with made beds and critical supplies, and have picnic tables, chairs around the fire rings, firewood, and charcoal grills. Our premier platform tents also have electric, heat, Keurig coffee pots, coffee and more! Vintage trailers have everything you need as well inside and out. The pond is stocked with bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill and perch.

There is a riding/walking trail that is approximately 0.7 miles in distance and basically encompasses the perimeter of the back area.
Walking is common, bikes are welcome and small 4 wheelers are also welcome. No side by sides please.
You won’t be over crowded here as we currently only have 7 total camping sites. However, we do have enough property to accommodate large parties, reunions or any other type of get-togethers.

You might hear the sounds of the coyotes yipping in the night or perhaps one of the great horned owls calling out from a big oak tree.

The Rock Pit is a 5 acre swimming hole located in Trinity County that has been there over 50 years. Long ago they had dug out an area on a hill for rock on the dirt roads, and hit and underground water table. There are no fish in the Rock Pit, as the pH is 4.5, so no fish will live in it. I recall swimming there as a small boy, and wanted to share my memories with others. Depth ranges all over, but the deep end is around 15 feet. I have 5 kayaks currently, but bring yours if you have them, along with your vests.
There is fishing in Lake Livingston, my place is north of it. There is access to Lake Livingston via White Rock Creek. A public boat ramp in on Highway 94, just outside Trinity. Or you can go back towards Trinity, to highway 357 and go to a ramp closer to the big lake.
Tall pine tress, a few Oaks, and maple trees surround the place. Bring your mosquito repellant, as you are in the country!
The place is raw right now, but I am planning improvements such as a few A frame cabins, a showering area and so on. So many things to do!

We just had a new addition Colt who was born on our property March 12th 2023. He is our precious little donkey.

The Rock Pit is a 5 acre swimming hole located in Trinity County that has been there over 50 years. Long ago they had dug out an area on a hill for rock on the dirt roads, and hit and underground water table. There are no fish in the Rock Pit, as the pH is 4.5, so no fish will live in it. I recall swimming there as a small boy, and wanted to share my memories with others. Depth ranges all over, but the deep end is around 15 feet. I have 5 kayaks currently, but bring yours if you have them, along with your vests.
There is fishing in Lake Livingston, my place is north of it. There is access to Lake Livingston via White Rock Creek. A public boat ramp in on Highway 94, just outside Trinity. Or you can go back towards Trinity, to highway 357 and go to a ramp closer to the big lake.
Tall pine tress, a few Oaks, and maple trees surround the place. Bring your mosquito repellant, as you are in the country!
The place is raw right now, but I am planning improvements such as a few A frame cabins, a showering area and so on. So many things to do!

We just had a new addition Colt who was born on our property March 12th 2023. He is our precious little donkey.

Terry has shared the perfect little slice of heaven with campers right next to the lone star trail! I stayed with my 3 small kids and we had everything we needed and some. Peaceful, beautiful views of pond and trees, convenient location with bathroom, outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen and spacious sites. We had the place to ourselves and enjoyed horseshoe and disc golf along with getting a couple small hikes in. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend :)

We had a great time here. Cherise was really hospitable and greeted us upon our arrival and showed us around. In the morning we had scheduled for the complimentary animal feeding and the experience was awesome. Cherise met us at the barn as scheduled at 9 AM sharp and provided us with a good amount of treats for all the farm animals. It was really nice to be able to give the donkeys, goats, Horse, horses, miniature cow, and chickens their morning breakfast. Cherise even allowed my two siblings a ride on one of the horses which we thought was really nice and a great experience for the kids. Oh, and she has a really beautiful turkey and peacocks on site as well. Overall, we had a fun time here and would definitely love to come back to check out the glamping tent.

We had such a great time camping on Terrys land. Plenty of space and he even leaves firewood on your site for you. There is also a clean bathroom and a shower with hot water. It’s also right next to the lonestar trail. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you Terry!

We had a great 2 night stay at Circle C Campground essentially inside the Sam Houston National Forrest. The park trails began 50 yrds from our campsite. The sites themselves were very large, and there are only 7 total campsites, so it felt very spacious. There was a lot for the kids to do and they roamed freely with no worries from mom or dad about them all weekend. Terry was very friendly and has spared no expense improving the property to allow campers to enjoy it. Highly recommended.
