Well water is available from the sink located near the bathroom. Please remember, for the safety and comfort of our animals and guests, unsupervised interactions with our animals are not permitted. All animal interactions must be scheduled and supervised by our experienced staff. Also please remember that while our farm is a total of 30 acres, only about 1/3 of that is available for open use by campers, the rest house our beautiful horses and other animals. Our farm is situated just a short drive from local attractions. . These are unique camping spots along the Guadalupe River. I didn’t exactly understand how unique until I started getting feedback from my campers. The surrounding scenery will lower your blood pressure and do wonders to let you reconnect with nature. Sit back and close your eyes late in the evening and listen to all the wildlife talking to each other. There is faint traffic noise from 90A about a 1/3 of a mile away but it calms down after 7 or so. Currently no amenities but I am in the plans for some portable bathrooms. Please be prepared to cover all your bathroom and cooking needs. I do have some good clean well water from a faucet on the way into the campgrounds. Campfires are permitted. There is a convenience store (Diamond A) with clean bathrooms and a great bbq just 5 miles to the west on 90A and a Walmart and HEB 10 miles to the east on 90A. (Both Diamond A and Walmart sell fishing licenses if you need one. Dogs are allowed at sites 3 and 4 but not at 1 or 2 where my livestock guardian dogs have access to. No matter the size or temperament of your pets you are always expected to have them under your control at ALL times. I have very small livestock in the area frequently I am almost always on the property and try to have my phone with me while campers are on site, just let me know what you need and I will do what I can to accommodate you. We are a working farm! We primarily grow corn, but we also have livestock on the property. During daytime hours, you will likely see a variety of farm chores being completed. We offer a self-serve farm stand for our customers with fresh eggs, jelly and even pasture raised chicken - all produced on the farm. We are only 7 miles from the Georgetown, TX historical district and square. Some say it’s the most beautiful town square in all of Texas. Enjoy shopping, dining, and festivals! There is road noise. Highway 29 can be busy at times, despite being a two-lane road. Quiet hours are after 10 pm Sunday - Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday. Access to our river site is included in your camping fee. This secluded hike-to (~ 1-2 minute walk) site is peaceful with limestone cliff views and no visible homes or signs of civilization. The trail head is accessed by a dirt road that winds around our corn field and into the woods, and can be accessed by any vehicle in normal weather conditions. We will provide warning/refunds if the river road becomes 4x4 only. Fishing is allowed with a valid Texas fishing license. There is no overnight camping on the San Gabriel River. All camping is at the main farm area and campers are able to come and go from the river site as they please (day or night!).

Offers a drive-thru in which you can drive thru as many times as you want, as well as a petting zoo and gift shop. And, if you like shopping, there are lots of antique shops and wineries at Round Top, another scenic drive about 45 minutes away. And all the ice cream lovers must visit the home of "Blue Bell" in Brenham, TX which is only open to the public during the weekdays, not weekends. While in Brenham, kids love to skate at the historic "Silver Wings Ballroom", known as one of the best skating rinks in Texas! The stocked river is teeming with largemouth and Guadalupe bass, catfish, sunfish, and rainbow trout, and can be an excellent place for beginning anglers (you can even borrow equipment for free). Pedernales Falls State Park is only 35 miles away. Swimming at holes, horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, and birding are a few of the quintessential outdoor Texan activities visitors enjoy most at Pedernales State Park, located near the area of Texas Hill Country where former President Lyndon B. Johnson grew up. Next to the famed Pedernales River, the park is an hour west of Austin, an hour east of Fredericksburg, and about 20 minutes from downtown Johnson City. Wineries and distilleries are a short drive away in nearby Dripping Springs and Stonewall. Pets are allowed. Please make sure you pick up after them.

The massive 2015 floods destroyed the structure and since then we have been enjoying camping on it, as we have slowly rebuilt the structure. Once ancient native Indian lands, you can scour for arrowheads, fossils, lava rocks (just found this past weekend on the cliff top) and so much more! I have spent my entire 53 years enjoying this property, and am honored to share the tranquil and peaceful retreat of the outdoor space to those discerning campers of the world! Swimming, tubing, kayaking, SUP'ing, floating, cliff climbing, evening camp fires, and so much more await you at 'Our Heritage and Legacy'. There is very intentionally no cable, no internet, no tv. The goal of time at our place of peace is to reconnect with nature, and remind ourselves what really matters. Learn more about this land: Our Heritage and Legacy is a beautiful shaded lawn under a canopy of old oaks that are a few hundred years old and pecan trees. There is a huge privacy wall of bamboo that gives you a sense of absolute privacy, with a cliff on the opposing side to encase you and your loved ones in this majestic retreat.  There is also a pull up/ hook up area for travel trailers and smaller rv's with a 30 amp plug in and a 50 amp plug in. This is on a gorgeous area on the deepest swimming hole of the Blanco River in Wimberley, Texas!  OH, and the entire Blanco River in Wimberley is private! There is no river accessible camping available to the public, anywhere in Wimberley!  Has two beautiful docks on the water: one is perfect for morning coffee, wine sipping, fishing, meditating, yoga, with an adjacent access ladder and steps to get in and out of the water, the other has a large bench, steps to the water for entering with water toys, etc, and a rope swing! This property includes a cliff to climb with ropes installed and amazing views of the Blanco river valley east and west from the top! Water toys are available for rent and use as desired/needed (the reservations for such need to be made in advance/or at time of check in, to have available for your use)  : 3 additional kayaks($40/day), 4 tubes($9/day), a SUP ($45/day), along with two other beanbag type chair floats($15/day)-. You may either rent through Hipcamp, in advance, or on site at check in.  There are electrical hookups for rv's/travel trailers (one 20 amp and one 50 amp)- however, all campers whether tent, RV's/Travel trailers will need to bring in your own water supply for your general use, please. (The property is on a rain water collection/purification system, and has very limited water for the overall property use-to have water trucked in to refill the tank is quite expensive. Campers may NOT use the water supply connected to the house- please respect.)  You will have absolute privacy on these 3 acres, with no neighbors, beyond those folks who live across the river on their large pieces of land! The rate is $220/night for up to 4 campers, unless specified otherwise due to a holiday, and each additional camper beyond, $30/pp. This property is not appropriate for children under 12 because of safety concerns with the cliff, the river and the road bisecting the property that leads to the river.  No children under 12 allowed. I am quite firm about this, and I apologize in advance. What makes it an amazing property, a destination for camping and exploring, also makes it a safety risk for younger children. There is an antique fireplace that is from the origins of the property over a century ago on the large outdoor patio and a huge fire pit on the cliff top.  Bundles of wood are available to purchase at $9 each.  Please DO NOT help yourself to our wood piles, we had to pay someone to cut and stack it all- it is not free. We are happy to stock each firepit area with bundles of wood, per your request. You may also purchase a fire starter stick for $8/each. (I did previously supply those, but they kept walking off at the end of each groups stay- thank you for understanding). There is also a full size refrigerator and freezer available for your use during your stay. The overall vibe is absolute peace, serenity, calm, and relaxation. In the evenings, if you are calm, still and quiet-  foxes, and raccoons shall run all around your area, and the foxes are known to eat from your hands. It is simply the best of nature, being there! The famous Blue Hole and Jacobs Well swimming holes along with their respective hiking trails and parks are minutes away, along with the highly regarded Wimberley Zipline being just 5 minutes down the road, too! DO note, to swim at Jacob's Well, Blue Hole or partake in the Zipline experience requires advance online reservations. (there is a secret to getting into the Jacob's Well if you were not able to get reservations, make sure to ask me about, if interested! it has previously always worked for me!)  To hike the trails in either the Jacobs Well County Park,  Mount Baldy, or The Blue Hole Regional park does not require reservations! Have I mentioned the famous Wimberley Glass Works- just a 15 minute drive away! Bring your lawn games, your corn hole, and relax on the sprawling lush zoysia lawn under the evening twinkling lights strung from the oak trees that are hundreds of years old.  The best restaurants are 4-10 minutes away and many wineries, breweries, and distilleries around are also nearby within the community and surrounding area- Wimberley is a destination tourist town and a culinary journey with fantastic shopping, too!! . These are unique camping spots along the Guadalupe River. I didn’t exactly understand how unique until I started getting feedback from my campers. The surrounding scenery will lower your blood pressure and do wonders to let you reconnect with nature. Sit back and close your eyes late in the evening and listen to all the wildlife talking to each other. There is faint traffic noise from 90A about a 1/3 of a mile away but it calms down after 7 or so. Currently no amenities but I am in the plans for some portable bathrooms. Please be prepared to cover all your bathroom and cooking needs. I do have some good clean well water from a faucet on the way into the campgrounds. Campfires are permitted. There is a convenience store (Diamond A) with clean bathrooms and a great bbq just 5 miles to the west on 90A and a Walmart and HEB 10 miles to the east on 90A. (Both Diamond A and Walmart sell fishing licenses if you need one. Dogs are allowed at sites 3 and 4 but not at 1 or 2 where my livestock guardian dogs have access to. No matter the size or temperament of your pets you are always expected to have them under your control at ALL times. I have very small livestock in the area frequently I am almost always on the property and try to have my phone with me while campers are on site, just let me know what you need and I will do what I can to accommodate you. Highway 29 can be busy at times, despite being a two-lane road. Quiet hours are after 10 pm Sunday - Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday. Access to our river site is included in your camping fee. This secluded hike-to (~ 1-2 minute walk) site is peaceful with limestone cliff views and no visible homes or signs of civilization. The trail head is accessed by a dirt road that winds around our corn field and into the woods, and can be accessed by any vehicle in normal weather conditions. We will provide warning/refunds if the river road becomes 4x4 only. Fishing is allowed with a valid Texas fishing license. There is no overnight camping on the San Gabriel River. All camping is at the main farm area and campers are able to come and go from the river site as they please (day or night!).

This is a farm. For those that enjoy dispersed camping, this is it. No one else there so I had the run of the place. As described, I was met by the owner as I came up the drive, got a quick property tour and history, met the new baby pigs, was greeted by chickens and the old brown farm dog that came to check on me a couple of times. Fire pits were located throughout the property with plenty of firewood around for the choosing. Very clean portapotty. They have showers but I didn’t use them so I can’t comment. The main drawback is the proximity to Hwy 29. As noted in the description, it is not unnoticeable but by about 6:30 or 7, it calmed down a lot. I was just there on a spur of the moment , quick, overnighter to check the place out and to field test a couple of new pieces of camping equipment. It’s only a 15 mile trip from my home, so nice and easy. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. I’ve had a couple of questionable Hipcamp experiences, but this was not one of them . I can say I’ll probably be back the next time I need to get out or to put a new camping toy to work.

My friends and I had an absolute blast on the pasture mingle campsite. I will say though, if you’re looking for a lot of privacy, you’ll probably want to go with the mother tree location. Since this campsite is next to the barn where horse rides begin, there were people coming in and out a lot during our stay. Didn’t bother us, and we preferred being right up next to the horses, with two sheep roaming and playing around for us to watch. I’d recommend this spot to families with kids who like animals, and the mother tree location for people who want more of the private river spot. Overall we were very pleased.

I kinda really don’t even want to leave a review because I don’t want the secret getting out. But this camp site is just amazing if you know what you’re getting into! It’s rustic, bring your own table and water rustic. But for that “downside” you get so many upsides. The quiet, ooooh the quiet. The stars and the quiet make you forget you’re only 30 minutes from home. The hosts are amazing, friendly, and on top of everything on the facility. As an example, there was a shortage of tp in one of the bathrooms, no big deal, I keep tp in the truck for this reason. But next time I went in (next morning) it was stocked! It’s the little things in that really and truly make this place incredible.

I hosted a dog mom camping trip with a few of my friends and it was the perfect location. Secluded from the other campsites and right on the Guadalupe river. All of our dogs enjoyed the river and we enjoyed the spots under the shade! Truly an amazing place to spend time with friends.

We had a great time here! Sites were large enough to accommodate 2 vehicles and a tent, plus 3 dogs. Bathrooms at the front were clean, plus a hose nearby for non potable water. We had fire wood delivered to our site a couple of times and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I had a magical weekend at the ranch. It was easy to find- close to Georgetown which has a nice market on Saturdays- yet remote enough to stargaze. We rode horses and played with the goats, ponies, and a litter of 8 7-week old puppies. At night the hosts brought us plenty of firewood for our spot near the horse pasture. It was a very fun and friendly experience all around.

What an amazing piece of property. It’s on a lazy bend of the Guadalupe and the owner lent us a John boat to take my son out fishing. There are numerous mature pecan trees and it’s just beautiful. It would be perfect were it not for the occasional road noise from Highway 90, and we were camping pretty far away. Not the owners fault obviously. He was a tremendous host; this place is a 9.5/10 with the only flaw keeping it from perfection being the occasional road noise.

The camp is exactly what we needed! As we had several large dogs with us, it allowed our dogs to have the space and privacy that we needed as well as a nice peaceful vacation. Having the electricity there was very helpful! It was quiet and peaceful, and even though we had to move the trailer to dump and fill up water, it was still what we were looking for! And everything was there on site. Our host page was responsive and helpful! Would definitely stay again.

My buddy and I very much enjoyed staying at this campground. Us city folk did have to get help to move the longhorn and donkey away from the gate so we could get in initially, but Jana responded right away and her husband helped us out immediately. The animals kept us company over night, but they were friendly and cute. The composting toilet had everything you could need, and the ranch land was gorgeous. Overall, a great stay and would recommend this campground.

We fully enjoyed staying at Bridgette’s place. We were a small group at site 3 with 2 tents, a truck tent and small travel trailer. We had plenty of space. There was another group at site 2. We could hardly hear each other (but did play some songs together). It was nice to have the bathroom close. It even had hot water. We look forward to staying there again.
