Weekend Trip to Magical Lakefront Retreat Property

The bunkhouse was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our few days away. Grounds were peaceful and quiet, perfect for watching deer and hummingbirds from our little deck. Paddling the lake was just lovely. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay! It was super close to the state parks and a comfortable RV. The lake is only a short hike away, and provides a pretty good view.

2 nights at River Forest Haven

We really enjoyed our last minute tent camping trip at River Forest! We came in after a big storm, so a few sites were a little muddy (expected), but we found a great spot that offered lots of shade but wasn’t too muddy. Took the dogs down to the river the next day and they had a blast. The owners are really nice and helpful. We will definitely be camping here more often!

4 nights at Wooded Retreat Near Town On 5 Acres

This was a super cute Airstream with all the amenities. I kept telling my GF to pack like camping, not like a hotel, but for the Airstream she was right! We had originally planned to be in the tent, but a SUPER bad storm was rolling in, and since the Airstream wasn't rented, they kindly allowed us to switch! Would absolutely stay again! Be prepared to really disconnect and relax though, cell service was spotty. The tree house was SUPER cute!

1 night at Happy Hideaway - Near COTA

I loved staying here!, absolutely beautiful in the morning and a random rooster crowing a couple miles away from us every morning made it even better lol. Used the campfire to make s’mores, everything went smoothly. They have a cute shower, they also have toilets not far from camp at all. Super quiet I love that they have a no loud music rule, made the experience even more relaxing specially after a long week of work. Would and will come back again. :)

Weekend Trip to Lost Pines Private RV & Lake

Loved the privacy of the RV area and the woods were beautiful. Older trailer with a lot of love put into it, the window unit was a trouper and it was pretty comfortable once it got going. The area surrounding was very comfortable to walk around, the paths were very state-park-esque, and it was a really nice surprise to find a seating area in the woods. It was a bit of a bummer that it took all night for the fridge to get cold enough to cool our drinks, and that the lake was right in front of the house. Overall, it was a great stay and would love to stay again!

Travis’s property and accommodations are beautifully done and well taken care of. We enjoyed walking down to the river, hanging out on the wine deck, and enjoying the quiet beauty that the area has to offer. We had a lovely stay and hope to come back soon!

Stayed the weekend in a small camper here. Site 9 has full hookups. It was a great location (very close to the state park, and not too far from Johnson City), and the grounds were very well kept. Ken was an accommodating and gracious host. Will stay again if back this way.

Two tents have one queen bed and two have two queen beds. We provide two air mattresses to sleep total 16!! There are AC units in each of the tents to keep cool at night. Please note that the hot tub is only included if all 4 tents are booked. Our common areas include 2 showers, 2 toilets, 1 extra large sink area connected to the bathrooms, 2 grills and 4 large picnic tables, a bar and coffee station, a fire pit, hammocks and a rope swing. It’s a unique 4 acre property with 5 modern tiny houses that sit on open range with free grazing livestock which occasionally show up as they do not belong to us. This tiny house comfortably sleeps 2 on a queen bed but we do have a sofa/futon thats great for kids. Enjoy sitting on the porch or at the picnic table under the trees to kick back and relax on a cool evening. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO HAVE A TWO NIGHT MINIMUM ON WEEKENDS Each tiny house has a keyless code entry system in which a personal code will be set up and sent to you prior to your check in. In the case that there is an issue with the key pad we do have a manual key so that you will always be able to access your tiny house. Pets are always allowed but we do charge $40 PER pet PER night. We do ask that you keep your pets off of the couch and the bed and clean up any “restroom breaks” outside. Also please note that we Do Not have a full kitchen only a microwave but we do have a charcoal grill under the trees in the common area. Dripping Springs offers a huge variety of fun activities and places to visit. Within a 10 to 15 minute drive you can visit countless local wineries, breweries and distilleries. Dripping Springs is also known to the wedding capital of Texas If you are in need of transportation you can always call an Uber or Lyft but if you are up for the drive, using your own personal vehicle is the best way to get around.

On very hot afternoons to A/C unit struggles to keep the place cool. If it is 100 outside the A/C unit might only bring it down to 75 in the main area and warmer in the bedroom. At night and in the morning the A/C is strong enough. Learn more about this land: Lost Pines Private RV is located on a gravel dead-end road. We are in a pine forest with some oaks and have a two-acre lake on the property that is good for swimming. Bastrop and Buescher State Parks are nearby and easy to access through back roads. There is a honey bee themed gift shop on site that is regularly open Thu-Sat 10-6 that offers tastings and tours. There is a restroom and small sink area connected to store that is open 24 hrs. There are 2 LONG RV spots up to 45 feet in length BUT, they are back in only and the turn around area is tight if you have a BIG RIG. The 2 camper van sites are (Site 1) 32' and (Site 2) 22'. Ask me if you want to know more! It helps me to approve you more quickly if I know how tall/long your RV is. Especially if you are longer than 24 feet. You can text me info. There is an outdoor shower area near the dark brown tiny house that is a cold water shower only! :) Ask me if you need towels and/or body wash, etc. (I don't mind helping out so you can travel lighter!)

We have a large BBQ pavilion with 4 tables for your use also. We have a lot of trees planted and more to come to provide more shade. We know how the hot Texas weather can be. THE NOBLE CABINS AND LAKE HOUSE are located at 200 Noble Street in Kingsland. They are located on Lake LBJ. We have six 1 bedroom cabins and then a 2 bedroom with loft lake house. There is 2 docks to swim, fish, or just to relax on. One of the docks has underwater fishing lights too. Come out and sit on the docks for your morning sunrise! The cabins are some of the last old fishing camps from the 1950's that have been remodeled. They are very up to date and come fully furnished. Very spacious and comfortable for a nice relaxing stay. The house is very spacious. So much room to spread out and not be cramped up. Large patio with a table and chairs, gas BBQ grill, very nice large round fire pit, boat ramp if you bring your boat, and fully equipped kitchen.
