Granbury Wine Walk and Winter Wine Walk in the Historic Granbury Square. Walking through the park and the square is just magical at Christmastime. Easy Like a Sunday Morning is nestled just outside the city limits of Granbury, Texas (approximately 3 miles from Granbury Historic square) @ a private residence just outside the city limits. New laundry facility down the road, dump station @ Thorp Springs RV park (20 dollars), Davids Grocery store and Dollar General, all only .03 miles away. This is not really a vacation destination but more a safe place to stay coming to town to explore all Granbury has to offer or a place to catch your breathe while traveling on the road.
Friends have enjoyed escaping here for years. I decided to share the zen. It's a bit rough around the edges but if the new venture succeeds it will only get better each time you visit. Patio with a view of Lake Granbury and surrounding valley of at least 3 counties.

Our camping area is a graded grass and dirt area off of a gravel driveway with shade trees and a lake view. Enjoy a peaceful camping setting. There is a shared water hydrant for the campsites.
For bigger water and easy access to Lake Ray Roberts State Park, head over to the Johnson Branch of Lake Ray Roberts which is less than 15 minutes away.
We are located next door to 555 Vineyard and the Vineyard Tasting room. Also, check out downtown Valley View with local restaurants including Blue Bonnet Cafe, York N Ale, Hess Meat Market, and Firelight Vineyard just 7 minutes away. Edge of the Lake Vineyard is also 7 minutes away.
Drinking water is available at the campsites from a water hydrant. No electricity is available at campsites. There are no bathroom amenities here. Guests will need to be self-contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.

This was the perfect spot for camping. We have three little kids so the play set was very helpful. When you walk down the steps most of the water is shallow so I did not have to stress about the kids and water safety as much. The campsite itself was well maintained with all the essentials (picnic table, fire pit, sitting chairs etc). We very much enjoyed our stay and will be back again!

This is our favorite Hip Camp within an hour and a half from Dallas. We have stayed at Paul's place several times and have enjoyed it equally as much every time. His sites are well maintained and the river access is wonderful.

booked a 1 night stay since my trip was mostly for something else in the area, ended up loving the place, definitely spacious, clean and very pleasant, the option of camping very light due to the very close town having all that's needed definitely made a big difference for me! loved spending the evening in the fire pit looking at the starts, which I was surprised at how many more are visible compared to Dallas, highly recommended and will keep it in my books for future trips to the area and possible destination to explore more the area.

We had a great time. The property is not far from Dallas and is definitely our favorite so far. It’s beautiful.
I had the chance to catch 13 bass, all a good size, including two surprises that were close to 8 pounds. We named the biggest one Rocky.
We will definitely be back. The property is beautiful, easy to access, and large enough to walk around and enjoy outdoor activities. 🎣🌿

We are so glad we found Pecans on the Paluxy! Paul has a terrific property with such a peaceful river view. Close to town amenities while still feeling like a getaway to nature. We have stayed here twice and look forward to many more opportunities!

Amy was very sweet. The animals were great. The river was very enjoyable. We went for a mid week break and enjoyed fishing in the river and basking in the sun. It is a little difficult to get into the river from the campsite but there’s a section near the pavilion that is much easier.

Wonderful land/spot. Wonderful host. They had quick and amazing communication. They met us at the gate and showed us to our spot. Super friendly people! The land was nice, secluded, and clean.
The listing here says not bathrooms which is technically true but there is a porta potty that they take good care of. So that was a nice surprise. Close to a whattaburger incase you arrive late and are super hungry. (Its the only thing open super late)
We got there at midnight and they were okay with that. I was super anxious about getting there so late but they were so kind and understanding.
Amazing experience. Id definitely come back if we are going through Texas again.

We loved the hidden nature of our stay. Driving through the hills and down long winding roads was a perfect welcome into the area. Sam and Sarah were very attentive and passionate about their land and the sites. We enjoyed the little red barn and were able to purchase a few dozen fresh eggs from the chickens on the farm. We would happily stay here again!

Very cozy spot that is easy to get to. Lots of open space and the creek next to camp is nice.
There are a ton of sheep and goats there as well which was cool! However they will probably get in your way but just wait and they will clear out and keep their distance.
Only complaint I have is the road and animal noises get a little loud at late night but it didn’t ruin the overall experience for me.
It’s also a good place to stay if you’re visiting Dinosaur Valley State Park since it’s only about 20 minutes away.
Overall I had a nice stay for a quick weekend get away, I can see myself coming back.

We loved the area, great spacious camp site, big, beautiful rock fire pit, with cover and grill grate you must rent to cook over, had sand box too included. Chairs were such a nice touch and very high quality and sturdy! We rented kayaks and went upstream, this area was pretty shallow and great for kids we had to walk the kayaks a few times but it was so nice and the water was very clear. We encountered a water mocassain it was still small a little over a foot long, right off the steps into the river my 7 year old saw it swimming under the water right where we were about to step so keep your eye out, but we camped at spring break so snakes are to be expected. Hope to go back when it's cooler outside it was extremely hot this spring break even in the shade but I haven't acclamated just yet. Great place Paul, thanks!

I really enjoyed this spot along a creek feeding the Brazos River that's just a walk away from camp. I was able to take a shower (cold) and charge up my power station. It was quiet, secure, and I stayed for a couple of days. Definitely will return next time I'm in the area!
