Welcome to Woodland Creek RV Park! This land has been in our family over 50 years. My wife and I decided to build an RV park to share the East Texas beauty. It’s nice to be back to the roots of our heritage. Over the years, we have enjoyed many camping adventures with our three daughters creating memories. Standard RV Sites Our Standard RV sites are anything but “standard”. All of our sites have ample space between sites and are laser leveled to make sure your rig feels like home. Our pads are all concrete and can accommodate any size RV. Our back-in sites have ample space for backing… a wide two lane road and onto a site pad wide enough for two parked cars. Premium RV Sites For those who are looking for a little more, our premium sites back up to our wilderness area offering a little more privacy as well as some extra shade.

Thanksgiving weekend, our first Hipcamp stay. The site is as described and perfect for our visit. Not having sewer hookups is a non-issue if you manage water usage. There is a CEFCO gas station a few miles south on hwy 259 that has an rv dump station for a small fee. We did not meet the host but she was quick to respond to our emails. Thank you Adrienne for the stay.

Jill and Anthony have a great place. Super clean campground. We loved that it's so dog friendly. The outdoor shower and close bathroom were super appreciated. The Nest felt very secluded and was exactly what we were looking for. The picnic table was used and enjoyed as well as the fire pit box.

Great quiet little spot. Will definitely be back. I would warn that it is a tight fit for larger RVs. Mine is 27’ and I arrived at night so it was a little tricky getting in. I recommend entering the north entrance. The spot its self was spacious and the host was very nice.

Pros: - Joe and Joe Sr. were so friendly and welcoming. They were the best part of this site. - They made every effort to accomodate our needs. - Beautiful land, very quiet. - Joe Sr. took us on a tour of the property, including his ATV area. - Lots of hang out spaces under covered areas, so could accomodate very large groups. Cons: - The Electrical box malfunctioned and we were not able to hook up our 50 amp. We tried the 20 amp but that ended up failing too. We ended up having to run our generator, but the hosts covered our gas. They felt so badly about this and were trying to fix the unexpected problem. - The bathrooms were very rustic. The women’s door was locked, and the men’s bathroom had flushing troubles. The inside bathroom was fine, but with 8 in our party, it was inconvenient to only have one bathroom/shower. There were no sewage hookups. - Spaces need updating - Price was high for partial hookup and out-dated, poorly functioning spaces

Great site. Great hosts. Great view. If you are not into big RV parks, but love camping, this is your spot. Dog friendly play yard. Level pads. On site laundry (3 night min) Backs up to a beautiful farm with cows. 2 minutes to Lake Palestine. 10 minutes for groceries, gas and fast food. 25 minutes to the “big city” of Tyler. Will definitely stay here again when passing through!

It was not busy at all when we went 2nd weekend in November 2024. We did change spots we were not in #5, we switched to #9. Only negative thing is that you can hear the road noise, no way around that though. I am sure it is a packed park in December because that is where the Santa Christmas Train is in Rusk, Texas!
