The campground is gorgeous! Our site (the glass house site) was close to the bath house which made it very convenient. The bath house is immaculately clean and well stocked with essentials for guests to use. We took advantage of the little store to pick up firewood, ice, and a couple of refreshments. They also have complimentary coffee and tea at the store. They really thought of everything. The pavilion is beautiful and my little one had a great time playing by the creek. We also loved the free ranging guineas roaming the property. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back!

Hands down the most peaceful camping spot we’ve found in 20+ years! Mull Valley was pure serenity—private trail, a sweet little creek, and total quiet. We left relaxed and recharged. Can’t wait to come back!

4 nights at Deer Valley RV Park

It was a great spot! Quiet, low-key and close to groceries, food, etc. There’s only four RV spots, and so it was real mellow, hardly even ever saw the two other people that were there at the same time as me. The sound of traffic can be heard in the distance, but it dies down at night and is not beyond what one could expect when close to all the conveniences. There are only four RV spots and their next to a few scattered houses on the same area of land so it makes you feel like you’re part of a little community, though I never really saw anybody. I would definitely stay again when I’m passing through the area.

This is our 2nd visit to Winding Stair. We enjoyed the Group Site, Pavilion and Bathhouse so much, we brought some new friends! Great location close to hiking trails and Franklin. Also visited Winding Stair’s Nursery in Franklin. One of the best, if not the best, campground we have visited.

Weekend Trip to Deer Valley RV Park

Very new well maintained! Easy in and out. We did not even unhook our fifth wheel. Sites were quite level and like I said the infrastructure is new water, power, and sewer. No issues at all. Great place to stay for a few nights or just one. The only trick is you need to sign in through hip camp, they are a partner with Harvest host, but you cannot sign in through that app.

Easy access, friendly owners. Peaceful spot, no fuss, no muss. Clean bathhouse, and restrooms. 10 minutes away from Bryson City (civilization; the nearest town), but far out enough to be away from the Hustle & Bustle.. Very fair priced. I would not hesitate to stay here, again!

Our first experience with Hipcamp was in this spacious, level site with FHU. Owner is very nice and shares recommendations for places to eat, go to church, shop, etc. It’s convenient to the softball fields in Dalton, which is why we are usually in the area. Definitely recommend.

We had a great trip to Candy Mountain Goat Farm this weekend. We have visited this beautiful area several times and decided to give Hipcamp a try. For starters the campsite was amazing. Incredibly clean and well kept and you can tell Andrew puts a lot of time and effort into ensuring that it is perfect for anyone staying. Second Andrew is so incredibly kind and helpful. He went and grabbed our firewood for us and helped us in multiple ways once we were on top of the mountain so we could enjoy our single night there to its fullest. We saw the most beautiful night sky I've ever seen and if you are wondering whether you should go or not, trust me it is worth the experience. I would recommend this to anyone and encourage all to meet Andrew as he is a wonderful host and a very kind soul! We will for sure be back!

We have several options for our guests at the farm, including a small zipline, farm activities, loop trail, spring trail, weekly outdoor movies (on request), and our petting area where you can interact with very friendly goats. Watts Bar is over 72 miles long, 722 miles of shoreline, and is known for good fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, and other recreation. This is a good base for day trips to Knoxville, Chattanooga, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Smoky Mountain National Park. Note: Bring your own tent/supplies, or options include tent and/or propane tank rental. Pack out your own food, animal, and human waste. As this is private property, it is still the woods of Tennessee, so expect all that goes along with that. The property provides 30 acres of mostly forest land for guests to explore. It features four uniquely designed treehouses to fit any travelers needs, and is perfect for hosting groups and events! Here at Treehouse Mountain, our goal is to provide everything that we would want if we were to travel to other rentals. During your stay, you can find that we are readily available if there's anything we can help out with or want help planning your trip to the area as well. The bathhouse is a shared facility between three of the treehouses. It features two showers and two bathrooms (all separate rooms) and is fully climate controlled (warm in winter, cool in summer). It is cleaned daily, sometimes multiple times a day depending on usage. In the shower rooms, guests can find shampoo, conditioner, and body soap available for their use. In the bathrooms, there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand sanitizer, and hair dryers available as well. The treehouses have been furnished with you in mind. All linens are provided (all bedding, kitchen towels, bath towels, etc) and additional linens are available upon request. Each treehouse has a kitchenette area, complete with sink, drip-pot coffee maker (coffee, creamer, sugar provided), toaster, microwave, and half-size refrigerator. There are additional items such as a rice cooker, water kettle, and some snack items provided as well. They each also have a Blackstone Griddle for cooking in an outdoor cooking area. There is a parking area for guests' cars. The paths on property are well-lit, so there's no need to worry if you arrive in the evening. The owners live on property and are readily available to help during check in and check out if needed. Each treehouse has a private fire-pit with firewood and fire starter provided. Our treehouses are dog friendly with no additional fee.

My fondest memories of the property are of playing and catching crawdads in the creek that located on the property when I was a kid and riding horses and flying kites in the fields.
