Our scenic campground sits in a wooded area overlooking a meadow that slopes down to a small, year-round creek. Enjoy sunrise and sunset views for much of the year, along with frequent sightings of deer, turkeys, Canadian geese, and mallard ducks—despite being just minutes from the city.
The campground borders an active railroad line. While trains pass only 1–2 times a day, they have no reason to sound their horns. Please do not approach the tracks as there are no fences, and trespassing is strictly prohibited.
Each site includes a 12' x 12' raised tent deck with 1/4" board gaps for securing stakes. Parking for one vehicle is available at each site, with overflow parking just a few hundred feet away. A large fire ring with stump seating is provided at each site.
Amenities include a portable toilet, a central water hydrant, safety lighting, and clearly marked parking and campsite areas to help with nighttime navigation.
In May and June, fireflies light up the trees and meadow. On clear nights, the train embankment blocks city lights, revealing a brilliant night sky. A historic cemetery dating to before the American Revolution is also located on the property.
We are in Tennessee, and poison ivy is present—please learn to identify and avoid it. Our family is allergic and actively working to remove it from the grounds.
Dining and shopping are just a 10-minute walk away, with nearby options including Kickback Jacks, Aubrey’s, Maple Street Biscuit Company, Rendezvous Cafe, Buffalo Wild Wings, Ming’s Asian Cuisine, Wahaca Mexican Kitchen, Sully’s Steamers, and Rio De Brazil. Such a wonderful place to stay while enjoying a small slice of the AT. The kitchen has everything one needs to prep meals and two fridge/freezers. The bath house was much appreciated. Everyone we met was so friendly. It was lovely to wake up to see the trees and mountains. Loved the trails on the property, especially the lookout point. If I’m ever back in this area, this is where I’ll stay.

I've also been purchasing baked goods as well as bison chili from the owners of the farm...so that's been wonderful. No need to bring food for the picnic. Pat makes the best baked goods and chilli. Robyn, the blacksmith gave me a full lesson on constructing a steak BBQ utensil from scratch. It was very informative and it is truly the best tool I've ever used while cooking steak . I would highly recommend getting some of his stuff and maybe asking for a lesson . Very unique stuff I've never seen in stores . Worth every penny. Come here if you're looking to unwind, possibly grab some chilli and baked goods , speak to the ancient bison , pet the goats, and tread the winding creek , this is the spot.

They really did a sweet job here with the wooded area they have. I enjoyed the train that came through beside the hipcamp. Nice wooden decked tent platforms with metal fire rings. Port-a-potty and water spigot available. Was perfect for a one night get away. Quick drive for restaurants, etc..

Very nice and clean area/camping spaces. Platforms for each site are great for tent or cooking space if not tent camping.
Sites are a little closer together than expected but would only be an issue if the camps were all occupied and not respectful of each other.

The description really can't do this place justice; you just have to enjoy it for yourself. The view obviously is unbelievable and is the star of the show. But Cabin Breezy is wonderful on it's own. You can tell Jessica put so much love and attention to detail in every inch of the mini but mighty A frame. We also weren't expecting to have an actual bathroom and shower to use (not just port-a-potties). So that was a major perk. My fiancé, our dog, and I came up for a little 2 night getaway for my birthday. Work has been WAY more stressful than usual lately for both of us. Staying on this land was cathartic in so many ways and we return home feeling completely renewed. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with the rest of us!
